I hate to say this but I would have to buy one of the new Snap-on scanners. Why? For the simple reason they the only ones I know the warranty is good and even after the warranty runs out, they can fix it! It doesn’t do everything the Launch or Autel does, but if won’t do a certain feature then they can take it to the dealership. You could spend a million dollars and you still wouldn’t be able to do everything on every car. Everything not one tool but everything I bought on Amazon or internet was disposable. Snap-on scan tools last a long time! Launch scan tools are disposable. When it breaks or gets outdated, you toss it and buy another one. They can’t even get all the translation to English right. Nobody wants to see manufactures cars page after page of models that were never even sold in the states, and never will be. The Launch and Autel scan tools claim to do everything. In reality, it’s hit or miss you never know from car to car if a certain function is gone work or not.
I was suppose to work with Launch. I met them last year at the AAPEX show. The guy talked all about high end tools. Then he said he would send me different tools to make videos on. After one month I have to send it back.. Then he said our marketing team will push those videos. And we will grow your channel very fast.. But what they actually tried to send me was low end $80 to $100 dollar tools. I turned it down.
@@1970chevelle396 Have not tried any of the more expensive TopDon, but you can see why someone might go straight to the Tool truck to get a scan tool. That’s a lot of money to take risk!
