As someone who did not constantly grow up in a financially stable house, I have noticed that I often feel guilty about spending money/etc. Someone told me that feeling that way about money is based on the trauma of not always having it. It is hard to overcome that feeling, but it is possible. Especially when you realize that it is an issue. I've always been a silent viewer, but you saying that really resonates with me.

McKennna, 3 hours? You are untouchable. Love that for us. SAH/WFH mom here and I love everything about your channel. I think the gentle parenting vs whooping discussion is podcast worthy. Would love to hear more. My son is about the same age as Melo and I want to be a gentle parent so bad(his dad not at all..lol), but I feel TRIEEED! I feel like if I had more tools it would be easier, but as a first time mom I find myself either saying no all day and overstimulated/frustrated or doing nothing. No discipline is just not an option.
My unsolicited in advice is this: sometimes we make things harder on ourselves especially around the young toddler age where there into everything and seem to do just the exact opposite of what we want them to do. But the reality is every kid goes through that phase its just apart of development. I personal child proofed the house so I don’t even have to say no he simply can not go where he is not supposed to and get into things and then I also starting giving “less rules” or saying no less. If he’s not hurting him self or someone else or damaging the house I just let the kids be its more fun for them to be able to explore and be creative then to put strict boundaries on everything they do and then have to deal with attitude or tantrums which we feel the need to then discipline. Also I hope that makes sense . Put also parenting is super confusing for all of us when in doubt mrs rachel it out 😂❤️

All the Amazon finds videos and looking on Pinterest makes me want to bulk buy. Curating a home and your own unique space takes time and those beautiful photos are potentially MONTHS/YEARS in the making
It’s the I’m bout to start whooping them part for me … I had to pop my youngest at Ross the other day and this older black lady said . I’m glad to see someone still disciplines their kid. Granted my son was in there acting a fool screaming at the top of his lungs like he didn’t have no since he is 4.

I’ve missed your videos so much as I haven’t been able to tune in for the past few weeks. Don’t feel guilty for giving your children the best. You put in so many hours in your prep, your videos and editing. You work so hard & the boys being blessed with a better school and the best start in life is something you should never feel guilty for. The only ones who are gonna have something negative to say are typically ones that dont support you, dont pay your bills, sleep with you etc and just want to hold you back out of envy. Worry about those under your own roof and you will be fine. If anything it should be questionable when you as a parent dont want to provide your family the best. There should never be a limit to that just to make others feel comfortable

I had the same struggle with my skin.. It literally depressed me. I was soo frustrated seeing all these serums, creams, topical creams working for everyone else and felt like everything was what was needed for my skin.. However it was literally damaging my skin barrier so that everything and anything was just irritating my skin.. I focused on restoring my skin barrier by just washing my face with CevaVe oil facial cleaner the green one and nivea (the thick one that comes in the tin) and it was a miracle.. I'm no longer running to the mirror every morning to see what new spots I got.... Now I'm living my best life... Of course every skin is different so I'm not advising just sharing my journey maybe to give another perspective. All the best with you skin journey sis...youre not alone and your beaut still shows.

Happy Sunday! Try a hydrating cleanser like Cetaphil or Cerave for normal to dry skin. The cleansers that foam can be stripping and the skin barrier is compromised and causing acne. The same thing happened to me and once I switched to Cetaphil, I saw a huge difference.
