Look I'm a Tangkhul and I don't hate the Meiteis. I see the Meiteis as our best friends and business partners and I love them. As the history says we were once brothers. But the situation has changed ever since the meitei Brothers betrayed their Tangkhul brothers and signed on the constitution that they accept to be part of the government. Let politics take its course but normal citizens shouldn't give in to hatred cuz in the end we're neighbour's so it'll be of mutual benefit if the Meiteis and other tribes in Manipur maintain good relation. Cuz we've always been interdependent to each others. We should work together and bring development in our place. There's no benefit in pulling down your brothers cuz we are far behind compared to other countries. And the cause of greater Nagalim will not affect you commoners, the corrupted politicians are just worried about it cuz they'll have less money to extort from. The commoners should really stop focusing on politics and focus on economics instead cuz in the end politicians don't care about you. They'll promise a list full but will hardly deliver 3. Cuz the fact is that politics has become a business for the rich. Rich Ministers stand for election to become richer and the followers blindly defend them knowingly. Wake up and face the truth. It's because of the public that corruption is abundant in Manipur.
thechemicals how can tangkhuls and meetei be brothers. Meetei were a very advance society they have kings they have their own script there own religion since the 15 th 16th century their custure culture and trafitions are totally different from Tangkhul. Thangkhuls were headhunters and every village has their own language they were a tribal barbaric until william petigrew come to manipur in 18th century. While the meetei already have kingdoms in 14th 15th century and you said that meetei and nagas are brothers😂😂😂 shame on you bro.
Beautiful life haha yes shame on me if my words harm the wellbeing of the people but I prefer to look at the bigger picture which is to promote oneness and love within the ethnics who would play a major role in each others lives. I don't know if it's really true that the meiteis & Tangkhuls were brothers but that's what I heard from elders. But I love it because it brings the two ethnic closer to each other. We as the younger generation needs to eradicate this feeling of discontent and hatred which infects some of our peoples heart. Cuz in the end of the day were all people trying to live our life and life is much better when there's peace and love.
Come on guys, there is nothing to do with the land when you die.... Instead prefer peace ful coexistence, and no state is created on community basis, nscm im does not represent all the nagas, peace be with you to all the communities.
*THE ORIGIN OF NAGAS* The Nagas as we know them today are actually a disparate conglomeration of mountain tribes inhabiting the Patkai mountain ranges in the north eastern region of India. Each tribe is distinctly different from the other even in terms of racial features and mannerisms. The most outstanding disparity between the various Naga tribes would be in their linguistic dialects. One village situated on a hilltop can see the next tribe settled on another hilltop. They would have been living in visible proximity for ages and yet there would not be a common word between the languages. This is true of all the present day naga tribes and even between the sub tribes. Lifestyle, way of living, food habits and cloth designs are largely determined by geographical conditions. It goes to reason that people living in the same geographical area would develop similar habits, culture and by way of copying and imitation, they would gravitate towards some homogeneity. However, the one obviously notable fact that undermines this outward similarity is the languages that have remained distinctly different from each other. It appears that, all the years before the modern age, the various Naga tribes never communicated with each other and perhaps never needed to. The number of distinctly different languages in such a small and compact geographical area is truly remarkable and demands many answers. One clear-cut conclusion that can be drawn from the above facts and circumstances is that, the Naga tribes, as we know them today, were never one homogenous group of people who migrated together or came to the region as a result of a singular cause and effect. More likely, they were different groups of people who arrived at different times, from different directions and due to varied reasons. Another undeniable fact is that the disparate group of hill tribesmen were known as Naga not until they reached their present location. The reason for this surmise is the plain and simple fact that the term Naga is primarily a Sanskrit root-word, and was used by the Sanskritic plainsmen of Bengal and of the Brahmaputra valley with reference to the hill tribesmen of the eastern hills who were largely unclad and hostile. To say therefore that they were one homogeneous group who migrated from the same direction due to one certain cause and effect and arrived together, is difficult to intellectually digest. In fact it would not be untrue to suggest that the migration of such miscellaneous groups of people was a continuous though perhaps sporadic one, and continues to this day. The Nagas are therefore not a homogenous group of people. Each of them are ethnically different from the other. It remains a matter of great curiosity as to how such diverse tribesmen came to find refuge together in such a compact geographical area, lived alongside each other for centuries, and yet maintaining their starkly different linguistic identities intact and uncontaminated all the while. It is only in the modern era that the western anthropologists grouped them under the miscellaneous classification of the Naga nomenclature. Even though there is no specific definition of the term ‘Naga’ and the characteristics it encompasses, the term itself is the only binding factor that bundles all such miscellaneous hill tribes together. Other than that it is obvious that each of them came from separate ways, due to separate reasons. Some may have come due to natural disasters such as floods and earthquakes, others may have come in search of safety and refuge from wars or stronger enemies. They came from different directions, in different periods and due to different reasons. They were not ethnically one group of people. It is only doltishness for anybody to even suggest that anybody crawled out of the ground or crawled out from cracks and fissures of mountain rocks. Everybody came from somewhere!!!
