Really smart guy. But I wish he could further illaborate on the consolidated statements after acquisition, especially the inter-company transactions, in his mergers and acquisitions video
Porter's framework is very useful for understanding how industry STRUCTURE impacts a business. It lacks a few other pieces that are essential to understanding a business. So in my view it is profoundly useful/insightful, but incomplete.
Hey Vic, Found your video's really useful. I have a case study interview coming up with an energy consulting firm in Scotland. What framework would you recommend for a case study where you have to predict the energy demand in 20-30 years based on current population growth trend( 2002-2012) and G.D.P growth (2002-2012)??

He probably a very experienced and knowledgeable guys for case interview, but definitely he is not good at presentation according to the video i saw. I really hope he can present more structural way and prepare well before he plan to show a case to demo the structure tree. Sorry, maybe it's a little bit picky, but that's my feeling
This got me a job... Thank you Victor!!
BlackJack Wow congratulations! Any advice on where you got to do case practice?
Loved listening to the term "Intel Effect" in this video today! Amain example of how the biggest players can lose their standing in the market
Good video... Food for thought: fixed costs are not a barrier to entry if we assume that capital markets are efficient!

It helps if you have his handout.
I think the man has realized that and seeked help from professionals in another video. It takes practices, nobody is perfect.
