Improvement audit findings do not change overnight Beaumont. It requires a political will and strong leadership and management to turn around and improve audit outcomes. You are not going to move from an adverse finding to a clean audit overnight. The issues raised must be tackled in a planned and coordinated manner.

But my point stands. Action SA have done this move as revenge. They have also handles this very poorly instead if engaging with their voters and explaining why this move is best for South Africa they pulled the plug suddenly and now are trying to retroactively explain their reasoning.

The markets and our economy would have taken a serious nosedive if the DA did not step in to fill the void. What we are sitting with is the least worse option. The best option would be to unseat the ANC with a centralist coalition that excludes regressive forces like the EFF and MKP. Nah Mike, there is no "murky" space here. There is a constitutional mandate to service all areas, i.e., services should be provided to those who can afford to pay and are paying and those who cannot afford to pay. The only thing we should be trying to do is to create an environment that fosters growth and development in our communities so that everyone can afford to pay. In 2024, we should not be asking questions about who needs to be serviced and who shouldn't; the only individuals who should not be serviced are those who can afford to pay and are not paying. We should leave this Apartheid mentality in 1994, and not carry this energy around in the new South Africa that we are trying to build.

Mayor Cilliers Brink was Tshwane's best and possibly ONLY chance for a better and brighter future for ALL of Tshwane's residents!!
Do you know that the young Mayor was collaborating with the National Department of Water and Sanitation regarding the water quality crisis in Hammanskraal?
For the first time in nearly twenty years, there is now, thanks to Mayor Cilliers Brink, a credible and workable plan to have clean drinking water flowing out of the taps of Hammanskraal by the end of this month!
( Phase 1 is almost complete)
The removal of Mayor Cilliers Brink was a very sad outcome for the City of Tshwane! Let's hope that the young Mayor's plans for Hammanskraal are not derailed!!

      Now the City's finances are
      sliding and regressing once again!!
That means less service delivery for the people, and the poor are the ones that will suffer the most since poor people rely heavily on governmental services!
This is because they cannot afford to replace poor services with private services, like middle class and wealthy South Africans can!

It really is bot that hard to understand. The goal here is to _limit_ the power of partues with bad policies. The only reason you go into a coalition with the ANC is to keep out the EFF and MK. But if you _dont need_ the ANC to govern, you dont bring them back to power. In Tshwane, ActionSA has taken us _backwards._ We didnt need to have the ANC or EFF in government, and ASA has gone and done exactly that.
