I had a black Contour SVT back in 2000, really liked it. I remember that the only issue I had was that the suspension became floaty when pushed hard. The engine sound under acceleration was great. What happened to Ford, they aren't making anything for car guys unless you can live with a coupe.

Very underrated car, most likely a future classic along with the Taurus SHO.

Loved all my SVT Contours including my current 99 silver frost.. Nothing quite like it.. Cant beat it with a stick!
