Ascension is a Classless World of Warcraft Mod with over a million players since 2016. You can pick from any of the existing spells and talents from all classes, and play through the best WoW expansions: Vanilla (Current for seasonal), Burning Crusade (Current for free-pick), and Wrath of the Lich King. This is World of Warcraft done your own way.
Ascension is currently in Vanilla for the seasonal server and in The Burning Crusade expansion for free-pick using the Wrath of the Lich King Spells and Talents on the 3.3.5 WoW Client.

I agree with most of it, though I just leveled and geared up a SC healer enough to try out and it's solid from what I can tell, imo. Managing your mana is a skill issue from what I'm seeing, though I leveled a week ago, so there may have been a patch between then and when this vid was released. I haven't gotten around to trying out its other specs as I've been trying out the other healers as of late.
If any SC you're with has problems tell them to search 'mana' in the talent tree to see if they're missing any regen sources, if they have them then tell them to get off their ass and shoot more arrows. Tell them to go the arrow healing route, then they'll always end up at +90% mana when everyone else is oom, because as long as they're weaving in arrows they have infinite regen.

Tinker needs at least a no reload talent in the tree.
The melee it has is an instant reload and feels fluent in the rotation. The reload actually isn’t bad at all-
I want them to buff Stormbringer so bad, I love the concept of a lightning wizard and i want them to be higher up the list beyond aoe.

I agree, the reload thing on tinker is super annoying.... It needs to go.
They should at least put a no reload talent in the tree.
There’s a melee ability that instantly reloads and flows through the rotation fine- it really isn’t that bad.
I think we need to prioritize how the class feels to play is more important than the meter results.
It’ll all buff out eventually!
I prefer this. I get so stressed out running my business that I just want to come home and have fun playing a game.
The min-max stuff is cool for those who wanna do it and have time, but every game from WoW to FIFA to Madden to Palworld ALL have such a min max emphasis and meta is all anyone cares about
@@Obeythemay Unfortunately this is all anyone is chosen for is meta. Why pick someone up who does 10K when there's people who can perform 30k. It sucks, I 100% agree because I would love to be able to sit back and play this game casually - but doing that I know it won't get me into any of the content I'm interested in so I end up falling inside the loop. I definitely agree with you though.
@@Sinnski my argument would be this.... The content is easy in these games. 5 or 10 competent players can complete it. Might take a bit longer I guess. I don't mind, I can't imagine everyone else is that impatient but perhaps they are
@@Sinnski I used to be in wolk guilds that completed raids in the top 20% of the realm. Not necessarily competitive but still great guilds... They liked me because I could heal and I was the only hunter who didn't stand in fire

I disagree. The mana consumption is too high and the only thing that star caller brings is oh shit CD healing and raid wife cleanse and that’s every 1 min.

Idk why they decided to make so many classes. It's so out of scope. There's going to be a lot of them that are perpetually buggy/broken/boring/bad. In order to respond to that, they're gonna have to be lax on testing, and this will probably end up with a game breaking bug being pushed to live servers.
Nail on the head, my main concern of CoA having so many classes n specs is they simply are lazy with balance. They made their lifes so hard having this many classes and showing they are nerfing classes the wrong way n ignoring the classes and specs desperate for buffs.
Theyve literally only had a week or two to see where classes were going to be at end game , they are just now seeing how everything performs in a raid environment, its gonna take a bit to get everything in line
Hopefully we can see some specs reworked regarding their utility and kits and see more optimized rotations for better dps / healing. They have a lot of potential to do great on here.

LOL, came here because of Reaper and Runemaster. I played reaper to about lvl 40 and then i decided to take a break and read all the talents over and over and over.... and i came to conclusion its ass.... and i come here and you say its ass with all the right arguments. It seems like its just random shit thrown on a pile without much sense...
swapped to Riftblade, feels like playing melee Invoker from Dota :D love it
Arena definitely exists on COA, and its surprisingly balanced compared to Seasonal. And yes Crow's Cache does actually provide some nice loot

Oh man YES, I was craving for a CoA tierlist. Btw, the Ranger is SOOOO annoying on pvp pre lvl 60 at least, it's such a pain in the ass
I don't dare do pre-60 bgs, queues are so long too so I just level through RDF.

Too many classes use some kind of combo mechanic that feels lazy and lame. Also aggree with the damage thing, some specs dont really do damage.
Trust me, hopefully it'll buff out but right now it is extremely hard to play.

@@Sinnski you know I need to stop playing unless I'm going to monetize a channel and succeed at it. I'm 36, my business is mediocre at best. I constantly do side work to supplement it and I shouldn't be coming home burning 2-3 hours on a 20 year old game lol
