I'm not sure if it's just the fact that you're learning to speak Japanese, but your Japan vlogs are just DIFFERENT. The vlogs are so fun to watch, and watch you interact with everyone on your own is so good.
This. I remember the first set of Japan vlogs where he basically had to have Masa be his interpreter and knew little-to-no Japanese, and now he's basically got the language down (minus some of the more specific words for car parts and all the slang stuff). It's so awesome to watch his progression over the years.
I love the Tokyo urban landscape. I wish the US had more tunnels, bridges, and quality meets in parking decks, etc. Its just so different from what we're accustomed to here in the states. Brings back memories of playing Gran Turismo 2-4 growing up as a kid and driving all of the street circuits at night and taking photos on the game and uploading them onto a flashdrive to print out later. Hoping to travel there in 2024/25 and do exactly what youre doing...only I wont be driving in an R34 lol
no seriously man, i was stationed in japan and came back to the US, couple months ago and man, even the highway systems compared to the states, the road quality, and how they build buildings on hills unlike the US where we blow up hills for the buildings. Japans city planning is top notch
Good to see you didn't get lost. I love your Japan vlogs. They truly bring back memories of when I lived there. I can honestly still remember the smells and what it was like going into the side shops and restaurants. Your killing it.
Thank you for these incredible videos Dustin!!! I was able to buy an r32 GT-R here in England, nearly 2 years ago, and thanks to you and your videos, I am actually going to Japan in May for 3 weeks. Favorite YT channel, the passion for cars but also for the culture, which is a big part of our JDM life 🤘🏻 #madeittotheend
Finally!!!! The video that we've been waiting for so long!!!! Man, what a wonderful track day that you've experienced!!!! Racing at the most iconic race tracks in Japan, where Super GT/JGTC races from the old times even up to now!!! I must really say, that you've reached the real absolute dream of every car enthusiasts (whether you're into Japanese, European, or American car culture). This is indeed the bucketlist that you've achieved and I must congratulate you for that despite doing it on a kinda harsh condition!!! Dustin, this is the best video I've ever seen on your content and this thing showed up right after I woke up this morning!!! What a great start for my day!!!! Thank you so much my guy!!! Thank you for being an inspiration for all of us enthusiasts that are watching your contents!!!! Thank you for being genuine through showing your passion towards us and to many people as well!!! Good news that I might visit there next year which is January or between that month or April which is really soon!!! Hopefully I'd be able to visit there at Daikoku to witness the legit car culture there!!! I'm really excited to experience not just being into car, but the overall culture of Japan!! Hopefully I'd be able to see you there when I get there soon!!! Thank you man!!
I used to live in Yokosuka, Jp. as a Navy vet for 3 Yrs. I love seeing you use Japanese Language and be able to communication with the Japanese! The younger crowd respects that so much and it really shows that you're trying to commit in the culture.
Yo those laps around fuji looked NUTS on video, can only imagine how it felt in person! This was one of my favorite videos you’ve posted! Thank you Dut
Hey Dustin I’ve been binge watching all your vlogs and have to say you’re such a humble and sweet approach towards the camera man. Please keep it up and I’m so excited of what to see from you in the future of 2023. Happy new years and please protect Massa at all costs!!! That guy is something man. Y’all are just a solid duo. To more life!!
I feel so nostalgic watching these Japan vlogs even tho I never been there. Probably cuz we started to feel Japan through Ur vlogs. Pls keepup this awesome content. Edit: I just visited the vlog from 3 years when u first visited this PA. That was the first video I watched from your channel and that was the video that hooked me up into Japan JDM culture. I wish one day I will be able to visit this PA. Ty Dut.
One thing I take away from all the awesome cars and automotive shots of these videos is just how clean Tokyo is. For an urban environment you don't see any trash or liter around. It's amazing and something I wish the rest of the world strived for.
Good on ya for getting out there with the rain. Most people don't understand the risk and sketchiness that comes with doing that on track. Definitely a once in a lifetime experience in your dream car.
Dear Dustin you are living my dream! Safe to say you are my favorite RUclipsr right now! I'm obsessed with the huge areo tsukuba style time attack cars too. Not so much into drifting.
I’m so glad I stumbled upon your channel! Your videos are amazing and entertaining, and as a novice car lover, I’m definitely subscribing. I really enjoyed your video of the Tokyo night run. It was so much fun to watch you interact with people at Daikoku Night Meet and experience the car culture there. I also liked how the camera work let me see everything. I feel like I was right there with you, and it was an amazing experience. Keep up the great work!
#madeittotheend. Another great video in the Japan series Dutt! Really love how you show Japan and the culture and also the tradition. No one else captures Japans soul in their videos quite like you do and is making me want to go to Japan more than ever!
I used to love sport cars...i like speeding on the highway.... but since the accident last year..and my car is totally lost and i almost die.... luckily im survived... now im just a moderate driver in town...no speeding no tyre burn out haha...
For the first time on this channel, but I liked it so much. You are so sincere and alive, as if I had lived this day with you. Japan is incomparable and these machines, rather works of art, are pure pleasure. I'm from Kazakhstan myself, my dream is to visit Japan or stay there.
i will continue to say this, dustin's best video's have been at car shows and in Japan. Your japan vlogs always have me engaged. absolutely loved japan when I was stationed there. just seeing the culture and how nice everyone is.
#MadeItToTheEnd Your Japan vlogs are just different Dustin. I hope one day I'll make it to Japan because watching this series keeps inspiring me to push through and work my a** off so I can make dreams like this a reality. Keep pushing Dustin, you inspire many like myself to find a way to make their wildest dreams possible. Legends Forever! 🇯🇵🇺🇸
🔥🔥🔥🔥vlog and also 👍🏼👍🏼 for Tiana for being a super cool wife to let you travel to make these vlogs while she’s home taking care of everything while you away .
Can’t wait for you to have all gtr in your garage when it gets imported! Excited for you and this video was a chill vibe type of video 😎 #madeittilltheend

