Dooku finds the child after Vosa dies and has him raised in his Castle on Kholma. As a secret apprentice to be used similar to how Sidious trained Maul. I remember playing this on my ps2 then reading The boba fett books and doing book reports on them which now Disney made legends. But whatever Jango and boba fett will always be my favorite characters in star wars and this game i have so many good memories with.
Growing up, I always figured that they didn't use Jango's iconic blaster sound because given how much and how thumb-breakingly fast you have to shoot in this game the sounds would get really loud and annoying really quick. If you've ever fired the westar sound really quickly it does not sound good.
It was technically remastered for at least the Playstation 4 but that was just making it look okay on that system rather than any actual texture or graphical remastering. I am sure PC has graphic mods to remaster it. But a remake or a Boba sequel would be great.
This is awesome man I really needed a reminder of how awesome the times before all the Disney stuff were. I love how the second stage for Vosa just gives more of an advantage to Jango than it does her. You can cheese her so easily. She doesn’t block while running, so you can literally just keep back flipping and flying around her the entire time, shooting her constantly and it’ll be over in less than a minute.
Just because it's not Disney Canon doesn't mean it can't be Canon, afterall it still is in Legends, and no one truly takes Disney "Canon" seriously besides the shills. Hell for that matter, I'm not even sure if Disney has even overwritten Jango's backstory since I haven't paid much mind to what they've been doing for awhile now.
My main grip with this game's story is how much of a target Jango makes himself throughout the course of it. You would think a bounty hunter would attempt to slightly lay low but dude straight up murders a senator and becomes #1 most wanted on Coruscant
And when you think about it, he sneaks all throughout Coruscant to silence the assassin and nobody in the movie knows who Jango is. Despite the game releasing AFTER the movie and the events of the game happening before.

With the "Standing still and getting shot why scanning bit" I think there was supposed to be a better stealth aspect of the game that was never really actualized. The idea may have been to scope the area out first identifying bounties then planning how you proceed. But since all the NPCs immediately see you and shoot at you it makes it pointless.
I played this using save states on Dolphin Emulator and that really helps with dealing with some of the more annoying sections of the game since I can just save scum past them. Highly recommended since the game is awesome once you aren’t annoyed by those areas.
The difference between Dark Jedi and Sith is quick and easy to explain. Jedi and Sith are "organisations" with different ideologies (Sith Code/Jedi Code), not "alignments" to coin a D&D term (although the Jedi will have you believe that they are *good* and the Sith are *evil*). And, as both organisations recruit children and indoctrinate them into their own belief system, being a member of either organisation is not even a guarantee of agreement with their respective beliefs. A Sith is a member of the Sith Organisation. And a Dark Jedi is someone who used to be a Jedi and turned against their teachings, but didn't join the Sith. Plus, the Sith used to be a species which, over time, intermixed with humans and other species. But, for the most part, the term Sith is used to refer to the "organisation" and its' adherents rather than that species.

One of the only games I never managed to finish as a child. I was probably around 10 when this came out and it took me weeks to convince my dad to get it for me, when I got it I remember cutting out the (in Germany) 18+ pegi icon replacing it with a pegi 12 that I cut out from some other game I had so that my mom wouldn’t get upset. Great time that was!
I remember this game being too hard to beat as a 7 year old so I used a cheat code to unlock all the levels so I could at least try to play them all. I know it will never happen but a remake that modernizes the gameplay would be amazing.
The Disneyverse hate is strong with this one. Not that I blame you. Aside from a small fraction, most of it feels like a bad fanfiction made by someone that only liked the franchise for flimsy reasons and wanted to make their own story, and when no one with sense liked it, just dug the hole they were in deeper while saying "No no no, we can make it work! You'll see! I'm not the idiot here. You all are for hating this!"
I havent read the Vong books but is there a lore reason why they wouldnt target Tatooine? Like the lack of organic life would make the planet difficult to terraform or something...
I remember seeing this game on the shelfs for so long, and I finally got it on Easter back when I was 8y old. I played the shit out of this game, but never got to finish it because of how hard it was. I completed it on the ps4 back in 2021 and man, the game still holds up.
A lot of people dont seem to notice this, but these are not necessarily the "wrong" blaster sounds for Jango's WESTAR-34 blasters. The classic sound we think of from the movie doesn’t actuality show up until Geonosis. Watch the Kamino fight scene against Kenobi again. You will notice his blasters make "basic" blaster sounds. I have no idea why the sound changed later in the movie, but a similar thing happened with the N-1 Naboo starfighters lasers and many other sounds are inconsistent even in the same movie. My headcanon is that because he lost one on the Kamino platform, he cranked up the power setting on the one he still had to make up for it.
8:21 best scene from this game. Also to elaborate on what he meant about the old EU of Star Wars there is an entire story for pretty much every background character even the lore for the Stormtrooper who got mind tricked by Obi-Wan in a new hope he was on the death star and got off shortly before it was blown up and later became an imperial officer. Wanna know what chewy and Han were doing shortly before a new hope nearly getting eaten alive according to the book Death Troopers where a zombie like virus turns the imperial crew of an imperial prison ship into flesh eating zombies.
I played this game in the Nintendo GameCube and it was amazing! It's like the controller was built for button mashing the Large Green A button. Love it. Especially really fun on the third chapter levels. Even though, most levels were repetitive, it's the type of repetition I really liked. Run into rooms and fire rapidly. The Tatooine levels were hard until you know where to stand. The Jetpacking okay and you have to jet used to it with time. Eventually I did get all the bounties. The only thing I had to be careful with was accidently killing them. I actually like the Boss Battles, they were simple and quick but not over whelming. A massive thing in the middle you have to shoot at a bunch, Thats pretty much what thing game is about, lots of rapid shooting and moving around. Once you become familiar with how to pass certain areas it becomes much easier. Tatooine takes more trial and error to find an easy way to beat it but there is a way. The dark moon is very simple with the flame thrower and standing the right spots.
If Jango is the true Mandalore and the true best bounty hunter in the galaxy, I wish George Lucas had seen the potential in him not to kill him like that.
I went to Walmart with my parents circa 2003 to buy Grand Theft Auto: Vice City and they wouldn't let me so I (a huge Star Wars fan) saw this game and bought it instead. Probably my greatest experience playing a video game ever. The environments and additions to the lore are definitely my favorite things about it. I also love the creepy atmosphere of the game that gets set up immediately just by the music playing over the main menu.

