What are you most excited about for in this hero pack?!
I am very interested in the player side schemes so I think Cable. Then Psylock. But who am I minding I’m excited about all of it.

It’s a good thing Aerial intervention is not a defense event bc that would make “you” angel in this case the defender. But if you defended with an ally you couldn’t play this card. If I’m understanding the defense rules correctly.

Unpopular opinion but I like cards not necessarily having limits. Those big moments in a long game are my favorite part of the game.
I love that take! It does feel super epic to hit a huge bring it!
Ant-Man is my favorite hero, so I’m very excited for Angel just for the multi-hero form flips. In fact, I bought a pack of side-loading sleeves just for Ant-Man (and Wasp), so I don’t mind getting an extra use for that pack. I also like what they’re doing with Aerial. I could see Angel being a top-5 personal favorite hero for me.

Angel looks absolutely awesome, I just wish they would stop doing these oversized folding cards. I don't know why they didn't just do Angel, Antman and Wasp as 3 separate cards like Ironheart.
I get it more for Ant Man and Wasp - Angel I feel like they could have done two cards, this is a way to have one AE and two hero forms. I think its cool, but it is pretty tough to store/use!
@@NelsonAllOverCards Yea I definitely get the flavour for Antman and Wasp but I just don't think it's practical and I end up never using Antman and Wasp just because their hero cards annoy me so much lol.
I could see this landscape format for Ghost Rider on his bike and the second hero format where he’s just on foot being a badass.

I prefer 3 separate cards. You sleeve them, you play them and happy happy
Angel looks like a lot of fun. So many possible paths to build around. Pslocke could be a great addition to the vultron deck. With Inspiration and Side arm, she's hitting for 3 dmg every turn. Or put her in an agression build to give Archangel extra attacks. Super good options. Even in protection, you can turn her into a ready machine. And all that's just on his signiture ally. Let alone how good the rest if his kit it is. I'm excited.

Taunt is also gonna be awesome for spider ham. Honestly the new side scheme too.

Another character im excited for, each of the upcoming heroes seem unique and awesome. The focus on aerial events is interesting and i like the idea of him having 3 forms

@Nelson All Over Cards he has his own built in honed technique in archangel form. If you were to have honed out as well, dive bomb could hit for 15
@@rustybray8361 And then you could recur it with Avian Anatomy and do it again next turn!
@@NelsonAllOverCards if you're able to get marked onto a minion before playing dive bomb and have it prepped the turn before, you could potentially otk almost any villain stage

I know Angel is OG, but getting him before Nightcrawler bothers me to no end.

He looks great, my only concern is that it seems like it will be hard to justify playing an aerial build with any other hero since Angel would probably do it better.
I can totally see that! I can also see aerial being a splash for some heroes rather than a build around

I love when they take the characters I'm least excited about and give them super fun and fresh mechanics. Now if we can only get Nightcrawler

Been my favorite superhero since X2 came out. Once we get Nightcrawler I may not play anyone else...
Also played heroclix in those days. I had the Nightcrawler chase. He was the best thing in the game at the time.
I want him mostly for deckbuilding :3

Aw bummer, I havent played Wasp/Ant Man too too much, but they havent shown much wear and tear yet. Hopefully its not a big issue in the future!

Ive always loved the character and cant wait to play him. Just hate we'll be kinda punished for using him in his Archangel hero form. Acceleration on the scheme is no fun.
Very true, hopefully it wont be too painful and we can always flip to Angel to help with that thwarting!
