The inclinations are what really allow you to set your character apart and allow you to essentially create any type of character you want. It's an amazing alternative to multi-classing and really creates teamwork with many of the options. Great stuff Scotty!
Blastmaster is totally a Dragonball character, i love it. I live how this system seems to check if you happen to fail rather than happen to do something. Like lock picking. You pick the lock unless you totally blow it.
I just picked up the pdf this morning since I'm gifted with a great color printer at work 😁. It's brilliant marketing strategy offering the pdf free along with the printed book because if I change my mind and want it in print I don't take a loss! I've had my feelers out for a simple rules-lite system (TinyD6 & Tri-Cube Tales specifically) and each have their virtues. For example, in Tri-Cube the GM never has to roll for NPC since the players roll to evade, freeing the GM to focus on the story and cinematic action. I may incorporate that into this. What I like about this which is lacking in the others is a simple armor system. No doubt you'll be publishing the Sci-Fi version. I'll keep my eyes out 👍
Given that you mentioned a fighter cant take an additional boon on melee weapons, would you also do the same for other inclinations or features, like iron will for brute's superstition? Did this come up in playtesting later on, for example with magic items, where a fighter gets an extra boon with a sword, now they are rolling 3 dice taking highest, and so on. How was that at the table.
Hi DM Scotty ! I really dig your system. I have a question though : The Alchemist inclination says that the character know potion-making. Have you any advice on how a character can create his own potions ?
Hi bud, love EZD6, was wondering about blending seer with tough bastard and check mate. The idea being I could apply a magic barrier on my turn then use check mate on the enemy turn to intercept. Between seers precognition and tough bastard i should be pretty safe. Am I understanding precog and checkmate right or is check mate an action and precog works differently?
Sounds like a killer combo. Precog has been updated a bit in the FAQ. It takes your free action to use it, so it would conflict with checkmate as that takes your free action also. (only one free action per round)
Excited to test this game out in a oneshot that might lead into a full campaign! I have a question regarding melee and ranged combat though. Ranged attacks gets a bane when in close quarters but is there any official ruling to how exactly it works or is there anything stopping an archer to move 5 feet away and shoot his bow? Sorry for bad english.
Hi! For the spellburn risk, if the player rolls between 1 and 5, does the strike they take add to the normal spellburn strike resulting in 2 strikes instead of 1? Or do they take only 1 strike like the other circles?
If one is a scroll caster from Hero Path like Skald or Inclination like Hedge Wizard, do you get (2) scrolls a day? Since scrolls go away after use. Or they just have ability to use scrolls if found?
@@theDMsCraft I just wanted to say DM Scotty, OMG we just had our first session of EZD6, I've never seen the players so happy and invested. The joy and excitement of a crit chain going was insane! I can't reccomend this book and system enough to my fellow gamers, the system not only doesn't get in the way, but when it's there it makes things better! Bravo!

Would a Botanicalist Halfling be able to recover their Second Breakfast while in the "wild"?
Hell yeah! Keep these coming.

It works great and yes boons can stack =)

Additional question, can you use karma for tough bastard rolls?
sure can =)

Hey DM Scotty! Is there a form-fillable PDF character sheet download available for EZD6?
Not as of yet, community is working on some sheets

they can move away. only a problem if blocked from moving or have to move to a place you no longer have LOS

@@theDMsCraft thanks a lot! I can't wait to try it!
@@Slasher837 Have fun, happy to help.
I have a quick question about the Blastmaster Circle, do they have to roll for spellburn every time time they cast?
No, just when they take spellburn then they roll on the table
@@theDMsCraft Thank you sir!
Not sure how often it comes up but dwarf racials might be too weak, compared to an elf.
Until you fight something that inflicts poison or an NPC tries to poison you. The boon to the poison save is HUGE.

You start with 2 scrolls at character creation and then have to find more in the course of adventuring.
@@theDMsCraft Thank you kindly for the quick reply! I'm so excited to convert my DND group over to EZ D6 :)
