- Bexar County’s sheriff delivered a tough but deliberate message to his newest class of cadets, 17 men and women who hope to don the uniform of a detention officer in the near future.
Not once did I hear. You have a constitutional Oath to uphold that means not violating rights of anyone.
So in a one minute 44 seconds video you're going to judge them if you don't hear them bringing up the Constitution or the Oath?
The fact that a sheriff would have tell his deputies (fellow law enforcement officers) to not break the law, is the real problem. If you can't keep yourself from breaking the law, do yourself and everyone else a favor, and stay away from a career in law enforcement.

The Sheriff wearing the Army Cavalry insignia on his uniform and his use of the term "Troops" to describe civilian employees is a troubling indicator of the perceived role of law enforcement.

The mosquito, because the NUMBER OF DEATHS as a result of mosquito bites is by far the highest. Common sense tells you a mosquito isn’t “dangerous” but they measure based on the number of deaths, not the actual risk for being attacked and killed violently

Does Texas State Statutes considers County Detention Officers as sworn officers or Detention Officers can only make a citizens arrest.
