Juanito Gonzalez Not the saviors no but shane vs negan, hell yeah negan wouldnt stand a chance really as jon bernthal is a pro boxer in real life, but the character shane would destroy negan, negan aint shit without his men
If Shane was alive Rick wouldn't be. Likely Daryl and Hershel's family would've split after he killed him, and whatever was left of the group might not have found the prison, meaning Lori and her baby would've probably died during the birth. Shane was a less stable Governor, he wasn't close to being as good a leader as Rick.
Might be true but still, there is no possible way Shane would've survived that far, there is no scenario where it could've worked out, and even if it did, Shane is simply too hot-headed and would go get himself killed trying to take out Negan, most likely in their first encounter
One of the most emotionally charged dimensions to the whole show, was Rick and Shane’s friendship. They were like brothers, and what happened between them in the end was tragic.
The Hound Nah, he was a nutjob and a dick. He was right, sure, but his deep rooted desire for Rick's family and explossive temper would have been the end of the entire group. He could very well have been another Negan, only more explossive.
I honestly believe Shane is a misunderstood character, by most of the fans. im not saying that his actions were right at the end of the series they certainly werent. shane is a perfect example of a tragic character of how a human being can be torn apart by the world itself. he was pushed straight into this world of poverty and hardships even though the world was already bad enough before hand. rick came back and just as shane said "you came back and you just destroy every thing" and yeah rick did destroy everything, everything for shane that is. before rick fell into his coma we had one scene of dialogue between the two and rick was talking about his family problems while shane was trying to be a good friend, when rick was in a coma and everything started shane made sure lori and Carl were safe. thus making his relationship with lori blossom he had a life now a reason to live. Shane is no where near my favorite character of the series but hes surely one of the most tragic.
I completely agree. Shane is very misunderstood by people. He was a good guy but was forced into a bad situation. He honestly thought he had lost his best friend and brother. He fell in love with Lori and loved Carl. He was moving on as best as he knew how. Then his one reason for being alive decided to blame him for everything. Then his best friend kept making mistake after mistake, risking the entire group. Rick did destroy everything at first. He wasn't willing to make the hard decisions that kept his people alive. Bringing Randell back to the farm, going to get Merle and the guns, the CDC were all decisions Rick made that destroyed the group little by little. Shane saw this happening and wanted to stop it. He couldn't before (when he had his gun on Rick back at the first camp) because Rick was his best friend and brother and that still meant something. But once he found out Lori was pregnant, he knew what he had to do to keep people safe. Rick was the leader (for whatever reason) and he had to take Rick out. He knew exactly what to do to keep his people alive but Hershel and Rick were blocking him. I'm not saying I don't like Rick or anything. But the Rick in the beginning sucked. We had to root for him though because we started with him. He was the stories hero. Anyone who challenged that was automatically the anti-hero. Shane definitely would have made a better leader if it wasn't for Rick killing Shane. That's what it took for Rick to change. Without Rick doing that, we wouldn't have the badass Rick we all know and love today.
In season 5 finale Rick said "How many of you do I have to kill to save your lives?" Which was basically Shane's mentality. But Rick says that "I'm not gonna do that." Shane was too far gone which sucked but , Rick always comes back. They could've been great but Shane was lost.
Lmao. Did you not listen to Ezekiel's confession to Carol near the end of the same episode he's introduced? There's a perfectly logical explanation for the king act and the tiger.
Hitler's Gas chamber deluxe First Lori died from a C section and Carl wanted to be a decent human and help someone out and he did exactly that So no Rick didn’t fail as a father he raised a man that is not scared of anything, fights for his family which is the group, Rick raised an amazing son
No. Rick doesn't show anything like Shane. Shane had become a lying asshole who was driven insane by love. Because he was jelous of his best friend and was willing to kill him to make things go back to the way he wanted. While Rick saw his friends get eaten by walkers and shot in the head by assholes, had his wife died of child birth, went to war with a one-eyed freak, forced to kill his best friend, almost got eaten by cannibals, saw his son get his eye shot out, and saw the man who saved him in the beginning of it all die a brutal death and he was powerless to stop it. Yeah, see my point? Rick went through so many heartbreaking events that changed while Shane just went insane over a woman.
Yeah Rick had great character development, and Shane fell in love with his best friend's wife and got her pregnant, neither of those things changes the fact that Shane was ahead of the game in many ways. Rick became more dangerous and merciless through the plots he was apart of to protect what he see's as his family, Shane just did that from the start even to the point that he was willing to kill his best friend because he was basically straight up told he WOULD NOT be able father to his own child. Between the two Rick is obviously a "better" man, but Shane is pegged way to easily as an asshole.
