@@tonytony123I’ll be enjoying my trip next month like the original comment. Paid off home and going g80 m3 shopping as soon as I get back. It’s called saving and making sacrifices
@tonytony123 I'm 36. I bought my first property when I was 20, I had a 16 year career already in one sector, and just finished my degree in June to start my second career. I also did all of this while caring for a chronically ill wife. I live in Vancouver, Canada and the cost of living here and real estate here would make you vomit. I am tired and have been working my ass off for 16 years, take your "let me tell you something about the world" comment and kick rocks bud.
Ya can't just leave us on a cliff hanger like that man. Its like an anime episode but seriously the ff evo look soo at home in japan it really looks like it belongs. Im sure we all already know this but the tokyo car scene is on a whole nother level everything just looks sick
Car culture in Japan is just so cool. Everyone is just into the builds and meeting to just chill and talk. The US scene is just terrible anymore. In my opinion. Absolutely love the vlogs
Too many degenerates in the US that don’t take pride in themselves or what they own which results in trashy meets filled with shitboxes and sketchy people.
I had the same no start issue with my wife's Evo 8. Turned out it was the ignition barrel getting loose and when turning the key to start the car, it would twist with the key and not trigger the starter. If memory serves me correct, pulling the steering wheel column trim will allow you access to a screw you can tighten to lock the barrel back into place. Try to keep key chains and anything heavy off your ignition key or it'll keep happening. Keep the vlogs coming 🫡
The Tokyo drift evo is sick but I loved your white evo. I know you sold it. But it sounded so freaking good. It was a clean build. All your builds are clean af.
100% the starter on the car, my Evo did the same thing. It can also be the solenoid wire at the starter, they sometimes come loose or break at the eyelet!
Loving the Japan content, as always! It's so cool to see your progression with learning Japanese, too. The first time you went there, you couldn't speak a lick of Japanese and had to have Masa translate for you. This trip, you've been talking to people everywhere, confidently, and it's so cool to see. The part at around 17:45 where you saw the sick Evo, were talking about it in English, then switched to Japanese when you found the owner and were asking him questions about the car, was amazing.
@@dustiinw No problemo Dut! I've been here for a while (right after you got your first apartment in California), and it's been so sick to watch your journey!
Man. Please, please. Bring more of this content, just cruising with the car on the streets. You will make me watch this video listening to Wangan Midnight songs, with the headphones. it made me smile. Daora de mais cara
This is one of your coolest videos yet. So awesome to see you driving through Tokyo with the evo with some amazing footage. I can't fathom how amazing it was to have the rain reflections on that rooftop
Tap the starter with a wrench or a hamer while trying to crank the engine. It will free it up and let you start the car. Still going to need to change it for a new one, though. Great to see you back in japan! Love your videos there.
Dammm Yessir!! Dustin so amazing you are living out the dream, let's gooo and the car culture in Japan has been so incredible to see. Always inspiring and joyful to watch the Japan videos bro.. sheesh!! Tokyo Drift Goals and Dreams 🤜🏽🔒🤛🏽...so Legendary this is definitely how you make a legacy.✌🏾😎🏎🏎💨💨💨💨 bless up fam #LifeGoals 🇯🇵
Rainy day in Japan is a good day to me lol 😅…. I had to pause the video when I saw that beautiful euro R that was very clean…. Wasn’t expecting that cliffhanger tho lol 😮
Thanks YT for recommending this video. Man what a nice Video, the athmosphere, the people and of course the cars. This was awesome, thank you. The R34 looks so sexy, damn.
I’m wondering if there are still a lot of cars I can see at Daikoku on weekdays, because I don’t have time on the weekend to go so I’m worried that there are not a lot of cars. Btw great video! Keep up the good work!
The adventure continues. Destiny has it to protect you and I'm sure something great will come from this starter issue. 🙏🏼. Great editing by the way. Love how you creativity used the right part of the music to enhance the clip vs just letting the music do it's thing.
As someone who deals with no starts for a living check 1. If the terminals are tight 2. Verify its at 12v try power windows going up if sluggish battery is too low 3. Tap the starter
Was very strange to see that yellow Peugeot 106 sat at a Japanese Car meet. 😄 Also every video I have wondered this. I wonder how many people that see the Evo realise it's the real one! 😂
I ran into the same issue recently with my Porsche. Check your battery connections. They tend to develop some white powdery stuff that prevent a proper connection. The starter doesn't get the full power of the battery. Cheers.
Its the ignition switch, common evo issue. Its a white switch with a single connector under the black steering wheel cover. It costs 75$. Takes about 15 min to swap. Mitsubishi superseded the part number which means they were aware of the issue and released the updated version.
This is the exact day I would do everyday in Tokyo. Game stores, arcades and food. Then daikoku and nights runs. This is what heaven looks like.
@@tonytony123 Maybe for you, some of us have fun and make money, no need to pay rent if you bought your own apartment / house

