Fujita uses a Daiwa steez reel control rod which are the highest end Daiwa rods made to date. The technology is called compiled x nano plus, it’s literally a step above the blanks they use in there steez lineup. These rods are extremely expensive 1100-1300 US dollars which is insane. Also there were only like 15-20 rods that came into the country around the time of the bass master classic.