India Invaded Nagalim (Naga Hills) - Most Terrifying Story Kept Hidden For Years The Naga people originally came from Mongolia, migrating to the present Nagalim (Naga Hills) as early as 10th century BC. The British colonial regime invaded western part of Naga Hills (Now India part of Nagalim) in 1832. And in 1881 it was declared a British District. It is believed that the British never reach the eastern part of Nagalim (Now Burma part of Nagalim) until 1930. A memorandum was summited to the British government (Simon Commission) in 1929 by representative of the Nagas called “Naga Club” formed in 1918 for constitutional reform. Nagas clearly stated to the British about its sovereignty in 1929 and also in 1946-47. It was clearly stated that Naga will remain an independent nation, and do not wish to join the Dominion of India. The Naga National Council (NNC), founded in 1946, claimed an independent and sovereign state for Nagalim and declared independence on August 14, 1947, as the British withdrew from their territory, and one day before India became independent. Nagalim was not part of the Indian Union at the time of India’s independence. Therefore, Nagalim is not part of India. But India invaded Nagalim shortly after its independence. India fights against the colonialist British but soon became a colonial state when India was liberated from the British colonial and became free nation. An agreement was signed by the NNC with the government of India called "The Nine Point Agreement". This agreement recognized the right of self-determination of the Naga people, stating that ‘The right of the Nagas to develop themselves according to their freely expressed whishes is recognized’. The government of India was to have a special responsibility for a period of ten years to ensure the due observance of the agreement. At the end of that period, 10 years, the Nagas would be free to decide whether they want to join the Union of India or be free. However, on November 9, 1949, India revoked the agreement unilaterally, stating that the Indian Government no longer considered the agreement valid. U Nu (the first prime minister of Burma) and Jawaharlal Nehru (the first prime minister of India) visited Nagaland on March 30th, 1953 on their own initiative without being invited. In protest, for disrespecting the Naga’s sovereignty, Naga people walked out of the meeting in mass to the last man. Nehru was very much humiliated and deeply disappointed, and in April 1953, the Government of India started ruthless political persecution, including mass arrests, torture, and terrorizing against the Nagas. On April 13, 1953, the Indian Government even gave instructions to the Indian Armed Forces in Naga Hills to rape Naga women. A letter of protest was subsequently sent to the Prime Minister of India against this abominable instruction. Nehru and U Nu agreed upon to take control over Nagalim - Eastern part of Nagalim to be controlled by Burma, and Western part by India. Jawaharlal Nehru, the Indian historian and the author of Glimpses of World History had stated that “By the tribal areas, we mean those long stretches of land between Burma and India which belongs neither to India or Burma or any other foreign powers”. However after India’s independence and realizing the advantage of an enlarged territory, he had made a full turnabout and insisted that all the British territories were now Indian Territory. Mahatma Gandhi, the father of Indian nation had stated that “Nagas have every right to be independent”. NNC formed Federal Republic of Nagalim in 1956. In response, the Government of India enacted the Armed Forces Act and conducted military operation in all the Nagas inhabited areas. Gandhi’s doctrine of non-violence was no longer upheld after its independence. Thousands of houses, churches and schools were burnt down and dismantled. Innocent civilians were reportedly tortured by high ranking army officers up to the extent of burying alive after third degree torture. Pregnant women were kicked and abused and were reportedly forced to give birth in front of the Jawans. Hundreds of villages were burnt down. Almost the whole population was driven into jungles where they live on roots and leaves without medical care. Thousands died of starvation and diseases. Village headmen were blindfolded and executed with their hands tied behind their backs. Many strong men were hung upside-down to death and even raosted alive. Many were locked-up and put to death of hunger. Many women were raped on the pulpit inside the Holy Church. Many men were tied-up and forced to watch their wives and daughters being raped by the Indian army. Even men were sexually abused at gun-point. Many innocent young men were brutally executed and chopped off their heads mercilessly one after another. Lt. Pogholo of Matikhrii village was one of the victims whose head was chopped off along with 8 others villagers on 6th of Sept 1960. The brutality and horrific execution by the Indian army was beyond imaginable and pardonable. Young women were raped in front of their village elders. A beautiful young lady called Rose from a Tangkhul Naga community was one the victims, among many. Eventually Nagaland state, a small part of India part of Nagalim (Naga Hills) was created in 1963. Today Nagas are divided as - Myanmar Nagas and India Nagas. The Nagas in India are further divided as Nagaland Nagas, Manipur Nagas, Arunachal Nagas and Assam Nagas. Unlike the Naga, the Meitei on 15th October 1949, by Maharaja Bodha Chandra Singh, ceded “full and exclusive authority, jurisdiction and powers for and in relation to the governance of the State” to Dominion Government of India through the Manipur Merger Agreement, signed on 21st September 1949. And the actual size/area of Manipur that was agreed upon to merge with India was less than 2000 square kilometers. But today, Manipur have an area of 22,327 km², out of which more than 20,000+ km2 still belongs to the Nagas. Dividing the Nagas into pieces was India’s policy to weaken them. But the birthrights of the Nagas can never be taken away by any mighty power on earth so long as the Nagas stand united by heart and blood. More than 250000+ Nagas has being killed. But all the atrocities and killings were kept hidden from the outside world until today. It is time for the world to come and save the Nagas from the heinousness of India terrorizing a weaker nation. Nagas can no more bear the brutalities of the Indian army. In the eyes of the Nagas, the Indian army is the real terrorist and threats to peaceful co-existence. God Bless Nagalim! KUKNALIM!
Self style history...lol...great attempt to create a unique history of nagas....wonderful....lol...lol...😂😂😂😂....tell ur history to ur boss called MUIHVA...he will really appreciate u...but dont tell such self style history to others...people will laugh at u....lol...lol....i come across the funniest person ever in my life...lol...
politics is a dirty game. Today we argue and abuse each other here because we think we all have rights to our homeland. But as soon as we step out of the NorthEast we begin to face the same problems from other parts of India. they see us differently, they all (mis)treat us the same. there is a prevailing prejudice to a certain limit about us, right from our physical appearances to our food, to the clothes we wear. we fight and claim "we are indians too" outside of our respective states while we segregate ourselves in our own states. Many things unite us, let not this divide us. let us not be mere peace-lovers but peace-makers.Dust we are made of and dust we shall all return to.
Wake up Meitei's! It is right steps for you to support Naga's Accord and live free like a man, how long will you like to live under the dominant of Mayang.. opposing the naga Accord will be negative impact for Meitei's ..we need to work together for our future. We are living under brothers in arms if we oppose each other other will take advantage.

We in Manipur and perhaps every sane citizens of the planet trust one thing and one thing only that this fictious tribal state called Nagaland must be abolished for good of all mankind. The so called temporary tribes Nagas are enjoying a per capita budget allocation even more than USA. In short a state which has not produced a single scientist is enjoying higher percapita than the richest nation on earth US. So, India being a poor country must stop subsidizing fictitious tribal states like Mijoram and Nagaland etc. Its a sink to India's economy.
Mr.kaka D. Iralu should be ask more questions in future because he knows more about the history of the Naga's and it's neighbours... We all have the liberty to make an argument but first we need to know all the history of our people as well as our neighbours before making any argument..
So long the Nagas of the Nagaland have not been able to actively fight for our brethrens in different regions. We remember you all. You are not forgotten. Time forced us to seek stability first, then peace after that cease fire. Then came the political talks and at last managed to force all the parties and factions (except one) into the talk. We have spend decades and decades trying to Walk the good walk. We have walk the peaceful way. We have honoured the GOI decisions. We stayed calmed when our neighbours provoked us. Watch for the signs and seasons. Our time is coming. The Nagas in A.P, manipur and other parts are the most backward, in all of their respective states. We are been communally targeted, subjugated and mistreated. This is nothing but hardcore racism and indirect racial cleanings. Like the majority white in the states categorically attacked the Africans Americans, mainlander Hindu's are doing to us. What is our's may always be ours. It's painful to see our brothers struggle for survival. We have Assam who's map get larger every single night. They have issues with Mizos, Nagas, Arunachals and almost anyone sharing broader with them. These is all a clever set up. We need UN to interventions. Justice and rights in India is measured in terms of their faith, religion and racial features. We minorities will never get even our basic right under communal and racist India. Had we look like the mainlanders and practiced Hinduism. Everything would be roses and sunshine. No men should be discriminated mistreated based on their faith and skin color. Had the Nagas and the Mizo's did what Assam do everyday there would have been National emergency. Beware the wrath of the calm man.
One should understand that land belongs to state and not to communities. If communities start claiming ownership to land, then there will be endless conflict among communities throughout the entire country.
People and community living together form the state. Some States were form without proper consent of the people. Example, Manipur was form after British left India. Before, the British rule the meeteis, Nagas and kukis were never together. They live in their own ancestors land. The land of the Nagas were never a land of Manipur government. The land belongs to people who live there for a thousand years. Meetei people or Kuki people doesn't have any right to object the ambition of Naga people wanting to live separately or under different administration. The state of Manipur is created by the government of India for better or convenient administration.
