I've never been in doubt about Ange. I legt Scotland in 2011 and moved to Australia. The first aussie football match I watched was Brisbane Roar and i was blowm away with their play and their manger was Big Ange. I've support Spurs and Celtic my whole life and when he went to Celtic I told all my Scottish mates that this man will win us the league. And when he went to Spurs i told all my London family the same. COYS
On Saturday morning my wife and I took my oldest daughter on a road trip (in a Canadian blizzard) for her 18th birthday. My daughter and I sat in the back seat watching the game on my phone and we both said before the game that if City beats us we won't let it ruin our trip. What a game! After that demolishing of City we couldn't stop talking about it all weekend, especially after my daughter had her first alcoholic drinks lol. This is why I love Spurs. I'll never forget that day.
@shreyashsinha1638 if he can be consistent then yes. If he can keep adapting his strategy and win against the top and bottom teams alike then yes. Let's be clear I am a Spurs fan through thick and thin. I was before Ange and I will be when Ange leaves. All of us have the right to criticize or praise managers and players based on the circumstances, none of them are infallible.
@@ChrisWRR Consistency that's the problem. I was so sure of us beating Ipswich and the final result was unacceptable. It's difficult to trust Ange and his team.
It would not surprise me if Ben Davies gets a two year extension at the end of the season. We will still buy a left sided defender, though keeping him around is good for the younger players.
Hey Barnaby just started watching your content and I have say it's great to get a straight balanced and well delivered cast. I'm so sick of some of the other channels that just moan and slag off the team that should be getting behind. Keep it up COYS
Kulu has changed ever since he became a father! It's like he's playing for his baby now! What happened at City I hope is a precursor for things to come. We are all gobsmacked by what happened. Easily the best game Spurs have ever had! Let's wait and see what happens at Fulham. Fingers are crossed. COYS!!!!
I believed at the start of Ange's tenure that he'd need 4 to 6 transfer windows to get a settled squad who would be totally bought into his systems and his expectations of them, we're only just coming up to window 4, window 6 will be January of '26, I expect things to be bubbling up nicely after that point. Until then just enjoy the highs and expect some more lows, this time next year the sharks will be circling for Romero, Micky and maybe Porro and Deki too (I think Romero would be the simplest to replace). Our big tests are going to come at Anfield, The Emirates, Stamford Bridge. COYS.
Did that happen? lol Yes Barnaby that happened! It all was very familiar for an ageing Aussie but it was wonderful to see my beloved Spurs wreck "the best club on the planet."
They were rested - that's the difference. Accumulated fatigue due to the ridiculous number of matches they're playing takes its toll. We still lack the squad depth to cope with that - we're buying excellent players for the future (good move), but until they mature we're going to struggle with so many matches.
Correct … Can’t Carry Two Games In A Week , Have not got the depth yet to play the high intensity style Ange Demands But We are Getting there , more incomings hopefully in jan ( wouldn’t hold my breath ) , but it’s very much needed
Yes Baraby, thank you for your content. Yeah that was unbelievably good. If we can go to the Dekihad and get a reselt like that, then we can beat anyone. That was a statement win. COYS!!
I must admit, when I saw the team sheet, I nearly shat myself, and when Biss got booked after 16 seconds, I really feared the worst. BUT, my God what a team performance, and what a result, fully deserved on the day. Every man on the pitch gave us a 9 out of 10, some even pushing for a 10. I really never saw that coming, especially after losing at home to Ipswich. We really need to build on this and after Roma on Thursday, it's Fulham on Sunday and that would be a great time to do so. Away from home, they really aren't great. COYS!!! 🙋♂🙋♂🙋♂🙋♂ (still in dreamland)!
Barnacles, can some one please look into Johnsons lack of take on attempts? Very few, let alone succesful ones. Is it accepted that its just not part of his game? Kulu had x 4 succesful dribbles
Cadz4392 it’s the same for me as well, I live in England and I’m a Yid but i like Celtic as well because of my Irish heritage, so Ange has managed my two favourite clubs.COYS.☘️🍀
No not dreaming....but we have to keep up this adaption of Angeball....strong press and then lightning breaks from a little further back Martin (Dublin-Spurs)
Hi barnaby, great stream dude! Yes it was a dream! Not really we did win and boy was it good! Can we continue this progression against Fulham and beyond? Hope so! Take care dude & keep up the great work!
Wouldn't be fair to just dumb Ben Davies and Dragusin when Cuti and VDV come back! Unfortunately Vicario is out with an ankle injury for anything up to 2 or so months. It never rains but pours
Hi mate its clear we can beat anyone on our day so it bodes well for an important cup match one off win. A win at fulham is so important now so we can sll really really believe in this process but we are definitely better than last season by far
If we had beaten Crystal Palace, Brighton, and Ipswich, we would have gained 9 points, plus the 16 we already have, totaling 25 points. We could have been in second place. So, I'm not overreacting to the Man City win;
No no no no, stop with ifs ifs and ifs and ifs, if I was bezos's son I would be pissing on a gold toilet, what you are doing is overreacting, crying your guts out when we lose, and still crying your guts out when we win because we lost one before.
Nobody's overreacting. We saw something in the performance that confirmed what many have seen coming for a long time. It's still a work in progress, but you can see the progress, the bones, the direction.
@@earofvangogh9450No,no,no stop this nonsense with your Spursy mentality. Losing to newly promoted Ipswich is totally unacceptable; it's only the second time this has happened in Premier League history. I'm not a happy clapper.
That lot at tottenham away say Davis is complete garbage say we only won because we play conte style wow they are so negative, try to find faults in yesterday's game I don't get it,

Ok, so now we have lost our only Genuine Quality Keeper. Let’s be up front. Fraser Foster is not the answer. The city game, the result was fantastic, Maddison, Kulusevski, Sarr and Bissouma bossed the midfield and took pressure off the defense. With no sweeper keeper, the sooner Micky and Cuti come back the better. Our third choice keeper needs to play. The other comment I want to make is directed toward the fickle supporters who want to sack our coach every time we put in a poor performance. COYS!🤍
That win confirms that we have a clear identity and an ability to adjust and learn. Ange is the man.
We finally had a defence on Saturday. Keep it that way! And
Romero can sit on the bench and wait his turn.
just let you in on a "secret". Ange was *always* flexible. The inflexibility motif was just Ange feeding the chooks ;-)
Good to see Solanke to get the props. Look at how he scraps when he's outnumbered. Brings other players into the game.

Barnaby, with due respect, Vicario is out for up to 2 or 3 months😢
I am very afraid. Forster is terrible with distribution😢😢😢
You mentioned Biss playing every game. He WON’T play the Europa games, Bentancur will. It’s the only way Ange can keep him in competitive action.
The reason we played a lot better was because we didn't piss about with it at the back, we was far more direct with getting the ball out of defence.
yeah and scored from that Dragushin long ball. We should do that a bit more often given you can't get the ball off Deki.
When I hear all the groans about particular players, i think, Ange makes players better and they are a young squad.
come on, you spurs👍🏴

Still celebrating Barny boy ,,,,up the spurs from old school spurs boys 🎉🎉
Pity Vicario played for 1 hour with a broken bone in his foot.
What do we think of the idea that City might just have taken us a bit lightly, knowing we hardly had a cohesive central defensive unit?
