It's not exactly ethical but you can tank your rank into nothingness, then win 5 battles on a premium raid pass to get 6 charge tms. (Which is probably what Niantic is hoping you do)

I’d imagine it might make it a decent niche pick for certain special cups but I probably wouldn’t bet on it being anything more than a spice pick in open leagues. Even with Shuriken its charge move pool is just awful. Who knows though, other moves getting updated and shifting meta might make it shine more. If they do give it WS I’d love to see them give Accelgor Sludge Bomb or Drain Punch aswell which might help.

So I solely run lantern and I only built it because of gren is the back, lower elos but I run it with shadow d-nite lead and dubwol safe switch and I've had pretty good success with it lol
All my meta GL shiny ‘mon are weak to Fairy. 😅 Altaria, Medi, Ninja. I have a shiny G-Slowbro for an ABB but it’s no Nidoqueen.. G-Bro, Medi, Ninja seems fun at least. Ima try to make that work after I steal this team for a few sets 😀

Won around 300-350+ Elo yesterday with this frog in the Ultra League and now I’m on the 2600 range. It’s wild. The frog is on a mission to break all those Giratina/Jellicent -Charizard/Cresselia cores. Even Pidgeot leads don’t want the smoke from the mighty frog.
My A-Tales, Lanturn core is VERY happy you're showing people this team. Yes, definitely dont be afraid of my backline, i "definitely" have a Jellicent in the back...totally 😜
I tried your usual team with dewgong instead of umbreon. Had very good results also. But I will try this one (as many people will sadly 😅) to manage Medicham a bit better. As many of us, I am totally in love with that « new » frog 😍 That’s exactly the Pokemon we needed to refresh the meta. BTW, you’re such a mind reader 🤩🤩🤩 I still have to work on it, especially during the battles. Good mind games 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Defense Deoxys, shadow/ regular alolan marowak, and greninja, if facing a ton of grass and fighting types has worked wonders for me recently. Might be worth a try.
Hey guys in how many games in row you have been hard countered? I have streak around 25 games in row when oponent have flyier on start vs mine medicham 😂
There is also an advantage to be had by having a slightly attack weighted greninja that still hits the important bulk points. I got one that wins almost al cmp ties with bulk focused greninja's but still has the bulk needed for important match ups. Swagtips made a great video about greninja stats a couple of days ago that goes into more depth
@DFasey true and factual, just like how a team that matches its colours is more favoured by the algorithm so you always hard counter opponents, it's a really cool mechanic
I had a bunch I evolved because I wasn't sure what would be more effective. I use the pokegenie to see the ranking but that's just for total stats? 0,8,15 rank 21 or a 3, 12, 14 rank 39 and a 6,15,15 rank 51 were my best finds
@@FurTV18 actually no. I will gladly show you my account. It’s the only rank 1 shiny I have for great league. My second closest was a shiny rank 3 wailord I got forever ago. I have a shundo Palkia I got from gbl so that’s technically shiny rank one but I don’t have any shiny rank 1 for ultra league and Palkia is my only shundo. Sometimes you really do just get really lucky!

(Also pgsharp is extremely easily detectable never use it even as a cheater apparently) If it’s a what for me. I found about a pretty good core that people should use. I got about 250+ rating yesterday with a Greninja and Venusaur core and having Gliscor as a safe swap
I just beat this team with Greninja on the lead, Umbreon safe swap and pelliper in the back. It came down to Umbreon v Umbreon fast attacks but I came out somehow 😂
I hadn’t seen a charmer all season… I decided to try this team out, double counter, double charm, or a mix of both 12-15 matches 😂😂 thanks algorithm no legend this season
I used skeledirge toxapex and greninja and it absolutely smacked. I replaced dirge with shadow feral and I went off. Only problem was the stupid lanturns. I swapped into a ferrothorn with greninja and toxapex. That team is amazing.

In the main series games, Accelgor can also learn Water Shuriken. Would this make him viable?

It has a decent charge move pool with Acid Spray, Focus Blast, and Bug Buzz. Acid Spray is a good bait move.
