I decided to rename it to 'Transformation' to avoid confusion with all the separate copies on my channel. People in North America can still see the originals.
Hello my friends and welcome to the newest transformation video, this time about none other than Shane Walsh. I think his storyline, involving Rick and Lori was one of the best written stories in the entire Walking Dead, so it was a lot of fun for me to edit his evolution edit.
Jon Bernthal did an outstanding job portraying this character and for me he is one of the best characters in the entire show. His perfomance made a not so interesting characters in the comics into one of the best TWD has ever seen.
I was originally going to use Frank's Choice from The Punisher, but it was copyright protected and I recently got a partnership with RUclips so I wanted to use something that wasn't copyrighted. I honestly think it turned out for the better. The 28 days cover does an amazing job at allowing a strong and even build up instead of just a drop. In the house, in a heartbeat is a great piece of musical work and I'm glad I was able to use it in this video.

Hey.... So AMC has blocked videos... again and again... I hate to re-upload these videos, since it feels very lazy. Na he was crazy lmao. He literally tried to rape Lori when they were at the CDC and she Scratched his neck. He killed otis for no reason lmao. He got issues. He tried to kill rick multiple times even after Rick forgave him he took him into the woods and tried it But *RICK IS UN BEATABLE*

Lowkey Godly and he did need to kill Otis, the walkers were almost on them and he had a injured ankle from jumping out the window, so he shot him so that only one of them died.
i miss shane, no matter all the bad shit he did. he knew what the apocalypse held, he was smart. but he turned too lethal too soon for the others. rip

Not gonna lie Shane was probably one of the most in depth and relatable characters in this show. He's a perfect example of human nature and drive to survive in the face of a stacked deck
Jon Bernthal is an amazing actor from Shane, The Punisher and Grady Travis. You can tell he really gives it his all when playing these characters. 👌
He always has these little mannerisms in his characters that always bring them more to live. He is indeed an incredible actor.
If Shane never went bad and crazy then he could have been the protagonist instead of rick I mean just imagine how he would have dealt with the governor, terminus, Negan, the Claimers, and the whisperers
Fun fact: originally, the plan was for Shane to kill Rick in the comics early on and that would have caused a tense storyline between him and Carl

Shane was one of the greatest friends someone could ask for...he just lost his way, that’s all...
People didn’t know how to survive. Shane did, that was the difference between him and Rick. Then of course, Rick turned savage and became the leader of everyone.
He fell in love with a selfish woman and turn bitter then lost it. I liked him n thought Lori treated him badly that's why he did some stupid things but I didn't like how he killed Odis.

Shane was far ahead of the game right from the start. I still think out of all characters Shane would be the one to make it through the entire apocalypse if he was on his own.
Lori had to mess with him one last time he was just getting over it until she came and said something
So much props has to be given to Shane ( can't remember his name off the top of my head). I loved his transformation so much that I loved his character even more. I missed him when he was gone. The strange thing is that he was right all along

Shane was right in season 5 when Rick got to Alexandria he basically was Shane in how he acted and told them how how it was other people like the Governor and the people at Terminix May have changed Rick but he got it all from Shane and maybe it was alive Carl and Lori would still be alive? And I love Rick but I’m Just being honest

Shane was my favourite character. Always will be. He made his mistakes but he cared for Lori Carl and the group. But every leader makes mistakes. So did rick. I liked rick too
That scene where Rick is tripping and sees shane back in the cop cruiser talking to him and Shane says essentially “you did good by killing me I was losing it” hits on a different level
Shane knew how to survive, everyone keep saying that Shane was too ahead of his time but not at all, he was prepared and the rest of them weren’t, Rick become Shane in a way where he don’t take chances with some damn strangers , sadly Rick had to lose ALOT of people before realizing it...

Shane wouldn't do what Merle did, Merle was on the edge, Shane had people he cared about
people need to understand that they HAD to kill of shane that early
all this "imagine how he would have dealt with the governor, negan etc." is nonsense to talk about
if shane was alive there would be none of those problems, they would have never encountered them or dealt with it INSTANTLY and way to soon
they needed to get rid of shane so they can even introduce those enemys in the first place
i also struggled a long time with that, but since i realized that, its easier to digest his meaningless dumb death
I genuinely miss the old Walking Dead. The first few seasons were and always will be the best to me. I don't know a specific season where things seem to take a turn for the worst in quality but I think after Negan and the saviors era of the show. It all just went down hill for me.

I always wondered just what Shane was trying to say to Rick as he bled to death. Like for those final moments, it almost seems like Shane was trying to embrace Rick... Just what would his last words have been if we could have heard them...
It's really interesting to think about that. It could have been something along the lines what he told rick in 9x5. Maybe he was trying to say sorry and tried to make up for everything. Or maybe he was pissed and was trying to curse rick to hell xD

Anybody ever think Shane is the Joker of TWD. A lot of people say he wasn't crazy, he was just ahead of the curve. Just like how Joker said he was in The Dark Knight. The apocalypse broke Shane into what others thought was a monster and while he may be a monster, he knew what had to be done and he was ready for it before everybody else.
A lot like how Joker was turned into a monster by society and he knew what had to be done.
Might be unpopular but Shane was my favorite in the t v show , it dropped off significantly after he died, not too mention he brought a real professionalism to the show, actually looked natural holding a gun and not acting like he knew ...

3. Rick could've at some point convinced Hershell to open the barn
4. Lori wouldn't have died that early and would have lived to see her kid

Shane could have progressed to be just as ruthless as Negan was tbh - he tried to kill Rick because he wanted that power and he was jealous he was a human being- even in the apocalypse
Shane was the best character and the only one who had what it taked to survive right off the bat.

It's a colouring method I liked for quite a while, and it helps with copyright yes. I use different colourings more now, but since this was a re-upload I couldn't really change the colouring anymore.

Ik people won't agree with me but I think Shane was a more attentive father to Carl and more loving than rick.
Also apparently Shane wasn't supposed to die so soon but John Bernthal wanted to leave since he got busy.
"Speaking to Jake's Takes, Bernthal explained that he left The Walking Dead because he got "really, really busy", adding that he had three kids to look after. He did, however, go on to reprise the role in two more episodes".
