A quick and easy way to keep your Vectras clean. 👍 I do the same with mine it’s just remembering when to clean them. Lol..
Good info for my L2!
Thanks Jacob! happy to help :)
Can U post a video how to maintain an external pump, such as BLueline 70 HD . Thanks for all tips. 👍👍👍👍
It would be similar, but if i can find anyone local with one ill see what i can do!
Hi great video. How would you go about removing the rear bearing for a deep clean? That usually has a calcification build up
Usually a toothbrush in or small brush poked in there can clean it up. Stuff comes off very easily after a citric acid bath
Hey how you maintain the masteronic as well replace
Inside tube
I haven’t replaced the inner ones yet but it prob wouldn’t hurt. Good call for a future video
Do you ever disassemble the pump before soaking in citric acid?
Normally no but it wouldnt hurt!
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
What model is vectra pump?
That’s an L2. But it’s overkill. Could haven easily Jsut use a m2
@@ReefDudes how big is your tank?
Looks like 60x24x24
Do u use a temp return pump or is it ok to leave the tank for an hour or so with no return
It’s fine to be off for an hour or two. As long as you have a power head and flow in your tank things will still be happy.
In a perfect world you would have a spare and swap them out. But not always doable
Terrible, they don’t tell you how to take the impeller apart
