I am on a double stack 1911 kick right now and for some reason, Staccato has THE right look for me, and they perform. I understand there are pistols that are way more hand crafted and pistols that are better value for money. Looking forward to seeing more reviews from you because you highlight the finer details, I think a custom DS 1911 is the next progression! 😂
@@asianeleven6050 I'll be doing a video in the next few weeks on the Staccato XC, which will hopefully highlight why I think Staccatos are an excellent option regardless of price point. They get a lot of little things right.
@LEADitOUT rock on, so I'm familiar with you from other platforms and have referenced your knowledge a fair share. I'm currently lining up a custom build using SVI parts (island barrel Single port comp/ island barrel sight block). My question is aluminum or steel grip? I'm high A class with an Aluminum MPA, would steel really make any difference?
@bobbytaylor3177 When a grip safety is tuned correctly, as in activates after minimal movement as opposed to needing to be fully depressed, I don't view it as a weak point or hindrance.
The Nighthawk TRS Comp is a nice pistol, but more comparable to something like a Staccato XC than this gun. Nighthawk drops the ball on some of the finer details and in my experience is inconsistent with slide to frame fit.
Sounds like you found your perfect pistol it sounds like bruh... No matter what people say, thats what its about if everyone thought like you it would be less confusing..! Good job bruh!!!😎
@Enyalus87 It is in the same bracket as Infinity. Personally, I do prefer polymer grips. They are the lightest, mitigate felt recoil and are the most temperature neutral, which is important for me shooting outside in Texas. All grip materials have their advantages and disadvantages and there are times where I prefer steel or aluminum, but for 90% of my shooting I like polymer, and MJD is the best polymer grip available.
@Phenom2606 This one and the Chambers do not use a tool less guide rod. Chambers doesn't like them due to a potential breaking point. It also wasn't feasible on this gun with the interface of this comp and length.
Fellow Addict, I am excited to see videos on your collection. Your videos are greatly appreciated just like your reviews. Good stuff keep it up.
Saw the reveiw on 1911Addict and good to see the actual video. One of the best looking 2011
a very well thought out firearm between the end user and builder, very cool to see and very well executed!

They're definitely a solid gun, and I really like the appearance too.
This is probably the coolest compensated 2011 out there 👍🏻
Great review man! I have a goal of getting a Charyn and one point or another! If you ever get the chance to review a hayes please do!
Thank you, and Hayes is on my short list for a review, I consider them among the best.

curious why you didn't have him pin the grip safety.

How do you like over a Nighthawk TRS Comp?

I love the slide cuts on the front only, it’s a great look!
@@a300fe1 Yeah it looks aggressive!
Nice to see you doing video reviews man!

What sort of price bracket is this? Like the Nighthawks and Hayes, Atlas, or Infinity?
Also, you prefer polymer grips as opposed to aluminum or steel?

My alchemy is about to get sent to him for his virago package… cannot wait
@@TennisPro4686289 that will be a Peak 2011! The Virago package is incredible
That barrel looks a little weird. Where does the rifling stop, at the black part?
It is a cone barrel, the black part is the cone. The rifling stops right before the compensator port
@ thanks 👍🏽
Outstanding
Hey man, is there another way to contact them other than social media??? Not everyone is on it... 😎
@@Thomas-vt7cz Giving him a call or email through the Charyn Precision is the best way to reach him.