Facts. There are exceptions I feel... but so much of it isn't very good.
This video is a masterpiece. Thank you!
The voice actor for the gladiator ring is the narrator for the clone wars series. At least he sure as f*ck sounds like him
This was my all time favorite Star Wars game!
You love for great Star Wars and hate for the Disney trash earned you a subscriber
"No im not counting the Disney movies and neither should you." Truer words have never been spoken. Bravo sir!! God bless you!!
It would be cool if they made a sequel for Boba Fett by Respawn Entertainment.
Dude this game was very special to me. Its such an amazing piece of star wars.
Really enjoying the vids man. subscribed
This is a great series man. I watched my brothers friend play some of this but never did myself. Looks hard!
39:21 theres gotta be a proper name for that feeling of dissociation while you slog through a bad section of a game
If you find out let me know because I feel it often
@@evprince AVGN called it the "Where the Fuck do I Go?" kind of game. That's an apt description of some parts of this game.
Edit: Oh. I saw "Dislocation," not "Dissociation."
@@tonystank3091there’s the name lol. We’ll done. Dislocation.
I'm not a fan of anything Disney SW but they are out of their minds not immediately putting tons of money into a new bounty hunter video game after the Mandalorian blew up the first season.. I just don't see them having the creativity to do much at all with the galaxy. It's so dang frustrating
Jangoisbaddest
The Disneyverse hate is strong with this one.
Not that I blame you. Aside from a small fraction, most of it feels like a bad fanfiction made by someone that only liked the franchise for flimsy reasons and wanted to make their own story, and when no one with sense liked it, just dug the hole they were in deeper while saying "No no no, we can make it work! You'll see! I'm not the idiot here. You all are for hating this!"
I havent read the Vong books but is there a lore reason why they wouldnt target Tatooine? Like the lack of organic life would make the planet difficult to terraform or something...
Revenge of the Sith actually does feature Tattooine. When Kenobi drops Luke off to his aunt and uncle.
Just found your channel and this video. Incredibly well done you deserve far more subs!
This is the one game I seriously want to see remade one day 😫
Your shop idea could include upgrades for Jango's pistols- and the last tier of upgrade could switch them to the sound used in the movie.
I also like reading found wiki page and giving an opinion with no connection to the game
This was my favorite Star Wars game that didn't involve flying a ship until KOTOR.
If Jango is the true Mandalore and the true best bounty hunter in the galaxy, I wish George Lucas had seen the potential in him not to kill him like that.
I Love your Halo retrospectives 👍
Clancy Brown is also the Devaronian Burg on the Mandalorian. I love this game, the story and gameplay.
This game needs and deserves a remake
Yeah this is definitely my favorite Star Wars video game, even though it’s not objectively the best like KOTOR 1 and 2.
2:23 No bounty posted while getting shot in the face lol😂
I absolutely loved this game!
I loved that game as a kid, it was an all time favorite
Hey how c9me you don't review knight of the old republic or am I not seeing it?
I want to, but I want to do them right! And they're huge, so I have to plan them correctly.
@evprince I so look forward to it but not going the Morgan Katarn bit was always great I'd love to see that randomly pop up but I'll just re watch the jedi knight videos keep up the great retro videos
