If we don’t see any of Scott’s cars running by April, Hert is allowed to say “nap time nova” and Suppy or Dan is allowed to take the rover and finish it and keep it
For those here that wanna take this sound damping stuff on the floor out - use dry ice. James Deane did this in one of his last videos and it works like a charm! You don't have to hammer it out like a Maniac, just spread the ice on the damping and wait til it freezes. You will be able to take the damping out in one piece almost
These are proper build videos; no corny blog bs, jokes are quick and outta the way, awesome parts going in, and even good time lapse music. Thanks Vinny for keeping it real.
Honestly, the front of that carpet 'kit' looks really good with the floor plates, but the rest of it looks like someone just cut some shit up and said "shibby right, we'll charge $400 for this and they gotta jigsaw the shit"
I recommend checking out the fire safety stick (regional naming may vary). They disperse for way longer, smaller, lighter and don't leave any powder/residue behind and still work on most types of fire.
One of the best-looking worst-looking Porsches on RUclips! Really appreciate that you waste no time building your cars to a high level Vin then immediately thrash 'em like a true hoonigan 💯
Vin, I love your builds, you get really great parts and you actually finish the damn things! This car deserves to be noticed from a mile away, give it a great vivid porsche color.
Man, as if i didn't want a porsche bad already. Really cool build videos, keep up the good work vin, the style of the build is perfect! and the green bumpers looks cool
Yeah ,unfortunately this channel is about quick "content" and "looks good at this moment" not about proper repairs so that floor will be rotten through in couple years. After all he'll use it as a disposable track car, so don't expect any miracles.
@@theoriginaljoke3.148 Not all of it. Most of the brown stuff is indeed just old glue, but there were certain paint less spots with surface rust. Those should be properly cleaned and painted. You can see them clearly at passenger foot wells from 12:10 to 12:25
That interior looks so good, Vin! The green bumpers do look nice on the car, wasn't expecting it to turn out that way. I'd love a wrap on the car, something satin.
The green bumpers make your car look like the first condo of a girl who thought white was too boring but didn’t have the money to have it painted so she did a really funky accent wall instead, hoping it would make up for it. Don’t be that girl Vin, be you.
Paint is hammered, now is the time to try stuff. Primer the roof white, and throw down a single green offset rally stripe and the car will look dope till you decide what you like for sure. (Pro hack tip, most paint stores can put color matched paint in spray cans!!)
I think the dimple die filler panel would look way better powder coated in like wrinkle black or black hammer coat or something to match the black trim on the whale tail and the Rennspeed floor panels
That interior turned out sick, I want all that stuff for my 78 SC build I'm doing right now. I'm starting a youtube channel to document the build so I'll start ordering stuff now to be able to make my car look presentable. Heck yours looked great compared to my interior, Great job man.
Sick car!! It looks badass and you can drive it without the worry of a scratch or door ding. The Interior looks so dope too! Might be my new favorite over Scotto's no go Nova! I know its going now... lol
Nice work Vin! That interior turned out really nice. I'm not the biggest fan of the "outlaw" thing but I think the green bumpers look good with the white body.
theres some great threads on pelican how to fix your crushed oil lines. Which you should do because they cool much better than braided lines. also that back seat sound deadening weighs 40lbs
All things considered he did pretty damn good job on the DA and sanding. Cleaning up edges and areas that aren't flat is always difficult, looks like he did a good job on it.
The two tone looks good, maybe some rocker extensions in green to help tie it together and maybe some of the old race graphics on the door. Car is looking good. Hope you keep this one.
Honestly, you should have a fire-extinguisher in every car you have. You never want to be in a situation where you wish you had an extinguisher and most of us spend a lot of time in or close to our cars. The same goes for blankets.
My favorite Hoonigan car. I like all the mods Vin has done except I'm having a hard time with the dimpled panel. That reflective panel is a center peice for 911 and it doesn't look right to me. But I do love that car!
Do like a matching green stripe (or total wrap?) of the roof to tie the bumpers together. I think that would work well. Also I love the whale tail too.
That sledge was a German EDC protection device. How about slim green the rims, are you leaving the stock rims? Or after market? On that gas pedal repaint the red part of pedal to match the bumper...
At least we won't have to argue if it's blue or green...
POINTS
Duh, it's clearly blue...
Lol
Defo blue

If we don’t see any of Scott’s cars running by April, Hert is allowed to say “nap time nova” and Suppy or Dan is allowed to take the rover and finish it and keep it
Let's get this shit to the top so it happens
They run, don't you mean driving? 😂
To the top. Time to scumbag Scotto ... For his own good of course. Definitely not because it's a source of amusement.
100% agree with that statement, I also think if he hasn’t got at least half his cars driving they rest of the hoonigans should die his hair hot pink

We all know that this reflectorplate is never going to be replaced xD
That was my first thought but Vinnie actually does what he says he will so we'll see
Needs something to tie the bumpers in for sure. Looks like it's been in accident currently.
Yes, maybe some green mirrors to tie it in. Would look sick imho
@@justjonazjameson5559 mirrors AND the black on the whale tail.
Green side skirts too

Bro, the mirrors... that should do it perfect 🔝🔝🔝
Vin: I just want to wrap it so I can go drive it
Also Vin: So next episode the engine's coming out!
Thank you Vin for showing us what not to get as a first project.
I don't know, seems like fun. But I'm a masochist
I noticed you had pedals on your workbench and a sick santa cruz u riding trail/enduro?

Signal green the whole car
The whole point of "outlaw" cars is to piss off purists and just use the car as GOD intended - thrash the hell out of it. Seems likes it working.

@@RyanMcIntyre possible..I don't really know. All I know is he did it at his s15
which he is building at the moment
I work in a body shop and you did this pretty similar to what we do we also use razor blades to just take of a lot of the paint when it’s peeling
Holy shit, a Due South reference on Hoonigan. What a time to be alive.
Came to say exactly this. What a time indeed...

Green side skirts or rocker panels. That will tie the room together nicely.

Whale tail was def the way to go
Make up a thin stainless or alloy skid plate/rocker cover to go over the oil lines, will protect them from sharp objects and and curbs etc 👍
