I traveled from 20-73, so now I am in my 79th year and doing virtual trave, and learning all I can about everything. I journal, and rent and utilities are too expensive in the USA.

I am a Culinary Teacher with 6.65 years to work. Girl it can’t get here sooner. In the meantime I plan to start making short and extended trips to become acquainted with 🇲🇽.

Good Morning. A little different from other subscribers, black male, retired want to live in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. I understand your focus on Black Women, so I just wanted to say good luck to you and your followers. What is the reason black women want to live abroad? Is it the racism? I am so tired of it. After 78 years I want to live in a Country that accepts me as a human being, and not the inhuman being they perceive and believe. I live in San Diego so want to spend 6 months in Mexico and 6 months in SD, and over time reduce the 6 month SD part. Love you guys. Stay strong, stay well.
I love puerto vallarta, mexico, guanajuato and guadalajara. Stayed for 2months each time I went. We will not get away from racism going to another country. If anything, in my experience, we'll get 2X discriminated against. 1. Being black 2. Being a foreigner....some people in countries will take an interest in you for being different, but will still see you as not one of them. The most I felt comfortable was in the dominican republic because many were black like me, but I still was discriminated against and charged higher prices because I was not one of them. I love Mexico but it was hard forming relationships.

Traveling changes us, opens our eyes, helps us appreciate what we have. However, I am a realist when it comes to my experiences abroad. Black americans have to accept there is no utopia where we can escape discrimination. But we can have lots of positive experiences. If anything, blacks need to travel abroad more often. I even believe negative experiences are still good because it helps us learn, evolve, assimilate, and change our ways of thinking.

We leave for Porto, Portugal in 3 1/2 months, sight unseen, and can’t wait!! Ww lived in Camiguin, Philippines last year, so we did all of our down sizing before that trip. I enjoy traveling, and wouldn’t trade it for anything. Portugal will now be our home, but will continue to do small trips.

I just listened to your friend's financial advice. I'm now discouraged AND thoroughly confused. I'm disabled and retired so, I have two streams of income. I need this type of video. I need things spelled out to me simply...I've had several mini strokes...it takes me a while to process some info. I'm determined, though. I want to move to Mexico. I live across the street in New Mexico! This should be a simple process, no? I feel I need to speak with you privately. I'm poor. My only expenses are rent, food, and a few miscellaneous things. I've no car (I'm visually impaired)...no credit card dept...no storage unit. I feel that I can successfully move to Mexico. My church has a sister church there. I plan to start off by visiting them and get a lay of the land.

I'm playing catch up watching your previous streams. The apartment we will be living is was left to my husband, so it's paid for. Just the administration fees and utilities. I decided to ship our things to Europe. Main reason is the bookcases I have would cost me almost 4k to have built in Germany and then sent. We're only taking my office furniture since my husband built it to my specifications and our bedroom set. I've received quotes for almost 8k, but now you have me thinking how much the import fees will be. We may work schedule around since we're also selling house.

People Who Have Online Businesses Do Well In Other Countries. After Doing Some Research, I Found Out You Can Get Your Social Security Depending On The Country. Ask Questions On The Net.
It's nice to have a no attachment mindset. And .. it's great to stay somewhere for two years at least ..then decide if it's a place you want to invest in. Also ..pack light. Buy a house blueprint and see how much it will cost to construct.

Unfortunately I was born before these type of chances were available or I would have moved out of the US as soon as I graduated college. Now I am stuck in the US because of medical reasons- I have to be close to a hospital. I look forward to at least going on a short trip to Rwanda within the next 5 years.

If you own a house at home (no mortgage) you will have property tax and insurance. Hopefully offset by rental income.

YES it is possible. I have similar medical issues. I went to a finical planner and work out a plan to move to mx at the end of the year. good luck!

Unfortunately I was born before these type of chances were available or I would have moved out of the US as soon as I graduated college. Now I am stuck in the US because of medical reasons- I have to be close to a hospital. I look forward to at least going on a short trip to Rwanda within the next 5 years.
Same here; it's as if we were born several decades too early. Very unfortunate but I live vicariously through these kids. So happy for them. 😊🤗
