I'd have preferred a video that has no cuts, no edits, no music, no ads, no interruptions, just two hours of someone quietly hiking the National Parks trail in 4k UHD. A natural experience with natural sounds.
These are my favourite kind of video's. Just a beautiful walk in the calming nature. No talking, not just clips in 'stationary' places, just as if you were really walking here.
Yes, don't move to northern California because I love this spot on our planet earth, lol. The Mountains Rivers Ocean and Beaches are truly so beautiful. I'm fortunate and humbled to be living here for years and making a good life for the family. Truly amazing place one must come see. If you love the outdoors, you won't be disappointed. Lots to do in nature, from low 60 degrees by Ocean to 100 deg just 20 minutes up in the Mountains in the summer time. Thanks for sharing your work!
It would be really nice if there was hundreds of these forest in America and Europe I feel extremely grateful that such an forest exists but it would be way better if there was hundreds of them stretching out hundreds of miles in each direction in America and in Europe I really appreciate your video I felt like a kid again.
I'm usually right along with the rest, in this case I have to disagree... I think the music provides a real dynamic, an emotional component, and genuinely *enhances* the video. This is a superb combination, to me. Nicely done.
I'm sorry but I have to go along with the comments that make mention of the music. I would have loved to have 2.5 hours of nature walks with just natural sounds. The music is not offensive but it detracts from the vicarious experience of actually being in nature by means of the stunning visuals. I jumped forward to 1:08:40 and when I recognized the song "Windmills of Your Mind" I left.
Been walking all the Jed Smith trails since 1954, was a camp host 4 winters, lived at the east in of Howland Hill road, summer and winters. NOTHING compares to the magical silence sometimes broken by Ravens, Varied Thrush, Winter wren, Swainson’s Thrush and western dipper along Mill Creek and the Smith. The music is much easier to dub in than recording natural sounds. The video also ignores countless "stars" of the redwoods such as wildflowers, 5 types of ferns, banana slugs (up to 12 inches long!) wood rats, Spotted, Pygmy, Great Horned and migrating owls along with Steelhead, Salmon and cutthroat trout, all seen at variuous times of the year. Even the straight, clockwise or CCW fluting of bark and the early 1900s fire burned trees account for the "sheep pen" hollowed trees. MUCH more to be learned by listening to and SEEING what we record on modern videos. Good try though.
Nice video. If I get back that way I would love to hike this trail. I was in that National Park many years ago and it was very nice. I did not get to hike a trail like this one though.
Here's how to get nature sounds with this video. Mute this video. Open a second window and play different youtube video that has your favorite nature sounds. Minimize that screen. Watch this video. :) A no-hate solution. One of many.
Your post reeks of privileged... my Internet is not that fast. Many peoples isn't. Another solution is someone takes the constructive criticism and makes a video like they asked for. You brought the hate to this post with your damn mediating.
Geeker, you (and I) are purest; we love Nature without the Human intervention. Some of these people do not understand this. Thankfully, there are a few videos that are purely natural. Yes, I agree; they can keep the piano playing for videos of "Tours of Parisan Streets" or something.
25:30 ish. anyone get the vibe of Zelda 2 palace theme? I think I heard a few more subtle melodies that I recognized from somewhere, like bits that sounded like the final fantasy 6 mystical forest, rains of castamere from game of thrones 24:10. Really nice video btw. Id love to see some redwoods someday.
So relaxing...until the ad kicks in and blows your speakers and brain. Is there no way to make videos like this just banner adds? Not that I expect anyone else to care but when you've got a damaged nervous system that kind of shock when trying to relax to something like this rules out having sound on...
We have many subscribers and some of them like the background music, and some like the nature sounds. That is why we are creating videos both - with the music and without.
Nature doesn't need music, it makes it's own.
I'd have preferred a video that has no cuts, no edits, no music, no ads, no interruptions, just two hours of someone quietly hiking the National Parks trail in 4k UHD. A natural experience with natural sounds.
Maybe my channel could be perfect for you. Maybe not 2 hours long but anything else should describe my channel :)
Just A Walker done! Thanks, nice vids :)
THE LANDSCAPE HERE IS AMAZING, I LOVE IT, I WANT TO HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO EXPERIENCE THIS PLACE 💖💖💖 💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕
These are my favourite kind of video's. Just a beautiful walk in the calming nature. No talking, not just clips in 'stationary' places, just as if you were really walking here.
Dionne Visch whats wrong with stationary? If you walk through these forests and don’t stop every few minutes then you don’t know how to live
Great video! I personally would prefer to only hear the natural sounds that the camera picks up. I had to mute the music.

Awesome video destroyed by noise pollution - MUSIC

The red woods should be a national monument

Thank you for this video. It has been a tremendous help to me in a desperate time of need. It lives perpetually in my "Favorites".
Thanks for your kind words!

Breathtakingly lovely 🥰 thank you for capturing this!
Dear if we want music we can get it everywhere, we are looking for JUST Nature.
سبحان الله وبحمده jazzakha allahu khayran
My channel could be perfect for you then. ;)
I'm usually right along with the rest, in this case I have to disagree...

Beautiful scenery, but don't care for the music.

Beautiful…
Beautiful great work, was waiting to see a Sasquatch get caught on video lol. Majestic redwoods are something else.
Wow. What a great video concept.
thank you😊
One more beautiful iful video I can not watch because of piano:( please save natural sounds
very peaceful and beautiful but the ads were very disruptive music was beautiful
Very wonderful!!!*******
Nice video. If I get back that way I would love to hike this trail. I was in that National Park many years ago and it was very nice. I did not get to hike a trail like this one though.
💞🎼🦋🍀🥀🌿💐☺ merci ' superbe !
I love nature...but sorry the piano keeps me from relaxing and enjoying the real sounds I need to hear, the sounds of nature.
Superb!
Beautiful video but I wish you'd make one it with only nature sounds, I hate piano music

The Sticky Hippy what?
maybe the person who made this video made it for people who enjoy nature and piano music. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Nice palace
Please no music and no cuts . Just the ambience I agree with everyone.
Great
I wish I could do this myself
Are the trail shots done with a drone?
why not try this with no music except for nature sounds?
My neck of the woods, listen to my own music though....
Better at 2x playback speed, am I right?

🌷🌸🌻❤
anyway you could re-post with the nature audio? would actually watch this if that were the case...the piano, i feel takes away from the video, sorry.
I find the "Favorite Things" arrangement distracting. I assume it's been changed to avoid copyright issues, but it's discordant.
I thought the music an excellent and appropriate counterpoint to the visual. If you will pardon the pun, like corn flakes and milk. Ty.
I live near here.
Nice scenery, but why did you have to ruin it with music? Wasn't the sounds of the planet relaxing enough for you?
Looks like it drops to sub 1080 when there is movement... there’s better things out there
No music please
This would be bliss if you dumped the music for the ambient sound. mmmmm ...seems many are in agreement.
Absolutely. My channel is fully dedicated to only nature and its sounds. Beautiful enough in my opinion. :)
I wish it was without the music and you could hear the birds chirping
Ya " normally I would prefer no music and just peaceful nature sounds , but at least there's no humans walkin around..
So relaxing...until the ad kicks in and blows your speakers and brain. Is there no way to make videos like this just banner adds? Not that I expect anyone else to care but when you've got a damaged nervous system that kind of shock when trying to relax to something like this rules out having sound on...
music author ?
too many ads...
i think he looped i swear i saw that leopard tree twice
Please avoid music
Want to hear the real forest sounds

Speed up the footage and put some John Williams Jedi music to it, and then you'll have something.
