Tears r just flowing after watching this .I'm unable to find apt words to appreciate this presentation...like i once said I see sakshaath nataraja swamy in parasnath ji n what a special god's creation akshatha is...she seems to hv been born just to uplift this great Indian classical dance form... What beautiful music n wonderfully rendered by the whole team of musicians... And d choreography as always is so so so extraordinaryly creative..... Just want to say...this video is a treasure to hundreds of generations to come n it's an absolute treat to the soul.... God bless the whole parwanath upadyay ji team 🙏🙏🙏
By the end of the margam, as Parshwanath sir's Himavan lulled the little Parvati (Akshatha) to sleep, I was nothing less than shaking, because this entire presentation had left me STUNNED! This has to be my first time watching a Bharatanatyam Margam to Hindustani music; if ever, I've only seen single items like Shankara Srigiri set in Bharatanatyam. And this unprecedented use of such music complemented the bhaava of the presentation perfectly, when the long, haunting aalaps in the varnam showed the haunting sadness that the childless Himavan was anguished by. The highlight moment of the presentation was definitely "Vande Guru Paramparam" when you seemed to hand over "gyaan" to your disciple, reminding us to stay closely connected with our gurus, our true inspirations and guides. Parshwanath sir, you are just so fluent with your abhinaya, a literal epitome in the same! Your transition from an imaginative Himavan who was preparing to welcome home his daughter to one who went into despair at the click of reality was perfectly slow-cooked, not abrupt, putting out for us the sinking reality you were unable to come to terms with. Dramatic irony at its finest. The second moment of your emotions shifting, this time with speed, was when Himavan and Parvati sat after a good, somewhat terrifying game in the jungle, and you were astounded, emotional about the thought of your daughter's marriage, and amused by her innocent yet courageous self. Akshatha, a budding star, may Tripura Sundari indeed grace you with success and happiness for your future! You used your childlike quality of curiosity to the fullest and materialized the lessons you learnt into a dancing style of your own. You were a true manifestation of Lalita, playful yet powerful. And that made you the perfect fit for Suta!

She is now what is called the epitome of a child prodigy such perfect lines, anga shuddi, graceful yet powerful hand movements, and abhinaya to match her Gurus. All the credit goes to the Guru. Music and choreography also so uniquely done and beautiful.

This performance has a special place in my heart from here on anna :) I especially loved the elements of comedy that were incorporated...I, as an audience and as a dancer, travelled with you all through the act. An immersive choreography, great dancers, a melodious orchestra and an amazing light management has constituted this...and I am very fortunate to have witnessed it! I'd also like to appreciate the addition of Vachika into the recital, it was very innovative!

Exemplary job indeed. - Creativity : Superb - Music : Composition is so beautiful and the singers are just beyond words. - Dancers : Both dancers are age apart and guru-shishya but such a mature performance !!!!! Never knew the singing skill of Parshwanathji. so nicely sung. Kudos to the whole team. Everything is just perfect here, very neat presentation. You guys are just awesome.