I wish Shane was still alive, he knew what the world has become and how to survive and the choices u have to make to keep ur family safe, rick figures that out after he kills Shane season 4 Shane will always be a legend
Is it just me or Shane is and still maybe always my favorite character of the show it’s shows how rick will become a man that will do anything even kill to save his loved ones
Your good at editing man, this kind of made me realize Shane was right about how to survive the apocalypse from the get go. Rick basically ended up turning into what Shane told him he had to be from the beginning. He was just kind of a dick.
Josh Robinson Shane for me felt like he adapted too quickly for Rick and the group to catch up and that was why they saw him as dangerous but then again he was obsessed with Lori and Carl and trying to kill Rick. But who cares
Dynamo HD exactly man, If Shane was around for the current state of twd he would seem like a smart survivor but also a shit friend (with the rape attempt and shit)
Yeah i feel as if shane had left the group and rick not have killed him he would turn out like negan. it would have been some crazy story if shane had left the group and we not hear about him untill now and they had kept negans charactor a secret for at least another season only for rick to find out it was shane leading the group in replacement of negan.
lol dude that would have been such a good twist. Then the scene where Negan finds Judith at Alexandria in episode 7 would have been Shane finding his blood daughter.
Rewatching The Walking Dead Season 1 & 2, so far, and honestly….Lori was the problem, and now she handled the Rick/Shane situation. Shane was going to leave the group. But then he saved Carl by killing Otis, and bringing the equipment back. Lori told him to stay, and that was the end of Shane. Shane was one of my favorite characters back in 2012 and 2013, and rewatching it now; yeah, he’s still my favorite. I always wished we had seen Shane and The Governor square off. I could definitely see Shane taking the place of Merle Dixon, and maybe Rick finds him as a Walker; or Shane kills The Governor and eventually we see Shane vs Negan, but I think we all know that Shane would absolutely kick the crap out of Negan. Anyway, rip Shane. A complex chacarater who deserved better.
FallenStar exactly he wouldnt, actually robert kirkman himself wanted rick to use shanes gun and shoot a walker but to find out the magazine was empty, like on purpose that shane wanted to die, but they cut that out
Here's a thought; what if Shane realized he was going to tear everyone apart and he really just put Rick in a position where he'd be forced to kill him- to put down the greatest threat to the group. It'd be an interesting close to his character arc; he'd still go completely insane but in the end he still made the choice no one else could have, to arrange his own death and teach the leader a lesson he'd carry with him for the rest of the show.
I have always loved this character from day one, and watching the show progress I am seeing so much more support for Shane than when season 2 was on. Shane evolved too quick and be would stun the group with his quick thinking and decision making, Rick is so much like Shane now, yes Shane had to die yes he went crazy, Lori would play with his emotions too, one minute she hates him the next she's grateful. As it showed in this video Shane did everything to save rick and he simply wasn't able to. 9/10 times a person would have died in Rick's situation in the hospital. Shane looked after Lori and Carl and ensured they were okay, his world was torn apart, Lori fucked his mind and ruined the Bromance between two great characters. Wish Shane was still around to deal with the current issues. Thank you Jon Bernthal for the portrayal of an amazing character
Shane used to live in New York. His family was taken from him. He made them pay. He spent years fighting an endless war against criminals. He knew the war would never end. He wanted a family again, but knew he couldn't. Homeland and the CIA set him up one last time with a new identity. He moved to Georgia and became a cop and became known as Shane Walsh. Shane used to be Frank Castle. The Punisher.
I wish he never died. He would have killed the governor early in season 3, saving Andrea and Hershel from their deaths. He would even find a way to eliminate the threat of the saviors. RIP Shane. Even if you were being a total douchebag, you still saved many people. And you would even save more had Rick never killed you...

wow man, I will have watched this video 20 times and I can not stop thinking about how Shane ruined everything, he rick lory and carl could be a family that would be soppravissuto stretch but it was not so, now we are never in episode 13 of the season 8, but I will never forget Shane .., .. Great Nice Video
" What's your wound ? " I lost my brother, my partner... my friend ╹◡╹ Sorry Shane, the material called " Scenarium " was against you. Still the best character IMO.
Rick became like Shane at the RIGHT time. Shane got aggressive like this too early when people were still adjusting to the reality of a world that had relegated back to the Hobbesian state of nature.
