    Oh my goodness - thanks for the shout-out! And for your very kind and lovely comments. I've been enjoying your podcasts because, like you, life can be pretty isolated in the winter and your enthusiasm for your farm, your wool and your WIPs is contagious.

    Hello Ladies! I found you through the Wet Coast Wools Podcast. I am binge watching from Episode 1 forward. I am from Dartmouth but living in Calgary. Didn't realize that Stash stocks your product. I will run over there for a peek and hope to visit your PEI location on my next trip home. Thanks for being YOU! 👧😊

    Hello from California! I raise Shetland and my sheep are always so clean after a good rain and breeze. Definitely not clean like yours with hay feed year round. Would personally love to see longer (time) or more zoomed in close ups of what your showing- yarn, wips, fos, the brooch your mom made bc they're awesome! With the knit podcasts I get in the knitting groove and look up at the screen too late and miss the picture. I would have enjoyed the watching the skirting bit a tad longer bc watching it is meditative. I'm glad to have found another great podcast in addition to Fruitty Knitting!

    I stumbled across your vlog by way of Fruity Knitting...I love what you’re doing! You’re incredibly brave in all that you’ve taken on! What a wonderful idea to have your vet come on - wonderful to see a woman with a large animal practice. All in all, so impressed and grateful to have found you! Good grief - I’m “fan-girling” ;) Best regards from Ottawa!

      The Wee Sew n Sew Knitting Podcast I think someone saying they might want to try more natural wool because of our podcast is pretty much the best compliment we can possibly get. We are so passionate about this “sheep thing”. We are out in the barn at all hours of the night for part of the year, (and work very long days all year long) so we must be! Comments like yours keep us going. Sheep and wool, just as they are, are pure magic. 😘

    Happy New Year! You both are such a hoot 😂 Wow you totally made my day! Thank you!!!
    I thoroughly enjoy your podcast!Your projects are absolutely gorgeous!
    I also enjoyed the skirting process and I have a new appreciation in the many steps it takes to produce a skein of yarn.
    I am drooling over the new Eldon collection. The colour-way Vineyard in your shawl shows great stitch definition and colour saturation 😱😍. I look forward to the next podcast.

    Simone does beautiful work. I have asked her in the past where she got the pattern for such and such and she tells me "just made it up from my head"! She absolutely amazes me with here patterns! But then I ten to be biased! lol!

    Lovely podcast. My husband is even interested in your segments on how the wool is "made"! Love the finished Hearth shawl and I'm intrigued by how you plan to wear it with the button. Hope you'll show us the final finished object. I wear cloth/pashmina style shawls all the time but I'm thinking this one would be too heavy for my normal indoor wear. Have to think on it some more. Thank you for all your efforts to source Canadian and sustainable.

      We will DEFINITELY show it with the button, it's actually already on there, so we will bring it next recording day! That's so great that husbands are watching, that's the gold standard for a knitting podcast if you ask us!!!! :-)

    I had no idea that was how the RUclips algorithm works. I am so glad they sent me your podcast. I would love to visit you guys one day. I am from Australia and my uncle had a sheep station - I used to go out there to work for them on my holidays. I wouldn't do it now I am vegan, but I would pay for a working holiday on your farm. Is it correct to assume you don't eat your animals?

    So happy to see a new episode and all of your lovely projects! Have you said in another episode (perhaps I missed it) how many sheep are in your flock? And are they all Corriedale? It's getting so hard to find new Corriedale bloodlines, I'm always curious ;)
    Thank you for putting your yarn and wool and knitting out into the fiber world!

    • @FleeceHarmonyPodcast
      @FleeceHarmonyPodcast  5 лет назад

      My Wool Mitten hello! We have a few registered Corriedales but mostly Corriedale crosses! It IS hard to find new lines and truthfully, our first ram didn’t really have the fibre quality we were looking for, so we have been crossing them. However, some new Corries have moved to Nova Scotia recently, so we are looking into some different genetics. We keep about 60 spoiled sheep here on our property! 💜

    Hello, enjoying your podcasts. There are so many podcasts out there so but I find I am limiting myself to ones where I learn something such as a technique,a product or in your case , wool production. I have a question about your waiting for rain shawl, are you holding two strands together or alternating them?

    • @FleeceHarmonyPodcast
      @FleeceHarmonyPodcast  5 лет назад

      Susan Burke what good comments! There ARE a lot of podcasts and we are trying to be very cognizant of adding value! Fruity Knitting is our favourite for that reason as well! Good question about the two balls! I am just alternating. I’ve gotten burned not doing that with hand dyes too many times, sometimes you get away with it...but sometimes you don’t and then you are very far along when discovering that! So now I just follow the best practice!

    Thanks for a “local” knitting podcast (I’m in Quebec). I was wondering, out of curiosity, if the mohair you source from Ontario was “Les Belles Bouclettes”? I can’t wait to see your lovely yarns in N.B or Quebec! Good day! & happy 🧶 !
