- Somehow unnoticed for many hours today, the manifold pump stopped pushing water into several items including the Anemone Cube. Fortunately, I had a new replacement motor stashed away in case there was a need, which is great considering the Vectra pumps are scarce at the moment.

Marc I see where you are coming from. I have tons of boxes from old stuff. Newer stuff. All kinds of replacement parts you never know if you'll ever need. But man are you happy when there are there! Hahaha that's the reefing addiction for ya!

I guess when things get used and get old, even with meticulous maintenance like yours, things still fail. Good thing you are handy.
Wish I would have known about the failure and they may have replaced out of warranty. Mine was a year and a half old when it failed. Last exotech return pump I have purchased.
i ordered a new pump, for backup . you never know when !

Return pump failures are the worst. Also your luck lately is terrible. All of your equipment must have a curse on it?