Meitei and naga r brothers but we are different ......we hve devided land, different culture , distinct complexion, different food habit, different language .......we are naga .......n u r meitei ...tooo defferent......just like the night and the day......
There's no Naga in Manipur that's what the meiteis said and that's what we the Nagas agreed beacause we Nagas are not living in your land we are dwelling in our own land.
laishram devkumar your comment doesn't doesn't make any sense to me...if you understand what I mean in my comment that's what i count...and it's good that you understand it.
@@alsonngambom09 He is from Harvard. Do some research before commenting. And for your information being weak in speaking doesn't mean lack of knowledge!
It's ridiculous that non nagas are asked whether Nagas will be satisfied with the Naga Peace Accord!Nagas alone have the answer to that very question! And mind you(Meitei representative), it is shameful on your part to cite the example of ENPO in Nagaland which is exclusively of local affairs in Nagaland. Nagas are one as much as you think meiteis are one when we fight for own respective rights.Nagas cannot be fooled by meiteis in any way.
If the Tangkuls and the Meiteis are brothers, than it's clear that the Nagas are the outsiders. Even the Naga leader Kaka Eralu has clearly mentioned on it that the Tangkhul and Meitei are brothers. And I would like to challenge that there is no facts or records that proves that theTangkul belongs to a Naga Community.
Sir, Kaka Iralu . With most humble. I want to ask u a question on what you said on the debate. I being a Naga from Myanmar. Do u really mean that the peace doesn’t include the Nagas in Myanmar? Then what were we fighting for so long? So r u going to leve us like that? Actually if u r fighting for the batter future of Nagas we living in the Myanmar r the one who is suffering the most without benefits from anywhere. Can you answer me please?
Nagaland is for the people Naga all nagas will live in nagaland muiva also will live in nagaland but tangkhul will live in Manipur they are all manipuries
@@kuberkhundrakpam6223 haha we don’t wanna to liv with meitei people, you meitei want to become naga.the word kacha naga is for meitei for future.we Nagas will call kacha naga to meitei one day 🤣🤣🤣
These issues were planted by Nehru an S. Patel, that meiteis cannot buy or live in the hills but the tribals can buy and settle in the plains. If not we would have lived peacefully with better connectivity.
Games_Bond if you wanna buy land and live in the hills do one thing shift all offices to the hills and only then your wish shall be granted. And even this thing , territory issue was planted by Nehru .If lands were given to the right owners none would have happen.Manipur would have consisted of Imphal east and west, Bishnupur and Thoubal only. And tribal lands have been sovereign from time immemorial and no Meitei kings or meiteis have had the right to claim it hence once again proving that it doesnt belong to them. Keep one thing in mind you cannot have all the best things in life. You get something you lose the other. Give people what is theirs and respect it
If u go to any offices in Manipur u'll see 70% belonging to Meitei community n tey call us Hao (uncivilized) so I hate to b with general people....even DGP,Chief Secretary of Manipur shud b posted according to IAS n IPS seniority but Meitei Govt.transfer those IAS n IPS Tangkhuls to NE which is bias n most of them r MeiteiS only except few tribals like Kukis
Dear Mr Bora You are right history could not be very very narrow. We have (Maniour) 33 AD broad history inclusive of all indigenous people. Yes, hill areas are concerned by Kings of Manipur time to time indirectly through village chief of tribe indigenous people's. History has proof.
Arong imchen What is the identity of Naga? All the different tribes of Nagaland are different (different languages and habits) and they were grouped as nagaland just because they didn't have any identity.
All the Nagas from Manipur,Nagaland, Assam n Arunachal should be United, it's their right to form their own state n live under one banner..the political division of state should not kept dividing them forever.. There is nothing like the the map can't be redraw forever...Kuknalim ✌
Not at all satisfied with the debate here. Look at the terms used in the discussion, which is misleading and totally unacceptable. The Nagas in Manipur has always wanted to be apart of Naga integration more than anything, and it is the Meiteis who are against it. Therefore, do not use the phrases like "Manipur does not want Naga integration" because it is the Meitei not the Nagas, therefore not Manipur. The Nagas in Manipur has no voice in all aspects, despite our screams and demands for equality; thousands of deaths for raising our voices. It was mentioned here that the lands inhabitated by Nagas belongs to the Nagas, and not to meiteis, and Nagas are divided without our consent to different states of India. The question is , why are the Meiteis so much against the unification of Nagas even though we we do not intend to take an inch of land from the meiteis?? For so long, Nagas are subjugated, discriminated in the state of Manipur and if the Nagas desire to abandon the name "Manipur" for good, let us be. One irony is, Manipur state covers an area of 22,327 square kilometres and has a population of almost 3 million, with only 20% of the area belongs to Meiteis, and the rest belongs to Nagas and other tribal communities. Yet only 19 seats of the Manipur legislative Assembly belongs to the tribals, 40 seats just for the Meiteis. Likewise, in every spheres of work, educational, public and governmental institutions, the meiteis enjoys 80% of the positions. So tell me how and in what way has the Nagas (or other tribals like Kuki) offended the Meitei community by erasing the name " Manipur" from our identity that is being tag to us by force?
If you really wants to integrate than move away from Manipur and integrate elsewhere but you can't destroy the peaceful fabric of Sanaleibak . You have mentioned that you don't have voice in Manipur n not treated equally . First of all ask to your leaders who live in Imphal for your rights for looting your money that the govt has granted for hill area development
@@ramanandamangang7098 you are the proof why we can't live under one/same administration. Stop blaming tribal official for not bringing development in hill areas. We all know the reality. All this problem occurred because of your selfishness. And stop mentioning about quota coz some of your kind are fighting for that (ST).
I think naga people are right ...I been observing this issue for a long time in any debate ... settle it in a peaceful way I urge the Manipuri people...
To all my meitei friends, please understand that the present state boundary is not a historical boundary of any community or kingdom. It is a thing of a recent past which has been altered or carved based on the political situation.
Those who r talking against the dream of nagas jst go to all the hills district not even a single village road is blacktop jst go to hill n live there for a month u will see their suffering in every ground
Canny Nakhedei I understand u my frn. We all deserve to live good. In the near future I hope we all will be equalled having strong 💪 relationships. Love you like a brother. 💗
Problem of an Inch of land: the total area of present Manipur is 22,327 sq.km out of which the hill areas cover 20,126 sq.km and inhabited by the tribal people. The Tribal people (Nagas and Kukis) settles in the hill areas and the valley is dominated by the Meiteis. The Naga people live in their own land (Hill area) so as the Meitei in the valley. The dominant Meitei community who keep saying that 'not even an inch of land in Manipur will be given to the Nagas' is nothing more than to insult the Nagas. The Nagas' have been living in their own land since time immemorial. There is nothing such as smaller or greater Naga land. Wherever the Nagas are living for centuries, rightly the land belongs to them. If the Nagas have seized any part of land and Forrest that belongs to Meitei. I'm sure the Nagas will be Happy to return them. The Meitei ethnic must come out with concrete proof which village or parts of land of the Meitei have been seized by the Nagas in history of Manipur. We cant live together with like. Nagas in Manipur are not asking an inch of land that rightfully belongs to other communities. The Nagas are just pleading the govt of India and the Meitei to recognised and respect what is rightfully belongings to them since time immemorial . This can be done through readjustment of the existing state boundary under article 3 of Indian constitution... To be continued.....
