Also, there is always help available. There is no scenario where a kid is unable to get out of their situation. Teachers are mandatory reporters. If a child says to a teacher, "I'm being abused", the teacher will immediately call the police, and the parents will probably never see the kid again, they may even go to prison.
The kid will be taken care of, of course. So why can't they report it?
