The time, and effort spent making it has already been spent. So leaving it behind is actually more disrespectful than just buying it secondhand. Youre saving it from the dump while also not supporting the brand itself. as long as the quality is good, ill ALWAYS snatch up a cute shein piece when thrifting :) edit: though I understand where people are coming from when they mention specific designs. Shein is known for stealing designs from small businesses so that is something to keep in mind, but thankfully everything I've found so far have been fairly generic pieces (plaid skirts, simple slip dresses, etc)
