Joselyn- Those are Venetian-African Trading beads and are very valuable! They were popular here in the US in the 70’s…high school kids would buy a couple of beads and make a cool necklace. Kinda hippie. Your large string could be worth $100, or more. That was an exciting find!

The 300000 on the beads could well be an old price tag from Italy. In 1999 the euro became unit of account in italy at the time 1 euro was worth 1936,27 italian lira so the 300.000 would have been 155 euros back then but ofcourse the tag could be much older. If your beads are real antique venetian millefiori beads their value is in the hundreds of USD or EUR. The real deal is hard to mix up with play-doh, especially for a glass connoisseur like you😊

The ball in a pottery dish thing is a stamp or envelope licker. You pop out the ball, put some water in the base, then twirl the ball to get a thin layer of water on it to run your envelope adhesive strip or stamp over to put on your envelopes.

I also watch Lady Mary Beth and she is an expert on Waterford. What I have learned is that most are etched Waterford somewhere, not always on the bottom. A seahorse is their logo. And all Waterford has a 16 point star on the bottom if it’s a receptacle of some kind. The most valuable are those crafted by the master glass blowers and are usually signed by them and are worth a pretty penny. I thought the measuring jugs were by Majolika?

01:30 Trade beads strung on what looked like raffia. The beads themselves may be Italian, made for the African market. They used to send the messy ones down there and now it's a "look" that's sought out in its own right. BTW - did anyone else see another one of those pieces of "drum" glass on the shelf?

I think the two clear glass pieces at 6:30 are miniature / "toy" butter dishes. Seems like I've seen similar ones in books about toy children's glassware of the late 1800s/early 1900s. Although those look like they could be relatively new - recent reproductions? Not sure! I wonder if they show any faint base wear (tiny scratches etc) on the bases?

Oh and the blue drum and eagle cup looks to be a repro of Westmoreland Specialty's 'DRUM AND EAGLE' pattern. The only example in the EAPG Database, shows only clear with gold. It may be a repro of their own, though, meaning Westmoreland (AFTER the Specialty ended lol) did it much later in colors. I will check my child/toy glass books.

I don't see the blue in my books. I even checked my Westmoreland books.
