I love how these resellers say they profited like $30 but don’t include all the time or takes them, and the gas to get there and to the post office, eBay fees, and shipping fees and shipping materials And time! I don’t think it’s worth your time $30??
I paid $5 for a wicker mini bench in Habitat Store. I could get $25. I think but keeping. I am amazed at some of the stuff you can buy so inexpensive. They just want to move the stuff, I think. I missed a ceramic bowl woven like a basket with the fruit too. It was $3.00. I would have loved it. Looked on ebay, prices a lot higher, a lot!
Really depends on the target. I mean, I personally wouldn't spend $100 or more on a pair of jeans or $50+ on shoes but there's lots of people who do. And working in a thrift store, the amount of things we get from Hobby Lobby... Like a tiny decorative wooden picture we might sell for $2-5 and it's still got an original Hobby Lobby sticker for $25+
I loved this video, when I saw the bowl I cried. My great grandmother had the set of bowls like that, exactly like that. When she passed my mom got the bowls. This lit up my day thank you
I'm in Australia and got a few pyrex casserole dishes with lids about a week ago from a house cleanout of an aunty going into aged care. Cousin never looks and she was about to throw them out. There was also a rococco high temperature glass plate.
I have the green bowl that I won't sell. Memories of Mom and I making hundreds of Christmas cookies through the years ages ago. My friend has the whole set
I just bought that 4 piece Pyrex set for 7.99. I liked it because it looks vintage. I need to start selling my finds. But need to get more info on how much shipping cost.
I had one of big those wicker chairs growing up & I want it back been wanting one for years & there's a baby chair I want that one to probably a couple of them because they would be very cute plant stands 💯❣️
Hey I checked out that yard sale. Ran from the Michigan part down through some of Ohio. It happened at the worse time too. I had just got a bonus at work so I had unaccounted for money that my wife called dumb spending money.
I found a 200& vacuum and bought it for 20$. A 600$ 50 in tv for 89$. A 800$ 3 screen computer screen frame with screens and cords and all working - for 75$ A 300$ black powder musket for 83$ And a 1400$ alien computer desktop for 45$ All of them still work today as I use them to stream and game
my mom does the same thing but she does she sells stuff that she finds that are a lot of money that is on sale and then sells it for a high Price it's easy money
It is so hard to find Pyrex Primary bowls at yard sales these days. I have two sets (one white glass and the other clam broth glass) and we use them all the time. Unfortunately, with regular usage come occasional breakage, and I have been looking for a replacement red bowl for a couple years now. I know I could buy one online, but that's no fun.
Can't believe how people can sell things for so much $ in this yard sale! All the yard sales I've seen had to sell things for $5.00 or less, no matter what it was! I just make donations of my items to Goodwill, Salvation Army, etc. 🤷♀️
My mother has a collection of fenton glass shoes she has A LOT and they all have to gold sticker in the to so there worth a lot of money she said they would be mine one day and that I could do what I want with them and sell them if I ever needed money real bad so what am says is look for Fenton glass it can sell for a lot of money lolll
Omigosh I had some of those wicker chairs as a kid. I used them for my American girl dolls lol
I remember the chair my mom had one
SAME ❤
My grandma had one in her living room, she would always put stuffed bears on them and it would be a different bear every time we would visit!
I can't think of better use for them lol
Those wicker chairs are not $20
You turned it into a POTENTIAL $40-$45. At the moment, you’re just $7 in a hole
It's not a profit until you got money in the bank. Agree.
Not to mention, storing all this shit. I wwnt to a woman's house who does this sorta resell stuff, it was hoarder level.
And you don't earn anything until/unless your boss pays you. Duh!

You can cover all that expenses with a 9-5. 😐
To each his own

Proof you can sell seeds to a tree

My mom would have snatched that bowl SO fast. She LOVES Pyrex bowls.
I have the green bowl that I won't sell. Memories of Mom and I making hundreds of Christmas cookies through the years ages ago. My friend has the whole set
That's definitely worth keeping then! 💜
I have the set, too!!! Memories of Mom!!! Priceless!!!❤️
The original owner can do the legwork and get the cash but often they don't have the time or energy and just need the stuff gone.
One man's trash
is another man's treasure
I just bought that 4 piece Pyrex set for 7.99. I liked it because it looks vintage. I need to start selling my finds. But need to get more info on how much shipping cost.
I’d bet you I could show this man a random fork my uncle owns and he’ll tell me the full history and that it can sell for 100$
These garage sales are way different from my mom's, she sold a ps3 for 5 dollars.

@@madisonwilliamson i meant what i said, my mom sold a play station 3 for 5 dollars
@@jesudsgames7976 :,(
I have that chair lying around in my house lol

That t-shirt at the end was maximum cringe.
I was glad he ripped that guy off.
Absolutely.
Dudes make it their entire personality to worship a gross orange old man.
Yup
I think this is the 127 yardsale. Goes from alabama to michigan, I think.
My mom still has that chair! It had a pretty little bear with a pearl earring and a ruffled floral dress on.
Russell Springs, Kentucky. Straight through town! And I collect Vaseline glass. Biggest collection in Kentucky pretty sure. I'm addicted.
One time I went to a yard sale and I found an entire set of uranium glass kitchen ware
I used to have one of those chairs 😭
Nostalgia hitting me fr-- rn
Gonna go cry 🥰
I like this guy. He's a real opportunist.
I have that set of Pyrex bowls

@@thriftersifter your welcome! ❤️
Oooh. The green pyrex. Great find.
My mom still has the yellow and green Pyrex bowls from the 70's still in great condition.
I had one of big those wicker chairs growing up & I want it back been wanting one for years & there's a baby chair I want that one to probably a couple of them because they would be very cute plant stands 💯❣️
I'm using that Pyrex set right now!!!
I got distracted but was that a yarn spinner in the background 👀
*gasp* yes, a SPINDLE! That's so exciting! 😄😄😄 I wonder if it's still in working condition? 🤔🤔🤔
@@Ilikebunnies-metoo same, I know right I was wondering if it was in working condition too🙂
I guarantee they're asking too much for it
@Sour Kraut Bratwurst could be. Or they could be really desperate to get rid of it and they'll take almost any offer :)
Hey I checked out that yard sale. Ran from the Michigan part down through some of Ohio. It happened at the worse time too. I had just got a bonus at work so I had unaccounted for money that my wife called dumb spending money.

That teapot, soup tureen and cast iron pot are all probably worth just as much, if not more than the green pyrex...
My mom had a green bowl from grandma! She was so sad when it broke.
I have the biggest yellow Pyrex bowl & use it all the time
I saw the bowl was like “hey! I know that bowl I have the whole set!”
My beloved grandma bought me that pyrex set.
Love those bowls. We still have a large one