One simple question to you . What will happen if all the biharis living all over India demand to central government that they wants the same as what Naga are asking for .
You are right on the issues, I hope that one day misunderstanding between us ( Nagas and Kukis) will came to an end. Then we will fight against toghether to those who try to snatch our land. 👍👍👍
It is totally baseless argument 😂😂 just because you have resided and settled for decades doesn't give you right to claim the land or demand for different state. I am staying in Bangalore for 26years and my parents from past 40yrs.... This doesn't give me right to argue that Bangalore is Manipur. This is hights of tolerance. The brothers and sisters of Naga stay in the valley and have bought lands in valley. But, no Metei or Manipuri brother and sister have rights to buy land in the hill. Just because they have stayed in the valley for decades doesn't give right to claim the valley or Meitei area as there separate area or state. It is just political fight and leaders trying the "divide and rule" policy. Manipur is a small state, if there is so much of political tension and people hating and having bandh on regular base this results in just giving hard time to common people with every day life and work. They are good amount of Nagas residing and settled down in U. S, U. K, America and etc., so will they demand Nagas have been here from decades and we want this part of the country as Naga Land????? Insanity 😁😂😂 All the best if they are planning to do so hahaha...!!!!!
so according to your statement even manipur doesnt belong to manipuri people, incase if some immigration come and dominate manipur and later claim that it belong to them will you not look upon history ??? you call it your land and you dont even have a name but you called after we name it (for eg dziikou) we are not asking an inch of your belonging we are just claiming what belong to us, when the british came to india and rule india for centuries does it make them an ownership ?? indian people were weak back then but manage to claim their right, we may be weak now but its just the matter of time what belong to us belong to us no compromise, no begging.
jayashiri laishram The Nagas did not settle on your lands or anyone else' lands. We, including the Meiteis, migrated along the same route and happen to settle to our present settlements. And its not just for 26years of settlement or 40 years of settlement. We can trace our Naga history back to 33A.D. and we have been independant for all those centuries untill the Japanese and British came in the 19th-20th century. You just don't give shitty comments with your grain-size knowledge about Nagas.
@@dchakheni809 yes you may have a mountain high knowledge but what's the point when you don't have the ability to think or have thought process. The knowledge which does no good for society is no good. There are many small communities in India if the Naga community is today encouraged for different state then tomorrow many other communities may demand the same, more the partition, division, new states, different languages. Not just results in multiculturalism but also welcomes hatred among the people - cast, religion, language. If you say so, the Nagas have settled for centuries then how about the minority group Parsis do they demand for a separate state? No!! Because they know to live in harmony and believe in helping each other to grow and prosper. A mans greed and desire has no limit or bound. (-Buddha) We all should learn to live together in peace and harmony as one, in unity. Given a stick it can be broken easily, but given a bundle of stick its difficult to impossible to break with one's normal physical strength. If you still differ then God bless You child 👍😇
jayashiri laishram This is not a matter of "not thinking and processing knowledge". So much has happened in the last 60-100 years due to this issue, thousands lost their life and you're saying, we just haven't thought it through enough? Nagas have always wanted to live in peace and harmony between neighbours and believe me, even if there ever will be Greater Nagalim, the meiteis will always be our neighbour. Talking about living together in peace, how do one begin to explain the realities of lives in Manipur to narrow single minded fellow like you. The state covers an area of 22,327 square kilometres and has a population of almost 3 million. Out of that, 20% of the areas belongs to the meiteis and the rest are occupied by tribals. However, out of 60 seats in the Manipur legislative assembly, 40 seats are for the Meiteis alone, 1 seat for Nepali/Gen quota and just 19 seats for the tribals. Not just that, from govt. services to educational institutions, 75% of the seats are filled by Meiteis. All the central funds are concentrated only in Imphal, you now see that Imphal is even more developed than Guwahati. Look at the villages in hills districts with no proper schools, sanitation, health care, electricity, roads, water supply, etc etc. So many unemployed youths because we are asked to pay 10 lakhs for a post in primary teacher or 8 lakhs for the post of a peon/clerk and tribals do not have that kind of money. Now tell me, how do we live harmoniously when we are trampled, subjugated, discriminated in our own state? You talk about how the NE people are discriminated in the mainland India, yet take a look at your homeland. And why are you meiteis so much against the wishes of the Nagas? We only wanted to live amongst our own community and be treated equal. Is that so wrong? We are asking for Greater Nagalim means all the Naga inhabited areas comes under one state, and we do not wish to take an inch of your land. Am sure you're familiar with Indian history how there was no States like Manipur/Nagaland or any other prior to India's independence. You simply do not speak out against him before you put yourself in his shoe. All we want is to leave behind the name "Manipur" being tag to us by force by the govt of India and you meiteis can call your home as Meiteiland or kangleipak or whatever without us but just leave the Nagas out of your sick dirty politics. We do not want the name "Manipur" as our identity. Leave us for good and let us live as peaceful neighbours or you know there will never be peace in the so called "Manipur".
Well in this issue No one can decide for the people of Nagaland It depends on every Naga community Or family living in Manipur whether they wish to join Nagaland or not ,meitie or Naga in Nagaland can't decide for them 'united we stand devided we fall' Long live kuknalim
Manipur Meitei should support and consider Nagas of Manipur in the peace solution. We will live as good neighborhood and help each other in time of trouble and difficulties in the future.
I am from Nagaland but i myself do not agree with the peace accord... its like a particular community migrated to a foreign land where at 1st they feel allienated... after 1000 yrs they claim for the foreign land as their own land... this could end up badly if this claim is accepted in the near future... m scared...
History and civilisation of Manipur (Kangleipak) dates back to several thousands of years in the BC. You can easily verify the fact by tracing the History and origin of Sagol Kangjei (Polo)
Johnson please try avoid saying People of Manipur just truthfully say meitei and Kuki. Secondly avoid trying threats like unimaginable impact for we know very well how to deal with tricks played by people like you.
