I've broken my ankle before (fibula). I walked on it for 11 days before going to the GP and finding out it was in 2 pieces. Ankles can also be super painful depending on what's damaged. But the body doesn't put much weight through the fibula so it's possible to be unsure without an xray.
Thank you some common sense instead of looking for people to blame. Been there done that with a broken bone in my ankle for 3 days before realising it was gone. Healed naturally but if operated on it would have been faster. Same with both of my wrists. One took months naturally and the other 3 weeks after being pinned and plated. Spurs have physio on tap every day so he will come back sooner all going well.
I dunno if anyone actually is watching the game(s) itself? Ange protected Radu and Ben with a double pivot in front of them. Actually when pressed low we formed into a 4-1-4-1..., and I don't think I've seen that b4? Think he wanted to neutralize that central space in between the lines where City thrives. It was also very much thanks to Madders' hard work that we could be so solid. He ran much of the offense while ALSO being back in the central mf line defending hard. Like Kulu has begun doing this season, playing the 10 creating and ALSO running back for every defense and keeping his mf def position. (Likely this is why Ange benched Madders earlier, when he didn't work as hard in D.) As MVDV and Romero returns he FOR sure will play them in front of Ben and Radu since it gives him more options offensively.
If he has surgery it is a good thing especially if it has been plated and pinned. The time frame to come back is shorter than letting it heal naturally. Probably why they operated in the first place. Just for those people who have not fractured a bone in their foot or ankle it is very hard to tell without X-ray or MRI due to swelling mostly. Don’t go blaming the medical staff because it is very difficult to differentiate between a sprain or a break without X-ray.
Interesting that you should wrote that. I recall one of the Australia cricket fast bowlers had something slightly less than a stress fracture in one foot. Mind you, proper fast bowling is brutal on the bowler's body, knee and foot injuries galore. I think they gave him a few needles in-situ and instructed him to keep bowling until the bone fractures "properly" as that would mean a quicker recovery, which sounded really odd to me, but there you go. Not sure if Vic has been pinned or plated, but they probably removed any bone "spurs" (pun intended) or fragments. Late Feb 2025 early March for a comeback if all goes well for Vic.
At Spurs it never rains but pours at spurs.. We never got enough cover in places were we needed them in the transfer window always left short. Now in trouble this is the board. All the best Vicario .
Spence and Ben are backups to Udogie. I think Ange wants to give the defenders a lot of matches, hence the Radu, Romero, Spence on the right side and MVDV - Ben - Udogie on the left hand side.
Btw, I think this is probably a good opportunity as ever to go all in on the team. Ange has pretty much hit every single transfer he has asked for so far so, giving him another 2-300 mill probably just keeps increasing the value of the team I would bet.
Featured bones aren't as painful as damaged ligaments. Ive done both. I'm still in shock, 40 years later at having had to have a cast for 6 weeks for a fractured wrist when there was next to no pain. In the same incident, i damaged ankle ligaments and they stuck bandage on it 😂
The point here, is that there's absolutely no way at all to know if a bone is fractured without an x-ray. If the player says the pain is a 1 or 2 out of 10, IE, it hurts but not enough to hold me back.....what can the medical staff do? You can't take players of for every little niggle
I would like a lcb/lb, another 6 (Cardoso?), Eze-type of player - established, Gykores-type of player hard working like Solanke instead of Richie if he can't stay health and possibly a 2nd goalie. I think it would be another lift to our offense to get more creation from our fullbacks... If u would rank it, I think 3 established quality Ange-ball players could do it. (Eze-type, Guykeres-type and a good 6 for depth.)
There are so many clips of sports players playing through pain barriers. I.e dislocated shoulders and knee caps ect. Why should the ankle be any different.
Get Nauer - monster of a ball-paying sweeper keeper, contract at Bayern ends next year, at least Bayern sells for some cash instead of leaving for free, sure Nauer thought about testing the Premier league before hangs the glove, pay high salary for a year contract & then sell to MLS or Saudi before he turns 39 😂 Other choices: de Gea (although not really suited for Ange but at least Premier league proven), Mathew Ryan (Australian connection) or Rui Patrício 🤓 Although, I think Levy will not like signing any players he deemed as old, with low resale value, even though short term, so I think he'll be going to loan an out-of-favor 1st choice goalkeeper, somewhere from Europe hehe
They knew it was broken. Vic was given pain killers to continue the game. How did Vic know it was broken at half time?? Cuz they knew it was broken. Now he has to pay for this stupidity. 3 mths off. I'm pissed off! Ricky Sacks said we were happy for 46.5 hrs!! That's Spurs. Can't be happy for too long. Anyway, we have to move on and play the game even more ferociously. We can do it! COYS!
No worries, we have Bob the Builder as our second-choice goalie. What a fantastic transfer window we've had! What an amazing club we are... or so we claim. Our owners are not awesome. Our fans, those Happy Clappers, are singing the praises of our owners, but perhaps they're singing a little too loudly. It's a match made in heaven-these Happy Clappers fans and ENIC-or so it seems. These fans will swallow anything given to them by their owners; they're accepting mediocrity as the standard. I blame these fans for agreeing to the way we've been run.
The owner's success in managing other club aspects is great but when it comes to the footballing side it's another matter which is the focus here. In the 24 years they've been in charge, the club has only won one league cup. The current situation with Vicario's injury highlights a lack of support for the manager; they failed to secure a suitable backup goalkeeper. This demonstrates a lack of seriousness regarding the footballing side of the club. Clubs like Liverpool, Brighton, and Aston Villa are faring much better in this respect. The Spurs Army will organize a protest in the coming months, demanding that the board review ticket pricing, especially for seniors, and invest in higher-quality players to improve the squad. We don't need a keyboard warrior.
As you both said you are not medical experts so you shouldn’t be passing an opinion tbh specially jori bad mouthing our medical staff tiger won the open with a broken leg ffs if it was a minor fracture you can play through any pain and depends on the individual
Non medically trained casting aspersions on medically trained people is pathetic. Vic would have said the pain wasn’t bad, that it felt like a sprain. Only when it cooled down did the pain and swelling worsen. Stick to the football and leave medical commentary to those trained in those areas.
"I dont know anything about physiotherapy" is where you should of stopped. Talking on stuff you know nothing about is pointless content. Love the content in general but, keep it up.

