Fiji looks amaze! blessed living in NZ & close to all these beautiful pacific islands .Yum , Fijian curry dishes at the end are the business indeed. Especially with fresh ingredients & local produce, Wow yes!, That's made me hungry .
Bro those currys at the end had my mouth drooling lol bloody beautiful......mean as! From the moana to the table thats what its all about and having a beer or 5 with it. cheers ollie.
Love the content 👌 te kahui maunga ki tangaroa from the mountains to the sea and the subterranean habitat of our natural world 🌎 ✨️, keep up the great work 😀 👍 Ollie.
What beauty - Ollie I had possums outside the house the other night. What terrible sounds. Reminded me of ur camping vid at the stream area. They got things sorted out before took action.🤣 Thx for sharing the hike & primal spearing mission.🤙🏼
Probably one of best content creators from New Zealand love the channel, Been here since the beginning the channel has grown up some much in so little time keep up the amazing work Ollie 🤌🏼🤘🏼
Hey mate, some info in the description. I will aim to organise a guided trip back to Fiji hopefully before years end too if that's up your alley. cheers
Imagine how many fish would of been on those reefs 50 years ago, looks fairly sparse of bigger eating fish, mans footprint spreads far and wide i’m afraid Ollie, thanks for the videos you make my friend.
Yes like most places, nothing like the old days. Yet, this was pretty close to a decent population so still impressive. Not too far from here it gets very very fishy
I make sure to flush my ears with an ear plunger after every dive. Important to use the same ear plunger to dry out the eàrs after by pumping air into them. After that, hydrogen peroxide/apple cider vinegar with a q-tip.
you're not 'supposed' to aim like that. There are a few methods for aiming a speargun. For me I use the point and shoot which comes instinctively and for me is usually very very accurate. I had a few issues in fiji, as using a new gun with a new double flopper shaft which wasn't tuned so was shooting low. (later found this in further pool testing).
I’m off to Fiji in October, this series is getting me pumped! Cheers for the great content Ollie, only a matter of time until this channel blows up
So am I! I’m leaving on the 12 and returning on 21/10. Are you joining Dave Packman?
Wow!Fiji is like Philippines..
Best show on RUclips 👍👌

Rain, wind and bad weather hits different when it's tropical haha
We had it rough for a while, a lot less diving than i hoped for but still managed to get a few days out
gosh what a beautiful young man
Great video. I think mackerel is about my favourite eating fish. Often smoke it over a nice charcoal bbq with apple wood.
It might be my new favourite too! absolutely beautiful
Interesting spear gun. Some kind of compound system?
Love it!
Miss you guys mate, I cant wait to get back..
Beauty Brotha 💯👍😁

Yea the pictures of the Goliath groupers in Florida that were 8 foot long 60 years ago are a reminder of all that we’ve lost
@@jerk4628 At the rate the human race is going there is bound to be a reset pretty soon in the grand scheme of things.
What camera equipment and models do you use for making these videos? Gopro? DSLR? Drone? Underwater Equipment?
Nice caption bro, what drone u using?
Hey mate just got the mavic mini 3 pro. its epic
Further research has shown Spanish mackerel identity as Portuguese.
Nothing worse than a dodgy sinus. I have the same issue as you. Fiji looks great!!
Ever been to Ahipara?
Yes! not diving though
I knew a kid back in the days named Ollie who grew up with his mum who grew sunflowers

Thanks for the tips!
Wherebout in Fiji is this waterfall at
Up north about an hour drive in from main road. Must see if in FIji
Hello
No one thinks of Fiji and their water… 😢 Their tourist board is about to kick you out. I would.🎉
Funny thing, Fiji Water is actually from a bore nowhere near these lush mountains. This water was much nicer!
I might be wrong, but you sound a bit tired in this one Ollie. Tropical waters can carry some nasty pathogens. Take care and look after yourself.
It might be a tumor? 😮
Perhaps just a bit tired! get's like that when not used to the heat. Im all good and healthy now!
Also curious what specific pathogens you can get.
Chorine dioxide solves any pathogen issue, happy days.
The heat knocks me down, specially on the wetsuit...
I got smashed by Fire Coral a year ago in Bali, I don't recommend it at all.
I got lit up by some pulling up a mooring line. Not a lot of fun, aye?
@@edstraker8451 You know it's not what you want to touch straight away, that's for sure. I had blisters / welts for a week.
Why do you shoot with your thumb on top of the handle where you are supposed to aim…? no wonder why your shots are so unprecise