This is the idea and policy of India to divide our brotherhood to delay on peace process and not willing to free Nagaland very soon .This world is full of dirty politics which GOI taking a main role to tackle Nagaland.Handfull advice is that we northeast state should unite together to free one state so that in the near future that freed state might do good with the Other northeastern State ..what goes around comes around ....Thank you ....from Nagaland
We the nagas has right to be accomplished Naga framework as soon as possible which has been keeping in pending since back British ruling and even now . Vive la nagas !!! Never give up
Francis Yanthan not only the nagas Kukis are also living in nagaland assam tripura burma and mizoram. Like wise there are lots of meetei in assam silchar area and even in burma. There are lots of chakmas in mizoram assam arunachal pradesh. So think about it will it be really possible to unite all the nagas inhabited areas in from different states. What if the kukis mizo meetei chakma etc etc all claim that the area which they occipied in each ststes be integrated to their land. Will it be possible. How will you draw map
Beautiful life, like you said there are a lots of Indians living in Nagaland and many northeast States but that doesn't mean they should start claiming lands from their temporary residual places..There are a lots of nagas in Delhi but we never claim Delhi to be a part of greater nagalim..What we want is our original cultural ancestral land and people under one administration as an independent country..
Beautiful life, remember that the present boundaries are just created by the Indian govt. against the wishes of the nagas.......If you are a naga please think logically n critically n if you are meitie please unite the nagas.......
The set up of this channel is same as that of republic TV and the anchor is totally copying the gesture , dressing , glasses of Arnab Goswami but gut is missing.
History of the Meitei (Manipuri): In the past, Meitei kingdom was known as Kangleipak. Present name "Manipur" evolved along with the sanskritisation of Meitei population during the 18th century. The Meitei have a long history which dated back to 33AD. The Royal Chronicles known as "Cheitharon Kumpapa" has the Chronological order of Meitei Kings from first century till the late 1940s. However, with more confusion exist than clear evidences, here is much contestation on this claim. A noted Meitei scholar, O. Tomba Singh, in his book,"A Need To Rewrite Manipur History (1993)" opined that the record of Royal Chronicles is debatable because geological excavation suggest that the entire Manipur valley was under under till about 500 years ago. Prof. Jyotirmoy Roy, in his book, "History of Manipur 1973, wrote that although the sea receded (the present Loktak Lake) the valley portion of Manipur remained under water for a long time. If we are going to believe that the Meitei have settled some where else and migrated and settled at the present site in about 500 yrs ago. The Kangleipak kingdom was confined to Imphal Valley extending to Kabaw Valley which was later gifted to Burma. Past Relationships of the Meiteis and Nagas: Naga did not live under monarchical king like Meiteis, but each village existed as a sovereign and republic nation. Naga lived as free people and has very less contact with outside world. Unlike the Nagas, the Meitei often wage war with the neighbouring Kings such as the Burmese and Tripuri kings. Interestingly it is on record that the Nagas extended helping hand to the Meitei Maharajas in times of dangers and wars. In 1717-18 the Raja Garib Nawaz requested the Naga Chiefs to attacked Samjok. According to K.Gyanendra Singh, in his book "Security and Development: The political Economy of Insurgency in Manipur,2011,Raja Garib Nawaz was a man who practiced both Vaishnavism and Militarism. His constant effort had led him to develop cordial relationship with the Nagas. Again when the Burmese troops attacked and took possession of Kangleipak for seven years. all the Meitei men fled to the hills from the valley for safety. During this seven years' devastation (chahi-tarek khuntakpa, (1819-1826), the Tangkhul Nagas generously gave shelter to the Meitei brothers.(see Prof. Jyotirmoy Roy, "History of Manipur" (1973). Probably some Meiteis settled there in Ukhrul district. In this context, it is not difficult to understand why Meitei consider Tangkhul as Elder Brother. In appreciation of this humane gesture, the Tangkhul Nagas were given prominent place in some of Meitei religious ceremony even today. When Nagas had given their best for the protection of Meitei kingdom, should not Meitei reciprocate the Nagas with the same good gesture today? Nagas I Manipur State: although Nagas do not have their own written record, their oral traditions pointed out that they were the first settler in Manipur. T.C. Hudson, in his book"The Naga Tribes of Manipur,1996(reprint) also mentioned that the Nagas were well settled than their counterpart in the valley.. However due to topographical Location, the Meitei had rapidly develop themselves. Cutting short the story, the coming of the British to Manipur has collosal impact on the Sovereign right of the Nagas. The British helped the Meitei to drive out the Burmese. Gambhir Singh was made the ruler of Manipur. By 1872, the British along with the combined forces of Raja Gambhir Singh began to intrude into Naga territory. However, in 1891, war broke out between the British and the Meiteis. The Meiteis were defeated and British took control of the whole Manipur. The British main interest I. Naga areas was to collect taxes and use them as Porter's.it allowed the Meitei Raja to conquer some of the land of the Nagas on the condition that Meitei Raja would help the troops of the British to go to Burma without any hindrance. Later on, this has resulted to the Naga Raj movement by the Zelianrong Nagas in Manipur. The British knowing fully that the Meteis and the Nagas were of different ethnic communities kept them under different administration. According to N.Ibobi Singh, the hill territory was separated from the general administration on the plea 'the hill people are not manipuris and have entirely different customs and languages,(The Manipur Administration 1707-1907). The distinct identity of the Nagas from Meitei was recognised even India's independence under the Article 371a. The British and the independent Indian had then fully recognised the fact that the Meitei and the Nagas were of different ethnic groups. The Nagas leaders of the past who had agreed to stay in Manipur (when a new state was curved out from Assam) might have assumed to be saved because there were many provisions that safeguard the interest of the Nagas. The fact that Meiteis and Nagas are different needs to be recognised, respected and accepted by all.
You are wrong. Manipur Kangleipak history dates back to several thousands of years in the BC. You can check the facts by tracing the History and origin of Sagol Kangjei (Polo)
My dear brother naga from ma nipur is there any authentic map for naga manipur if so your demand might be true. I feel ashamed of you for naga of Manipur to make wrong with without thinking your prospective.
Yongna tan yenbei fibamdo lak a...Government of India should know and respect all the 9 Articles of Manipur Merger agreement 1949 sign by Maharaja Bodhchandra ..Before it was Kangleipak under one kingdom..
@@angelchuzho5587 nop bro.I wish you don't say that, we the arunachalis live in our own land. It is not right for you to say that you're gonna take your land back. We didn't occupy your land. We are living have been living in our land since the beginning and our land belongs to us and not you.
Living on Indian currency lol ! I got no problem when i use Indian currency to buy by needs also i don't have problm with living around Hindi Speaking people
Mr. Kaka iralu, seems to know more history about tangkhuls and meiteis of manipur as the tangkhuls of manipur needs to be reminded by a naga in Nagaland. I think the GOI must be tired of trying to resolve fightings between brothers who have irreconcilable difference. Pathetic, they don't want to accept the reality but wants to blame the GOI.
Just be kind brother meetei to have peace in future that's it. All things happen because of your selfishness towards the other community and now lately realizing that's they have larger potential than you.
Self proclaimed nagas in manipur is a Bonafide NAGA under Gun point of NSCN-IM,,,!! They need to remember that they once belongs to ASSAM as a district not even a kingdom like KANGLEIPAK
If the hills belongs to the Nagas ..why did the NSCN IM displaced and perpetrated genocide killings in the 90s who have been living since before the British came to India
Do you have a meitei village or district in Nagaland as we do like in Manipur.eg. like senapati, ukhrul, chandel, tamemenglong? It's not about singju or Bora we are taking about.