@Jorri I think we should definitely offer Deki a bumper new contract! I’m worried the elite sides will come circling this summer.
THE CURSE OF ENIC!!!

Gotta love the analysis and witisissms from Jorri

I can understand that they didn’t spot it on field . However how could they not realise the ankle was broken during half time . Crazy
we have to get a keeper in January
Better a fracture than ligament/tendon injury. Soft tissue take a lot longer to heal.
Fractures can be very minute. Still require surgery but you can work through them. X-ray machines may not be available for away teams.
we won 3 points but probably cost 15 plus points lol.
And u need MRI, Ultrasound or similar to determine for sure if it is a fracture. They prolly don't have MRI there, but they might have an ultrasound?
If we are a club that “dares” & “does”, why not play Austin or Gunter? If you want up and coming goalkeepers, surely that for the bill?
James Trafford
Also Foster is a very experienced player and is great for team spirit.
We do lack experience
He is not a good keeper anymore experience isnt that important, would prefer one the other keepers.
People have different pain tolerance so it is so different for everyone.

the injury is very bad news for ange, will cost us alot of points.
Very unlikely that it happened after, most likely I'd say that the fracture happened at the collision.
playing on made it worse.
Guys, ergh, laughable, ofc they should have taken him OFF!
They knew it was broken. Vic was given pain killers to continue the game. How did Vic know it was broken at half time?? Cuz they knew it was broken. Now he has to pay for this stupidity. 3 mths off. I'm pissed off!

COYS!
If it was broken at half time then him playing on didn't cost him 3 months off. 🤦🤦
How do you know this ?
Spurs should go in for Joe Hart as a stop gap. He hasn't been retired too long and should be in fit enough condition to do better that Forster

Spurs have got there own hospital the NHS use it as well
Game wasn't at home so they don't have access to it during a game do they....🤦
what happens in Forster does his knee?
Probably were have to look at Austin.
Na, gotta be Deki.
our other keepers are better than him.
Should buy r Irish goalkeeper from Liverpool 🇮🇪🇮🇪