Damn. As a JDM fan I’m so jealous! It’s like a real life Wangan Midnight game lmao
Dustin is living his Tokyo drift dream, not just him but for all of us.

Germany sucks, too.
its not terrible in some places but it dosent compare to japan at all, too many thugs who dont care about others in alot of us meets tho sadly
Us car scene is scary a lot of kids with there dads money is driving crazy
Too many degenerates in the US that don’t take pride in themselves or what they own which results in trashy meets filled with shitboxes and sketchy people.
@@Sunburnae92 I think the worst problem are the people that call "Dad money" on young people having a nicer Car than their shitbox.

Love that video ! Your evo is so cool! Look almost exactly like the one in fnf tokyo drift
Im from Lithuania and i love Japans culture. 🎯
Got to meet up with Albo ! Great vid
The Evo is speechless no words to describe it’s supremacy

Some sick Evo’s at the end there 👌🏻now for some Evo wagon love !

stay killing it with the Japanese Dustin, you need a 360 cam for driving through Tokyo etc on the back of the evo.
Brings back so many memories, thank you.

Really love what you do brother!! You are an inspiration. Keep up the good work.
I'm in love with these videos thank you for making them for me to dream
I was definitely feeling the video the Pokémon game was a boost
Everytime I watch your Japan videos it feels like I'm there 💪🏾
I felt like I was watching clips from the movie when you were doing your night runs insane man
Dude!!!!! What a cliffhanger with the "to be continued". But im here for it bro.
Awesome content! Its probably already fixed but if the little black clip on the starter comes off it will have the same symptoms as a dead starter.
Over night parts from America.....the FnF plot twist we all needed.
😂😂😂
これはすごい!そして日本語喋ってるの可愛い😍
Akihabara, Daikoku, man I'd love to visit these places in person when I go to Tokyo one day 🙏

I aint gone lie! I really liking these quick Japan trips!👌🏾🔥
This has to be one of the coolest things anyone has done in history
This was so dope to watch great video!!!🔥i gotta visit there at list once in my life time😅
The fact that i still see the yellow peugeot 106 rallye over there is amazing. (I have crashed 3 of those and i have one since 2009)
A day without dustin and his car adventure videos is incomplete ❤
Either the clutch switch or the starter solenoid I’d say. Easy fix for both!
Damn this really makes me want to start working on my Evo again
It is still so crazy to me that the pa that you stopped at is the police station. Lol. You say it is one of the largest car meet spots still. So cool
Ohhh my GTR 😍 @gaijintuned !! Thank you very much Dustin ❤ My God I didn't see you that day
Wow that Tanabe G Medalion makes that R32 sound so good!
Was very strange to see that yellow Peugeot 106 sat at a Japanese Car meet. 😄 Also every video I have wondered this. I wonder how many people that see the Evo realise it's the real one! 😂
Last time i was in Tokyo, I saw that same red 86 covered in Waifus haha. It’s really cool reliving my trip through yours!
At least one positive you are in the right country for evo parts.
back with a banger and i havent even started watching yet
The people of Japan just know how to spec cars. Defo need a trip to Japan one day
Love the night meet runs🤌🏼
02:22 Tokoyami Towa AND Nakiri Ayame itasha at the same spot? VERY nice find

that black evo so clean n aggressive I love it

Dustin ILY my man. It clearly shows you are sad because of the battery but still keep a smiley face.
It looks like your ignition barrel is on its way out, very common with evos!
midnight wangan is my best arcade game but at the moment i could't fulfill it in real life
*thanks bringing us to JAPAN*
Another Fantastic Vlogs ever 👌
civic fd2r the best looking & the last real VTEC civic ever 🔥
That slomo works perfectly

Have the starter replaced then have the Aircon repaired while ure at it. Enjoyed this video. Saw many sick JDM cars!