Shyamsunder Oinam lol speak for yourself. The Nagas never tried to grab imphal as their own but the meiteis has started to think they own the whole Manipur just bcuz they were made to govern Manipur. The Indian government never gave the whole Manipur to meiteis, the Meiteis were given the political power because they agreed n sign to be part of India. So don't be delusional. I'm starting to think the meiteis might try to grab Delhi as their own too if they were given political power in Delhi 😂😂😂 delusion at its finest.
Arong imchen naga people hate each other and even my tangkhul frnd got beaten up in dimapur calling him false naga.. I dont think real tangkhul will like this naga accord except those nscnim
maximum of manipuris nagas do not accept this peace accord, cause they are very much related with meitei, from the history meitei and manipuris nagas are brother of same mother, we share same religion pratices, 60 percent of language is found to be similar which is contradict with nagamese language, since nagas have started to follow christianism and meitei have started to follow hinduism , there is gap between them. forgotten the historic event and brotherhood historical story, after bristish had given the name as nagas and being similar religion, there is new era where the word nagas arrived in the late 1980s. so the history of 1980s cannot represent the history of naga, naga was not just emerge only on that particula santuary. so manipuri nagas and nagaland nagas there are a lot of differrence between them
If Meiteis and Assam were so concerned about it's territorial integrity, what were they doing when Naga territories were added to their states? They should've rebelled when Naga territories were added to their state territory. Now that Nagas want to take back their rightful land, they are against it. This shows their greediness. They want to take something which does not belong to them at all. Wait, are we dealing with thieves and landgrabbers???
There is no Nagas in Manipur. The fact is that the so called Nagas in Manipur was brought under the Naga umbrella only a couple of hundred years ago. Before that Manipur History dates back to thousands of years in the BC. Did you know that the earlier territory of Manipur (pre British) extends up to Thibomei (Dimapur) in Nagaland and Cachar in Assam and Chindwin River in Myanmar
@@selloymangang . Truly, there are no Nagas in Manipur, because Manipur consist of only the valley aka Kangleipak where the Meiteis lived. The surrounding hills were never part of Manipur. The Nagas living on the hills were never under Kangleipak's rule nor did they associate with the Meiteis. So, when you use the word Manipur, you should only refer it to the Kangleipak of the past and not the present "Indian created" political Manipur.
@@robviirobviina5512 are you stupid? Naga are not after the land but the trade route, they want to obliterate Meitei once and for all, everybody see it, they are already very hostile and want to extort
There r 3 tribes in manipur Meitei, Kuki n Naga. If we can't live together, it's better Naga of Manipur joined Nagaland and give kuki separate state and the valley of Manipur will remain as Meitei land.. Problem solve, simple..
And Mr Sakshang, former President of ANSUM, you disgrace us with your speech. You couldn't even speak up and take a stand for your own right, yet how did you end up representing the Nagas in Manipur?
Adam Ryan bro i love hills people more than our community time has change man Hinduism leave away. If u go this path than u will surely regret us as we do
Adam Ryan Manipur has been ruled by a Manipuri Naga called 'Rishang Keishing' for a long time in the past. And also, there are many government officials that are Manipuri Naga. These agitators are just playing victim and it's a cheap propaganda by the NSCN.
I strongly feel that when everything come to an end Nagaland will be Nagaland, Manipur will be Manipur or Assam will be Assam, There won't be any compromise about any state boundary so we don't have to worry much about the geography whether meitei or Naga BUT one certain thing is that the style of administration will change, and from there every real colour will be revealed. So, if even in that status (the status of autonomous administration) if the Meitei doesn't agree with it then they show that they want to dominate the Naga. So brethren let's wait and see the result.
Btw there is no naga in manipur u can see similar language between meetei and tangkhul but completely different from naga in nagaland we all lost our status because we leave all our ancestorial environment may can see u people follow Cristianity and our follow Hinduism that's way it create very big issue in this dividing policy comon lets make together a peaceful states
Our lands, our rights! See, the Manipuris are not talking about any ancestral rights, they just don't want to give away the land belonging to the Nagas. It may effect the sentiments or anything to the other states but we have the rights to take it back. And if you say that it affects the other states, think about the Nagas who are under other states' jurisdictions since past independence, isn't it a thing hurting our Sentiments?
Kaka Iralu. What commoness does nagas and Manipuri nagas have. I dont find nothing in common. Language totally different. Even among the manipuri nagas like tangkhul Mao Zalengrong has nothing in common. Tangkhuls are not counted as nagas in nagaland. They cannot buy or own a house or land in nagaland.
It has been the dream and aspiration of all the Nagas to live together as one people and one Nation. That nagas are not claiming any land of any people! The meites are going to be neighbors forever and whether they like it or not. Is it not better to live as good neighbors or fights forever!
after dropping of territorial integration, cultural integration is also so vehemently opposed then it will be a miracle to find a peaceful solution......
An example of useless debate. I'm not against Naga peace accord but what they're demanding is impossible. I'm belong to Dimasa Kachari & In that case we would like to get back our land #DIMAPUR from so-called Nagaland🤔
Arong imchen British gave the Manipuri king the territorial area of Manipur including kohima(now nagaland capital). There's a carved footprint of our King in your state museum too. The NSCN and all were too embarrassed to keep it, so they even tried to destroy it.
Yaoring As In 1833, King Gambhir Singh went for conquest to Kohima (aka Thibomei then) in the military expeditions to Naga hills in 1831-1833 and had his footprints sculptured as a mark.
Arong imchen "King Ghumbeer Singh reduced several villages to submission, including the largest of all, Kohima, at which place he stood upon a stone and had his footprints sculptured on it, in token of conquest. This was set up in a prominent position, together with an upright stone bearing carved figures and an inscription. The Nagas greatly respected this stone and cleaned it from time to time" Read this bitch. It's quoted directly from the book written by James Johnstone himself. #EvidenceMadafaka www.gutenberg.org/files/37839/37839-h/37839-h.htm

Who gave meiteis the right to decide and determine on the future of the Nagas in Manipur? Better mind their own business.. Why force the Nagas to come into their ambit when they are unhappy with them?
Manipur is m'eitai land ,meitais have all the right to determine the future policies of all the people in manipur for it's sovereignty.Including the indigenious tribal in people ,Naga is just a political scheme label tag anyways .
Who the hell u r to divide this kingdom of manipur who has more then 2000 years of freedom history. The boundary of Manipur is made thousands yr back unlike the nagaland which born in just few decades ago.
why meitei people should object to 6th schedule if they resist nagalim which is understandable given the present political scenario, assam has allowed autonomy to all tribals, why manipur is not ready for that.
All north eastern states are brothers and sisters. They are genetically of same origin. Due to geographical barriers our love for each other is little bit cold but not frozen. We are all same. Respect each other
why the host don't allow the naga representatives to speak out their whole topics? horrible debate...truth will prevail now or the other day ... history is very clear and all the nagas are aspiring as one nation....
