Hands down the best surfboard review channel on RUclips! Being a surfer in Central Florida it really helps to have a channel that test in sub par conditions. Keep ripping bro!
I tried to call Marcio to ask him directly but he is in Europe for awhile, I know the prototypes looked really similar to the ones from factory but if you ask me whenever something is made overseas the mass produced product rarely looks as good as the prototypes, whether's its shoes, surfboards, whatever, i would wait and put one in your hands to see for yourself before buying one online and taking the chance. They could be really sick or they could be really similar to a lot of the other surftech boards and i'm just not a big fan of them personally. Sorry i don't have a better answer.
No, the board reviewed is standard PU. They make an E2 construction built in San Diego (my favorite) and then the surftech ones are available now as well. I have not felt one of those in person so not sure exactly how they came out. Hope that helps!
Personally i like the Mod2 better, the CI twin is a really fun board if you like a true twin fin but i like to ride the Mod2 with the MR twins that have a little trailer. The CI Twin comes with that tiny nub fin but it really doesn't add much hold to the board in my opinion.
Sunrise Surf Shop thanks for the quick reply. Would you say the CI Twin has more of a true twin feel for any other reasons than just the small trailer? For example rocker, rail foil etc...The Mod2 seems performance orientated?
Yes for sure, the rocker is more relaxed on CI twin and rails are not foiled the same as Mod2, so you nailed it on the head. The Mod2 will give you a feeling of a performance board more so the the CI twin that has that classic Twin feel with a little different zing. Thanks for watching reviews!
Loving the test drive series man. It's awesome to see people give feedback on how boards surf in our Florida mush instead of perfect 6 foot glass!
thanks Abel! I really appreciate that, we will keep them coming for sure! Cheers!

Thanks man! I really appreciate that! We have some new episodes coming so stay tuned
Wow thanks for those conditions on your testing.
Thanks for the awesome content, have you had the chance to try the modern 2.5? How does it differ from the modern 2?
Thanks 🤙
How would you guys compare the ride to say.. The seaside or Midas by firewire??
Are the Surftech Fusion E2 boards the same construction as the one in the review?
