Mysore Dasara (3/10) - The Palace

Mysore Palace is relatively a new addition to the historic city of Mysore. Completed in the year 1912 A.D., it is more than a mere Palace as Mysoreans feel that it is a symbol of their prestige. When lit with over hundred thousand bulbs, it is a spectacular sight to behold. A master piece in the Indo-Saracenic architecture, it is surrounded by gardens, temples and cool shady boulevards. Sounds pretty much like the ambiance in Zuari Garden City!