As different tribes are living together under the terminology of nagas why can't we live together as manipuri irrespective of all different ethnicities in manipur just like we live together as an Indian in India in a wide perspective n reality.
Related issue about Manipur state,Manipur pangal and other communities not only meiteis need to involve any concern but most of saying only meiteis make the envolment is wrong view. They do not fight but Manipur pangals and other have been fighting like Naga peace talk issue or.
1st of all Manipur kangleipak is not for meitei people its for every tribes settling here and do not claim yourself as a naga. Naga is just like organisation they even invite us to join them
We are nagas from our history we almst stay naked ...that what naga means ...but u meitei people wear pheijom in the history ....yours n ours culture ,dress is too diferent as day n night....
He is a sectarian arsehole. Answer my question on the division and enmity between the chiefs of Ukhrul and Hundung. You guys were not even united and existed as independent kingdoms or chieftainships but were part of the Manipuri kingdom. So don't distort history and justify being a sectarian arse.
My home is claimed by #Naga # My home is claimed by #Assam# But , I dnt know these two. I'm #WANCHO#. I'm love to be called as #Arunachalee# and #An Indian#
Mr Kakar don't interpret wrongly history of Manipur. You don't know nothing about the Maharaj's of Manipur. We have enough documents since 33 AD about the territory of Manipur. I have request to Mr Kakar don't make stupid comments about the kingdom of Manipur without knowing anything.
Beautiful life lol what? Slaves of kukis? 😂😂. Don't take it in a literal sense when brotherhood is mentioned. It can only be a figure of speech. In a sense, the Nagas being the earlier settlers was called the early or elder one. There is a different in culture and administration and hence the Nagas sticked to the traditional way of village system whereas the meiteis went on with the monarchy where the power was centralised.
Dear Himalaya, Nagaland was form from the NEFA , it was separated from Assam. This is the Nagas history. They don't have any evidence regarding the their evolution, they don't have script, even they are necked since early 20th century. Whereas Manipur has own language, script, tradition and rich culture. Obviously, we have 3 time larger territory of the present area (22,372 sq.km.) it was occupied up to Barak valley in West, in north covered Entire Nagas hills, to the east up to Kabo valley presently in Myanmar. But haven't claimed these areas because after the defeat in Anglo Manipuri war between the Bristish and Manipur in 1891. The then Bristish empire demarcate the present area. If supposed we claimed our land now, then even the Nagaland is the part of Manipur.
Aisho Sharma it is a fact that the Nagas do not have scripture or any support to their origin other than mere folklore passed down orally. However the fact still remains that the Nagas were always a sovereign entity that is until the British conquered 30% of the modern Naga tribal boundary (not the Indian or Burmese international boundary). I would also like to mention that it is a misconception on the part of the meiteis to think that the land of the Nagas were under the Manipuri kingdom. No, the Nagas and the meitei kingdom are totally two different things. Never were the Nagas conquered by the meitei kings. There are instances of skirmishes and conflict like the conflict between the Marams Nagas and the king of Manipur then who was allegedly killed by the Marams and his head taken as a trophy(I have a meitei senior geologist whoni stayed together with and have had some few talks about this-- he agrees to this ). When you say that Nagaland was a part of Manipur and Assam I agree that there is no fault in that. Indeed all of the Naga territory was included in the map of Assam and Manipur. But that does not mean Manipur conquered the Nagas and the land was ruled by them( meitei). That is barely a map drawn by the British without the consent of the Nagas. *Strictly not the territory of the Manipur kingdom but rather a map drawn by the Britishers* the old map is drawn by the British I repeat. Nothing changes by the fact that the Nagas did not have a script or historical database. What is theirs rightfully is theirs. A sense of identity only emerged during the mid or early 1900's. Yes and it was done so based on the similarity of our traditions and customs. After all most of our folktales points to a common migration point i.e makhel where the tribes parted towards their own settlements. Nothing changes and facts will remain facts. I honestly do not know much about the burmese and the meitei affair and their boundaries but this I know that the land of the Nagas were never a part of Manipur until the British and later the Indian government did so.
This is not a case of manipur only ...This frame work agreement will affect all the government of northeastern state. The history says that meitei and tangkhul were brothers but in reality some people with vested interest want a different place of their own to rule. It's like people from Bangladesh in assam asking for a different state in assam itself. The speakers from manipur just rightly said that manipur there is no place like naga only place infact lakh of naga living in the imphal which is dominant by meitei. Already meitei from manipur and other people from India cannot buy land in the hill areas of manipur but the nagas can buy land anywhere In manipur. I don't think people from assam..anurachal pradesh.will agree to this.
There may be numerous angers against one another communities but one can never deny the facts that brothers in hilly areas were and are misled by their leaders regarding the share, development and other facilities unavailable. The more they spread hatred by blaming meiteis they gain from it. I hv lovely frens and relatives in ukhrul, senapati, Mao, CCPUR which is inseparable.
ACHUMBEMO KIKON, YOU'VE BALLS TO SPEAK. I SALUTE YOU.
I pray to our mighty God to bring a solution as earlier Amen
It's because of the public that corruption is abundant in Manipur.
i think naga people got historyfobia without having any written history 😂
Fact
U got points bro.... Whatever be the future of us. Let's stand for a better brotherhood. Indian politics have been playing us all to this point.
thechemicals how can tangkhuls and meetei be brothers.
Im naga i don’t want this agreement where naga are trying to build a separate state in Manipur. We have been living together for thousands of years.
True Facts I'm sorry
True Facts fuck u..shut up
Im truly naga I love my Manipur
True Facts..we need some patriotic like u for peace n harmony
Love u bro
Come on guys, there is nothing to do with the land when you die.... Instead prefer peace ful coexistence, and no state is created on community basis, nscm im does not represent all the nagas, peace be with you to all the communities.
*THE ORIGIN OF NAGAS*
The Nagas as we know them today are actually a disparate conglomeration of mountain tribes inhabiting the Patkai mountain ranges in the north eastern region of India.
Another undeniable fact is that the disparate group of hill tribesmen were known as
Naga not until they reached their present location.
India Invaded Nagalim (Naga Hills) - Most Terrifying Story Kept Hidden For Years
The Naga people originally came from Mongolia, migrating to the present Nagalim (Naga Hills) as early as 10th century BC.
God Bless Nagalim!

politics is a dirty game.

Akhiam phaomei they have been taking advantage.
*THE ORIGIN OF NAGAS*
The Nagas as we know them today are actually a disparate conglomeration of mountain tribes inhabiting the Patkai mountain ranges in the north eastern region of India.
Another undeniable fact is that the disparate group of hill tribesmen were known as
Naga not until they reached their present location.

Maybe after all Manipur naga dies or become extinct, the other nagas will get off their comfy butt.
