Ark of the Covenant project, and Egyptian theme for Halloween 2022

I’ve always wanted to be Indiana Jones for Halloween, but I can’t go as Indy if I don’t have an Ark. I found a guy in California who sells Ark pieces. So when I got back from Egypt I started building it. I had to learn how to use automotive paint, and other skills I’ve never used before. It definitely felt like a big engineering project, and I put those skills to work. So halfway through this project I decided to go with a full Egyptian theme. I literally finished everything a few days before my big party. I can tell people I found the Ark while I was in Egypt. Not sure yet if I want to take it all down tomorrow…