when you realise that if there WERE only 2 criminals instead of 3 then Shane and Rick would still be best friends and Shane would definitely still be alive in the series cuz of his skill: h m m
Shane walsh just misses the governor in The walking dead and against negan he could have changed so much and alright (spoiler alert) where Rick is now in the new season away shane would have searched him for a long time and replaced him later somehow I just miss Shane as much as his character was as strong as himself he was a real survival artist and would have long survived and shortened the process with Negan and made governor R.I.P
It's 2019 now. I miss Shane so much... Lori broke him, and it's all Lori's fault he went insane. Shane is a misunderstood character, Rick became Shane. Also.... @ me all you want but i ship Rick and Shane
Remember that scene in season 2 episode 10 i think,he was looking at the wandering zombie from the beginning of the episode then at the end of the episode,he sees the walker again,I think it is a representation of Shane being lost, wandering and lost, like a literal zombie
It's inSHANE... *Ahem* anyway, its insane just how well Shane had already adapted to the world around him, with every other member of the group viewing him as a monster and a psychopath. Now? Rick became what Shane was. Shane was right all along, and I feel a little nauseous knowing he's gone, when he was ready to survive this thing. If he'd made it all the way and they'd settled that dumbass love triangle between Rick - Lori - Shane, Rick and Shane would've been an unstoppable duo. 1:30 "I don't think you can keep them safe" Let's just remember something... Since Season 3, nearly every veteran member of the group, under Rick's leadership, is dead. However, nobody under Shane's leadership dies due to *his* decisions. Hell, he's the one who killed Otis to keep Carl alive. Something Michonne would do to Ron later on. Edit: And I hate how the showrunners and writers filmed/edited and sound edited all the shit Shane did was being these horrible, despicable things... Yet in Season 4 and onwards, they make Rick look like a god damn hero.
If Shane was just another hidden name for 'The Punisher' (Frank Castle), he would have killed every zombie within the country by now and everyone would be saved and tv show ended. :)
They shouldn't have killed Shane off but instead make him go away from the group so he could have been reunited further down the road in later seasons like Morales.
Shane knew what it took to stay alive right from the start. Problem is, he took it too far. He lost it. His idea was to kill rick only because he thought rick wasn’t a good enough leader. And because he didn’t want to lose Lori. Rick became a lot like Shane. He became tough, u breakable, and for a while, ruthless. But he never took someone out for the reasons Shane did. Shane was right about surviving in this world. But he lost his way.

wow man, I will have watched this video 20 times and I can not stop thinking about how Shane ruined everything, he rick lory and carl could be a family that would be soppravissuto stretch but it was not so, now we are never in episode 13 of the season 8, but I will never forget Shane .., .. Great Nice Video
THIS IS AMAZING I LOVE IT and also my heart is broken yet again 100/10 thank you
Me watching this and seeing them in the lab made me remember so much because I honestly forgot about the exploded lab
I love this
This is really good, I cant count how many times I have watched/listened to this, Great job.
If shane left the farm came back maybe during negan, instant gold
loved shane really want some more drama like this in this show
excellent video! love it.. same music choice as the transformation of Shane Walsh.. best suiting for it 100%
I’ve watched this video about 30 times now it’s generally amazing! You’re a fantastic editor!
And he meant it when he said he would never shoot Ricky, 2 attempts, not a shot.
A very, very good rendition of The Walking Dead. I love it when someone that can edit does an amazing edit like this. Good job.
thank you so much
means a lot
Yeah! No bother! Keep up the awesome work!
Shane was the most misunderstood character
" What's your wound ? "
I lost my brother, my partner... my friend ╹◡╹
Sorry Shane, the material called " Scenarium " was against you.
Damn he called it he told rick he couldn’t keep them safe and he was right
Very good video man !
thank you :)
Hell if you think about it Shane saved Rick without him putting that bed in front of ricks hospital room and locking it the walkers would have got him
Best Character in Film Histor
Rick and shane would've been a badass dua throughout twd
It's 2019 now. I miss Shane so much... Lori broke him, and it's all Lori's fault he went insane. Shane is a misunderstood character, Rick became Shane. Also....
@ me all you want but i ship Rick and Shane
Remember that scene in season 2 episode 10 i think,he was looking at the wandering zombie from the beginning of the episode then at the end of the episode,he sees the walker again,I think it is a representation of Shane being lost, wandering and lost, like a literal zombie
shane is best chracter
Looking back at the old villains and problems... oh man, Rick get ready, because it gets so much worse for you.
Shane is a Og villain
At least he's coming back in season 9
Shane should have never died
If he was in season 6 he'd be treated completely normal
They shouldn't have killed Shane off but instead make him go away from the group so he could have been reunited further down the road in later seasons like Morales.
Ik
Imagine in the movies rick finds Shane’s family and he tells them he killed Shane and why he did it
shane one is my favorites person after negan and rick
I like shane
Shane knew what it took to stay alive right from the start. Problem is, he took it too far. He lost it. His idea was to kill rick only because he thought rick wasn’t a good enough leader. And because he didn’t want to lose Lori. Rick became a lot like Shane. He became tough, u breakable, and for a while, ruthless. But he never took someone out for the reasons Shane did. Shane was right about surviving in this world. But he lost his way.
Amazing
he kind of got insane when he killed EVERYONE in the barn at Hershel’s farm...
Poor Sophia :(
It was right thing to do, walkers are not sick or ppl they were threat
