@@Reel-Time-Adventures good morning sorry to bother you again I been trying to find a way to get to the Assateaque island side of the inlet jetty and fish never been not even sure if your allowed too Do you know if allowed too and know of any captains who would be willing to drop wife and I off on that sand bar for a coke hrs and then come get us
Nice catch! How do you know when and where striped bass are? I just got skunked today.
Never really know when and where, just gotta be at the right place at the right time! I get skunked too. Just keep trying!
Hey buddy what is the spot you are at in this video? Where in assateague?
I was on the OSV section of Assateague Beach. There are tons of good spots. Just look for the cuts and troughs in the water.
@@Reel-Time-Adventures much appreciated brother!
No problem! Good luck!
Are you fishing low or high tide? And what weights are you using?
You could fish either tide, but I prefer the incoming. Weight depends on the surf/current. It could be up to 10oz.
What rig is that? I’m down in OC for vacation for a week and I’m planning on fishing at assateague island
I was using a fish finder rig. Good luck!
@@Reel-Time-Adventures Thanks man.
Monster, Spring or Fall?
They were caught in the spring!
Good Afternoon Do you do any guiding on Assateaque
Guiding is illegal on Assateague because it is a wildlife refuge.
@@Reel-Time-Adventures thanks was just curious we’re coming down in 2 was what would be biting on the beach if you don’t mind me asking were from WV
The recent surf report has been Black Drum, Red Drum, Striped Bass, and Blue fish.
Sand fleas, crabs, and cut bait are your best options to use.
@@Reel-Time-Adventures thank you

Nice. But don’t let the fish touch the sand if you’re going to release it.
Don't understand why surf fishermen walk backwards away from the fish I've seen so many fish pop off right in the surf and get away
Backing up keeps the line tight, to help prevent the hook from coming out.