Living the dream bro 🙏 Your R34 is absolutely stunning , and sounds amazing , such a great car culture in Tokyo , and so passionate . Hopefully one day I’ll get they’re ! Always epic content bro , peace 🙏😎
Love the videos of the car culture in japan. Ive been 4 times now (here currently) and have only been to daikoku once. Im hoping to get there again this trip (but at night this time) and also visit top rank PDI center to look at a buddies R34 he just bought. Should be epic! Keep the Japan videos rolling!!! ❤
It's so cool to see the P.A. spots and surprising to me that they closed them. I've only see them in Assetto Corsa through the Shutoko Revival Project. Seeing it in real life really is such a treat. Hope the GTR's didn't sustain any damage from the Fuji run. Now you can add the track to the roster!🍙 🇯🇵#MadeItToTheEnd
Watched them all till the end! Man this is so awesome! I hope you find another special car that you cab buy and drive in Japan so we have more Japan vlogs in the future. Keep up the good work Dustin! Let’s gooo!🔥🔥 #MadeittotheEnd
It is no nice seeing car on rain and race track ... You'll see the flow of aerodynamics through raindrops and it's so relaxing + it's Japan landscape. Dang so nice

Keep up the good works Dustin! Your videos always inspire and encourage me that no matter how hard the life is, work hard to get through it. And dreams can always be come true~~ thank you Dustin~
No, thank YOU for making these videos! Every single one of them has a perfect vibe and they all feel like they’re over too soon! Which is only a good thing! #madeittotheend #masaiscool
About the language barrier. I forgot who exactly did it but they did a study about language barriers but if you share a common interest and are talking about said interest, the part of the brain that reads body language and facial expressions starts working like 12x harder and you start understanding what they’re trying to say. It was pretty interesting
All yall who are watching these videos and not hitting the like button what are yall doing 9k views and only 1.5k likes like come on Dustin's videos deserve 1mill likes.
#madeittotheend and i'm also bummed for your that it might be your last ride with the r34 GTR in Japan, but you are definitely right about new doors opening! I'm excited for the new project, watching tomorrow!

Truth. It’s his authenticity that comes thru. #madeittotheend
Might as well tell him you think he’s cute.
Even a comment like thus will grant you sir ..SUBS
Agreed!

lol playing Gran Turismo 😂😂😂 culture shock when u come to Asian countries man trust me
it is because they had to rebuild everything after the war. So that is why everything looks new.
Nah man you’re just living in the wrong states are roads are great
Good to see you didn't get lost. I love your Japan vlogs. They truly bring back memories of when I lived there. I can honestly still remember the smells and what it was like going into the side shops and restaurants. Your killing it.
