That looked like one of the easier days on The Wall. Been off the lift line top when the first 20-30 feet of vertical off the ridge have 3-4 foot "stair steps". Don't want to go straight down on those! The wind looked tame as well. Stiff, bracing winds are the usually the default up there.
I j went on it yesterday and as u mentioned it had the stairs. I am a beginner and I managed to make it down its j that dropping in is scary so I slid in and couldn’t stop for 10 seconds but after that it was fine.
How is kirkwood for snowboarding? I've been to Crystal Mountain and Steven's Pass up in Rainier National forest, southern Washington state. No where else though. Im just looking for that powder man! Looks like a nice long run though.
its really nice. lifts 7,5,6,11 are some of the best as of this last weekend. the wall, lift 10, is super icy and so is sunrise, lift 4,(pure ice almost died) right now. they are expecting a ton of snow this weekend and 11/10 would recommend for anyone
Noob! Lol I guess you don't appreciate good snow. Last 3 years kwood was the only place that had lots of rideable acres dbl blks. I love squaw but the epic pass is such a deal and kwood is close. Also kwood is 9k plus elevation so the snow quality is the best of Tahoe .
Agree I've been to diamond peak(sucks ass) dodgeridge (it's ok for the price? And heavenly(which is overrated). Went to kirkwood today and it does have the best snow shit was epic

The walls is cool for steep moguls but at kirkwood the backside is where the pow is at . Kirkwood to me is the best snow in Cali !

cant get lazy on your turns on the wall. i did one time and i slid a good 50 feet backwards before stopping.
