Love this video man. I always dabbled with ark but never played it seriously and without modifiers but you inspired me to with this video. This was very well put together and honestly a nice entry level guide.

From what i've seen, Sinomacrops is the shining star of the map. Dinopithecus seems ok but really janky to control and some other bugs
Amarga is worth getting because they're basically living mortars with their spikes. taming method is kind of a pain though.

I gotta say, as a huge Ark fan and Ark RUclipsr fan, you and Zany Zebra have to be my favorite. I’m pretty picky when it comes to online personalities. I don’t want people that I don’t jive with. I find glock9 to be pretty entertaining personally if you wanna check him out, he isn’t strictly an Ark RUclipsr but he has 3 ark series in a playlist on his channel that are pretty good :)

I didn't want to spoil myself with this dlc, I was actually waiting for MrMeola to start his modded series as he mentioned about discovering the new map, Lost Island. I saw until 14:18 and I'm going to leave this video as it is and perhaps, come back and finish the entire video once he uploads the first episode to his new series involving this dlc + modded and the new map itself.
Cuddos to you man, for surviving in this dlc for 100 days although it just came out as well!
I know this is a little older, but if you haven't already learned this yet, to increase the maximum level cap of wild dinos:
1. Difficulty plays a role and creates level increments related to whatever the difficulty is. For example, at difficulty 5, the wild dinos' levels will be in increments of 5. This is something you likely already know, but it does play somewhat of a part.
2. Always check "maximum difficulty" as this makes the dinos levels at their maximum cap no matter what difficulty you chose.
On Lost Island, I was easily finding level 145's on difficulty 5 right out the gate at launch on PC. I've been playing on PS4 on Lost Island with my little boy and we're still finding tons of of the same levels months later. It feels like Lost Island actually has decent leveling for wild dinos if properly set up. :)

A little tip since you’re always saying the max is 120 instead of 150. If you check the maximum difficulty setting it will force dinos to be 150 no matter the map ;)
I spent so much time confused as to why my dinos were on average lower level before I realized that on lost island the dinos spawn at lower levels

I haven't had that issue. I'm not sure why some are. I've actually had BETTER luck with average level on Lost Island, since launch, than I have with most other maps aside from maybe Rag.

Really nice video man, you just need to inform yourself more about dinos so that you can kill these bosses. The Dinopithecus can use helmets to help them tank hits. That would've help a lot and also the battle cry is only used by alphas. 😆, But i enjoyed the video. keep it up.

The Tamriel map similarity was something that was widely acknowledged before the DLC even launched, if I remember. There had been snippets and posts about it for a very long time. It's honestly kind of the biggest things I recall from right before Lost Island was meant to release (I'm a huge TES fan, so it's something I thought was funny).
