i know i sound monotone as hell but i have been slightly nauseous from excitement since recording this oohhh my god hes a pirate woah thats so cool
also i realized after finishing this video that the trailer DOES have english subtitles, so i mightve missed some cool details but aye
Yakuza fans really be eatin good for the next months. Really excited for Pirates in Hawaii being able to play as Majima in his own solo game getting me going since hes my fav character.

I’m slowly becoming a yakuza fan having just started the franchise and owning 0, kiwami and kiwami 2. And when I tell you that I woke up and on my feed I saw the trailer for this game I literally thought I was still dreaming. 😂 I was like there is no way they are combing a Yakuza game with the spirit of AC Black Flag, there could not be a better match made in heaven.
I heard that this game may even have mythical creatures or supernatural beings to fight. And that’s something I’ve always wanted in a pirate game similar to a title like Sea of Thieves and I swear if the naval combat is great, I already know the fighting combat is great, and there’s something like a kraken, giant sharks, serpents or other supernatural creatures to battle along with the pirate warlords. It’ll be a day one for me easy. 👀
Right?! I thought I’d misunderstood something at first when I heard the pirate stuff, I’m so excited that they went in that direction!
And ohhh I love the idea of mythical creatures being involved!! Majima fighting a kraken would be absolutely priceless hahaha

The game looks so cool I have always wanted a stand alone majima game but its hella expensive in my region

yeaah, it sucks :C i didnt expect such a big announcement, so i hadnt asked my friends to not message me about it - at least i didnt know about the pirate stuff though!

My gut feeling is that it’ll have the usual balance of serious and silly, and that they’re just focusing on the silly stuff in marketing since it’s kind of what yakuza’s known for at this point
…I could of course be wrong, especially since I haven’t played the newer installments in the series yet - it could also very well be the case that this specific game will have a more wacky tone with it being a spinoff
