    Incredible musician, and incredibly underrated Sublime contributor. Among many other things, Marshall played the drums on Sublime classics such as 'Date Rape' and 'What I Got'.

    I would love to see the band reunite with Jakob at the helm. I met Jakob's Grandmother, along with Bradley's half brother and used to take Piano lessons from Bradley's Mother... From what I have learned about the family and what I know about Jakob, he could be a great redemption for Bradley. In fact I would love to see Sublime + Jakob + Ras MG cover Bob Marley's Redemption Song in honor of the late Bradley Nowell. Let's kick this into gear folks!
    I have always appreciated music and grew up with a great Dad who exposed me to all of the classics. The music I was listening to in the 90's was good, but none of it struck my soul like the sounds and melodies of Sublime. Their music has so far stood the test of time and have never once given me the, "I can't believe I used to like this" cringe as I get with some of the other stuff we all used to listen to.
    I agree Bradley's death is a tragedy. Jakob with Sublime, with Ras MG and even just one show would be a great redemption for Bradley. From what I have heard and observed, Jakob is a straighter version of his Father and has, as far as I know avoided the same pitfalls as Bradley. His Grandmother is an absolute saint and loved by all who meet her.

      I know a girl who was with him at the time of death. I know her personally and take it for what it is worth, no conspiracy here. As I understood it, it was a hot dose purchased in Bullhead city. Could be BS but I've never know this girl to lie and she used to be a DragonFly model appearing in Surfing Magazine ads. I also know Bradley's Mom.

    • @MsNooneinparticular

      LOL really? We gonna start blaming his wife like w/ Kurt Cobain & Chris Cornell? Yay casual misogyny!
      There's nothing fishy about an addict who's been clean for a month OD'ing on potent heroin. His tolerance was down & several others in the area OD'ed on the same stuff. He might've done a larger dose than usual to get rid of the whole bag before seeing his wife/kid the following day. Least fishy death in history.

    • @amateuradventurer8185

      @WeLLaLbedamneD hot dose as he was dealing with an unfamiliar dealer. He did not take an excessive amount, but the dose was hot (not deliberately to harm, more like to cut it and gain more profit) and he reacted to it, killing him. You risk death every time you do heroin, this shouldn't be a surprise to anyone. He partied hard, used to pawn all his gear for a hit, so yeah I believe he was desperate to get a hit and got a bad one in an unfamiliar place. This is all here say

    • @amateuradventurer8185
      @amateuradventurer8185 4 года назад +4

      @WeLLaLbedamneD It sounded like any other day on and off the road. It's been a while since I spoke to her so I may not be remembering it all.... Ironically, I just lost a friend to heroin this morning... He wouldn't get help. Was a good liar too. Stay strong man. My friend didn't take a hot dose, he just had an IDGAF attitude and OD'd.. Stay strong, stay strong. I lost my aunt a few years ago to a relapse after 30 years, she was too old and weak from methadone and she couldn't handle it. I'll never understand it personally, but I know it must be so effing intense. Stay strong brother, I repeat stay strong... My buddy was at one time in line to be a fire fighter and scouted by the White Sox for his 90 mph accurate fastball. An injury killed that dream and set him on his path. I wish he had been stronger and at least leaned on me when I told him to.
