Looked for 10 min like forever and then this
I am not native speaker but the scenario of this story deeply impressed on me. So I try to understand every detail, every nuance
Mainly filmed at HMS Ganges. I was an extra. An officer sat down on the RH side, listening to the speech. I was singled out for a speaking part. To demonstrate how to put a gas mask on. But it was never used. Was there all day, for about 1 hr filming, for a few seconds in the play.
Thank you for uploading this without trying to make a profit ..... Bless
I only upload videos that I originally recorded at work, or off-air, that are unlikely to get a video release elsewhere - with a couple of exceptions :-) So I don't do it to make money.
I have uploaded many more videos, but the BBC especially guard some programmes and won't even let programmes that reviewed those other programmes be shown.
My upload of Kenny Everett talking about video effects was my most watched upload but the BBC blocked it because it contained a clip of "The Box of Delights" that is now on Britbox and they won't allow even small clips from it to be shown, and have hence blocked the entire video, even after I removed that section!
The same fate has affected a number of other programmes.
Thank you so much for this upload. A powerful and moving show, I really enjoyed ! Best regards from CA
@Shepherd Felix heya thanks ... 1st time that I've heard of this movie theatre :)
Remember this back in the 1980s, and the main reason was my old workmate was in this film as an extra I guess!....... he was the Corporal that was called for to guard Cathy after being caught! So I skipped through the movie to that spot! Yep it’s my old mate Jimmy!
Thanks for uploading
Thanks for putting on utube. Great acting, great story. Thanks to all the people who won the war. No hope for alice hudson.
Assaulting a publican more serious than RAPE??? And no-one else felt moved to comment?!? Deep down I don't think that the military attitude has changed much.. they've been dragged kicking and screaming all the way to even acknowledge these sort of crimes. And extremely good play, thank you for uploading. A very atmospheric piece shining light on a part of our war history that rarely sees the light of day. How brave dignified these young women were.
Thank You 🌿 Great story
I wonder where's Enigma and where's Benedict? I'm deceived
Brenda and Harriet look very young and fresh in this one.
The pub scene is my favorite of this, but the landlord was a bit of a jerk. Glad she lent him her knee ...
Another British film good cast
Domestic life can become boring for some women.
Есть на русском?
Not about Enigma.
Oh god this Cathy character is so unlikeable 🙈
Fantastic. watch this ! Women crack the real code well acted all sexes.
Poor acting........Walt
Not the film I was expecting, an imitation indeed of the real thing. Perfectly dreadful, awful in every way. Only watched 15 mins. How could BBC put their name to this drivel, and bad acting to boot.
