@@epicflail40ktacticsIve played 2 games since Pariah came out. Both were leviathan because local game store can’t get new mission deck. GW is out of stock across Australia it seems. I only know 1 person in my local area who got a copy.

Dropping a comment because you deserve more views. I feel like tau have all the right tools you talk about in this video. Good scouts, lots of infiltrators, good movement stats, small units for screening and scoring as well as aditional scouts in montka, redeployment in kauyon and uppie downie in retaliation cadre. Yet their win rate is sub 50% as far as i know. I know they have a respectable amount of tournament wins but why do you reckon their winrates over all are so mid?

I feel like tau are a punishing army if you make mistakes. Couple with not being as easy to paint as other factions so people dont jump to pick them up as much (like custodes or necrons - spray metal colour of choice, wash, done). So if they are strong in the meta that doesnt always translate to high overall win %.
I think it is a faction that requires patience and reps to learn. So you see some decent wins at events but they are not going to be picked up en masse for that reason as well.

Drop pods can do actions right? I’ve been putting 5 sternguard or Infernus marines and 5 Intercessors in each drop pod. Sending 2 from the heavens into areas I need to complete missions or steal objectives.
