- Shadow Venusaur has always been apart of the Great League Meta in Pokemon GO and today it helps me climb in rating! I'm pairing Shadow Venusaur with Lanturn and Dewgong, making for a very strong ABB Great League Team for GO Battle League!

You have an interesting team to say the least
I use steelix to gain switch even if I use 2 shields. People are overwhelmed by oppressive BS and DT so they switch. It worked for me until I reached expert
Dang a best buddy Basti??! You have a lot more patience than I do my friend - I could never BB a Basti because I already know it’s gonna have the absolute SLOWEST “walk into frame” animation of all time when I’m trying to give it berries and I just won’t be able to deal 3+ times a day for a month straight lolol 😂

I was running a grass double water team too! Except I run whimsicott, Toxapex, & greninja.. couple 5-0s with that team but this one looks good as well!

Can i use regular Venusaur on this team instead? (as i do not have the shadow one)
I faced this team last night and lost to it. It was in the 2500s elo and I was pissed because I had a Gligar in my team that loses to both Pokemon in the back. I won Switch with Venusaur but I gave up a shield because I could feel there was something that beats Gligar in the back, but it was two Pokemon.
Thought this was quite a decent team, especially for that elo range. No wonder it was Zyonik who came up with it lol
Water gun is just like a water type Bite - it just tears through opponents. Had success with the same team except Serperior on the lead - still got clapped though by fire or flying leads, opponents always had an answer to either my Lanturn or my Dewgong

Ran this team with shiny shadow lapras instead of lanturn for the last two days. Sometimes switched venu for DD as well

I ran the same team randomly it was soo good till 2 sets which went 4-1, 4-1
But then i started getting hard countered 4-1, 5-0 sets
I went 8/25 and 10/25 the past 2 days. Dropped almost 2300 elo running the same few teams due the INSANE hard counter and core breaking matchups. Zero win cons. PvP algo is TRASH
I had a perfect pvp iv Seel but i accidentally powered it up too high 😭
what would be a good replacement for dewgong?

I've been running the same exact backline, except with Serperior up front and spark lanturn... I might try this and see if it works with regular Venu!! And definitely gonna try water gun now. Thanks for the wonderful content as always ❤

What would you say the best team is at the moment
The one that can handle the meta and that you feel very confident with, even in tough situations. Because every team has a counter to it, so having confidence and comfort with your team will be the best option. You get that through practice and repetition.
