In my opinion, "Rewrite The Stars" was my favorite out of all the songs from The Greatest Showman. It was delightfully heartwarming to see Zac and Zendaya singing together as a duo.

‘A Star is Born’ is definitely a great movie.
Music icon, Grammy award winner and actress Lady Gaga did a wonderful job. ‘A Star is Born’ won an Oscar in 2019.

Thanks for giving "Sing Street" more love and recognition. Its songs are really catchy, yet they weren't even nominated for Best Original Song at the Oscars.

The Greatest Showman and Matilda the Musical are both great musicals.
I'm in love with Tick, Tick Boom! It's a masterpiece of storytelling, directing, and cinematography. And such a great cast! That and Greatest Showman are my two favorites from this list.
I didn’t know of Tick, Tick Boom! before seeing the movie version but it absolutely blew me away. Andrew Garfield is a treasure and that musical is amazing.
The other one that comes out on top for me was In The Heights. The colors and direction there were fabulous.
Musicals are so underrated.

Andrew Garfield should have won on Oscar for Tick Tick Boom. He became Jonathan Larsen, just watch any video of the real Jonathan and you can see how closely her portrayed him.

The Greatest Showman and Pitch Perfect were the ones that took me by pleasant surprise the most. I usually don’t find circus acts or acapella appealing. But I thought I check them out for the soundtracks. I didn’t expect to get fully blown away by either movie though. So I’m still glad years later I did.
I really enjoyed "Rocketman", it was an invigorating story, and Taron Egerton did a phenomenal job as Elton John.
When I found out Taron was going to play Elton after singing I’m Still Standing as Johnny, I had to see it just for him.
These movie musicals are certainly impactful. They’ve brought out the best in all of us.
The first live action movie musical I ever loved was Mary Poppins. But it was The King & I, Sound of Music and High School Musical that made me crave for more.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for ranking Sing Street so high on your list! Not only one of my favourite movie musicals, but one of my favourite movies, full stop. Here is hoping the musical that was scheduled to open on Broadway in 2020, still has legs.

The song by Elton John I can't help but sing to is I'm Still Standing. As Elton John Live performs on stage I watched him on my big screen at my house and sang my favorite songs with him.
It’s been over a year since The ‘West Side Story’ remake (directed by the legendary Steven Spielberg) came out and it is absolutely impressive.
God we have been SO well fed in musical movies these past few decades! & love the varying degrees of them too! 🥰🎶
The Greatest Showman should have been higher.

the greatest showman should be higher and the rocketman soundtrack is a masterpiece even Elton being a cultural treasure and a timeless icon, Taron really did an amazing job and i enjoy more the songs from the movie than the originals & he should sing more

A star is born will literally turn you into a tear machine and the F-ing album is a banger!
I love a star is born but disagree about the album, I beleive quite a lot of it is just random spoken lines from the film which is just wierd. Do adore the music though

Really? Still a first for the director. From his work, he’s done dramas, adventures and action. I couldn’t believe it when I saw the trailer but after seeing the movie, it was very well done

I can't believe The greatest showman is the last one in the list. Some people complain because of the story to the real P.T. Barnum but the movie and the musical part is a complete masterpiece

A Star Is Born has my heart forever
The wonderful "Sing Street" was the very first movie I thought of when I saw the title of this video, but I figured it didn't stand a chance of making this list. Yet there it is at #2! Well done!
I watched The Greatest Showman about 5 times when it shows in theaters 😅 some of the higher rank on the list is too depressing to watch more than once (except Pitch Perfect of course)
I’ve seen West Side Story twice but I know what you mean. And I saw the Greatest Showman 7 or 8 times in the last five years

You could have gone earlier in the decade and included “Into the Woods” and I think “Les Miserables.” (Yeah, I know that last one is debatable, but it still has some great musical moments.)

Unfortunately I didn’t have popcorn when I saw Sing, Kubo & The Two Strings, A Star Is Born (2018) and Mary Poppins Returns in a certain movie theater

How are the original Mama Mia not on this list, and The Greatest Showman number ten? Both of them are strong candidates for nicer one.
The original was released in the decade before plus in my opinion is pretty dire. Much prefer the sequel (largely due to the fact that I much preferred Lily James in the role than Meryl Streep)

I recently watched Sing Street. It was slow in the beginning, but when it took off, it was amazing 🤩
I love Pitch Perfect and A Star Is Born, but I wouldn't call them musicals. They're movies, and they have characters performing music as part of the story, but the songs are existing _in the universe of the movie,_ and they're just being performed in-universe rather than used to tell the story. Sorry to fans who disagree, but that's kind of a key aspect of musicals.

A Star Is Born was absolutely phenomenal!! Both Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga totally nailed their roles! I can't believe that this movie won only one Oscar and lost to an average inaccurate biopic about a legendary band!

Taron Edgerton was robbed of the Oscar for Rocketman!! It was unfortunate that it was released a year after Bohemian Rhapsody hence there was no hype for it. It was better than Bohemian Rhapsody.

Rocketman isn't a biopic. Elton John and Taron Egerton have both stated that it is fantasy movie inspired by his life.
I think Across the Universe doesn't get enough appreciation. I do think it is an honorable movie musical.

Bohemian Rhapsody should have definitely been on the list. But then again sex and drugs sell. It was not a huge point in the life of Queen as much as it was in the life of Elton John
