It will be fantastic when its done, now all they have to do is sort out the Ilchester By-Pass and make it a proper dual carriageway, put some flyovers on the various A303 roundabouts and finally sort out Stonehenge. Should be done by the end of the century.
It needs simple grade separated junctions, Ilchester bypass would work without the bottleneck roundabouts...I do hope it won't be that long but I fear you may be right!
It seems to me over the last couple of years that they have had only a skeleton workforce ....... I'm sure it could have completed much sooner if the same manpower thats being used on the A465 dualling was used.
@@roadsandthingsthe fine for finishing late is less money than employing the workers you need to finish on time, same for any road project anywhere in the country, none ever finish on time.
They seem to be getting on quite well now. Wish they’d do something about Stonehenge.

One ☝️ day ALL roads will be like this, Oh I’ve just seen a pig 🐖 fly over.
Why is this 12 months late why are we so bad at building infrastructure
Each drive-through the size of the workforce is seems small for such a project.
