It also allowed them to be the inventor instead of paying somebody else to get the rights to produce a design. Why should they wait around for car makers to invent cars when the scale builder can invent cars too. In 2018 THIS CAR DESIGN IS STILL a futuristic design. Tamiya is STILL WAY AHEAD OF CURRENT DESIGN. The other designs are 200-500 years into the future. This idea you have about cars being 'scale' is complete BS! The grasshopper IS scale too! It's just the scale item of the near future and you can life that futuristic lifestyle TODAY! buy it and you're on your way!

If you want to drive over rough terrain, get the right equipment for that driving experience. Balloon paddle tread tyres are NOT designed to work on dirt or grass race tracks! Get that in your THICK HEAD IDIOTS! This vid shows ALL the hallmarks of the components FAILING DURING DRIVING. The solid rear axel causes the left side wheel to DIG INTO THE GROUND and the right wheel to lift up off the ground while your taking off from a stationary start position. As soon as you drive over a bump, the back of the car launches into the air and you don't get anywhere while accelerating. When you turn a corner the front wheels don't grab onto the surface and the car just keeps going in a straight line. THE WAY YOU DRIVE DAVEROBBO5, you shouldn't be driving a 2WD car! You have NO CLUE about the cars you own.