One should understand that land belongs to state and not to communities. If communities start claiming ownership to land, then there will be endless conflict among communities throughout the entire country.
agreed
Correct,
At first bfore state has been amended there is owner.......so theres no question of not claiming it...
Agreed
We must remember our Makhel and talk later. Meitei and Nagas are bothers from the very beginning.
Meitei and naga r brothers but we are different ......we hve devided land, different culture , distinct complexion, different food habit, different language .......we are naga .......n u r meitei ...tooo defferent......just like the night and the day......
Only brothers when convenient and the land/territory. Schemes so obvious brother of traitory!

You are right history could not be very very narrow.
Arong imchen you think predictions from peasants like you would matter? Keep dreaming.

First of all work hard and earned your place , don't wait for the quota .
@@ramanandamangang7098 you are the proof why we can't live under one/same administration. Stop blaming tribal official for not bringing development in hill areas. We all know the reality. Then what about those tangkhul lives in imphal
Why you Naga come in valley to settle and we Meitei are not allow to stay in hills Is this fare
You are right on the issues, I hope that one day misunderstanding between us ( Nagas and Kukis) will came to an end. Then we will fight against toghether to those who try to snatch our land. 👍👍👍
It's time for the hill people to unite and struggle for our freedom
Insanity 😁😂😂
All the best if they are planning to do so hahaha...!!!!!
so according to your statement even manipur doesnt belong to manipuri people, incase if some immigration come and dominate manipur and later claim that it belong to them will you not look upon history ??? you call it your land and you dont even have a name but you called after we name it (for eg dziikou) we are not asking an inch of your belonging we are just claiming what belong to us, when the british came to india and rule india for centuries does it make them an ownership ?? indian people were weak back then but manage to claim their right, we may be weak now but its just the matter of time what belong to us belong to us no compromise, no begging.
jayashiri laishram The Nagas did not settle on your lands or anyone else' lands.

No!!
We naga has every right to claim our ancestral land.
Well in this issue
No one can decide for the people of Nagaland
It depends on every Naga community
Or family living in Manipur whether they wish to join Nagaland or not ,meitie or Naga in Nagaland can't decide for them
'united we stand devided we fall'
Long live kuknalim
Then why yu called kacha
All nagas can unite in Nagaland. Period.
Manipur Meitei should support and consider Nagas of Manipur in the peace solution. We will live as good neighborhood and help each other in time of trouble and difficulties in the future.
I am from Nagaland but i myself do not agree with the peace accord... its like a particular community migrated to a foreign land where at 1st they feel allienated... after 1000 yrs they claim for the foreign land as their own land... this could end up badly if this claim is accepted in the near future... m scared...
You better shut your mouth
Fake Naga😂
Indian army is not there for picnic..... Indian army will annihilate all insurgents
We want separate administration
GOI should now understand the rights of Naga peoples and give what she has to get.
We the nagas has right to be accomplished Naga framework as soon as possible which has been keeping in pending since back British ruling and even now . Vive la nagas !!! Never give up
Ganripow Rongmei shut up bitch.
shiva verma these people are nouveau richie but in terms of being civilised.
It's the Government of India that created the boundaries and divided the nagas very badly while creating the Nagaland state..
Beautiful life,if Telengana can't be created making new boundary why not for nagas...
If Manipuri king budhachandra is not born on earth Manipuri may also have the right to freedom.
The set up of this channel is same as that of republic TV and the anchor is totally copying the gesture , dressing , glasses of Arnab Goswami but gut is missing.
That's not gut, that's drama and zero ethics. And this is a good thing.

All things happen because of your selfishness towards the other community and now lately realizing that's they have larger potential than you.
since when meetei has been acting selfish towards any other community?
Self proclaimed nagas in manipur is a Bonafide NAGA under Gun point of NSCN-IM,,,!! They need to remember that they once belongs to ASSAM as a district not even a kingdom like KANGLEIPAK
Xerxes Guide EVEN their language is similar with Assamese...
Xerxes Guide well said.
Naga has every rights to receives any development packages.
Why only naga, every Indian community has right to receive any package
If the hills belongs to the Nagas ..why did the NSCN IM displaced and perpetrated genocide killings in the 90s who have been living since before the British came to India
Den y did your meitei people kill one another ...same thing
Many Nagas are living in Delhi for the last 20 ,30 years . Claim Delhi too as Nagaland!!!!!
Seriously bro??? don't just bark understand the issues.
Do you have a meitei village or district in Nagaland as we do like in Manipur.eg. like senapati, ukhrul, chandel, tamemenglong? It's not about singju or Bora we are taking about.
No it's Nagas so we Nagas don't want to be in Manipur state instead we want to be in Nagaland state.
Initially Manipuri Cabinet are all Metei's and they take steps without Nagas concern ruling Gvt. like dictorship....
maximum of manipuris nagas do not accept this peace accord, cause they are very much related with meitei,
from the history meitei and manipuris nagas are brother of same mother, we share same religion pratices, 60 percent of language is found to be similar which is contradict with nagamese language, since nagas have started to follow christianism and meitei have started to follow hinduism , there is gap between them. forgotten the historic event and brotherhood historical story, after bristish had given the name as nagas and being similar religion, there is new era where the word nagas arrived in the late 1980s. so the history of 1980s cannot represent the history of naga,
naga was not just emerge only on that particula santuary. so manipuri nagas and nagaland nagas there are a lot of differrence between them
@@donttrustme2623 nice try. you know nothing about Naga or Manipur Nagas. douchebag

Just treat the Naga in manipur equal with the Meitei and everything will be settle..
I think that u people always follow for your benefits naga is just like and organisation they even request us to join them
Its between historical, indigenous ,ancestral land vs. artificial boundary created by indian and British.what do you think which has more weight?
Our lands, our rights! See, the Manipuris are not talking about any ancestral rights, they just don't want to give away the land belonging to the Nagas. It may effect the sentiments or anything to the other states but we have the rights to take it back. And if you say that it affects the other states, think about the Nagas who are under other states' jurisdictions since past independence, isn't it a thing hurting our Sentiments?
😂😂😂
Modi had signed a agreement with Naga rebels in year 2015 on 4 th August just before election in Manipur

Manipur was a princely state and join union of Indian in 1949 under merger agreement so we Manipur will choose to live as free Manipur .
It has been the dream and aspiration of all the Nagas to live together as one people and one Nation. That nagas are not claiming any land of any people! The meites are going to be neighbors forever and whether they like it or not.
Is it not better to live as good neighbors or fights forever!

Are you implying that the Nagas and their lands are subjects of the meitei kings??
Beautiful life lol what? Slaves of kukis? 😂😂.
Don't take it in a literal sense when brotherhood is mentioned. It can only be a figure of speech. In a sense, the Nagas being the earlier settlers was called the early or elder one.
There is a different in culture and administration and hence the Nagas sticked to the traditional way of village system whereas the meiteis went on with the monarchy where the power was centralised.
Dear Himalaya,
Nagaland was form from the NEFA , it was separated from Assam.
There's no solution to this. The brothers went in different paths long long time ago.
