The last 2 times I went to Iceland I had TWO checked bags, primarily for all my camera and video gear, with tripods, 2 drones, a 15" laptop, fresh clothes for every other day, My thinking is that I only deal with these 2 checked bags in the airports and then I leave one of them in the car the rest of the trip, and that way I don't stress much on trying to leave behind things that will make the trip better and more comfortable. This is just an alternate point of view. Thanks for the video!

Thank you for sharing this! Absolutely, it will be different for every person. And I understand that for us creatives it's never easy to leave the gear at home hah. Traveling with just one backpack is definitely only for those who are willing to sacrifice some comfort .

I wouldn't (in a future) and I didn't (during my latest trip to Iceland) bring any bottle with me because it take a lot of space in my backpack. I always by some water in plastic bottle at the first day and then I am reusing this one until I got to airport for departure when I just throw it out. This way it will take no space in your backpack.

Plastic bottles are not reusable, they harm your health.

That's indeed a good solution - if you don't mind drinking from the plastic bottle

People do care when you have packed a bigger than carry-on size since overhead bin storage is always a pain due to people bringing too much stuff.
