- Hurricane Hone slows as it passes further west from the islands. Peak activity has passed as there is no longer a possible landfall on the Big Island from the hurricane.
Here in south pahoa 9 am.
No electricity, cable, and internet.
Ali'i Drive has no power either.. be safe.. can not get hold of my family at the moment.. phones off too..

It just was qualified as a hurricane
it was called that yesterday by the locals.. most do not live by the beach so they should be ok..
It got upgraded to hurricane 🌀 because winds got stronger.

South point no worries we have no money so who cares about us
the rest of the world does.. some tourists are out there and no power today on Big Island.. family is not answering me..
Isn't South Point the most southern location for US so it should be important.

You do realize tropical storm and cat 1 hurricane in the past killed thousands of people so I wouldn’t underestimate a it even though it wasn’t that bad I still wouldn’t underestimate the next storm

perhaps one needs to be there to really understand the strength of the high winds and the flooding.. my family is not answering at the moment.. 13,000 without power on Big island.. praying for all...
