If I decide to try to create a pattern it only confuses me to try to bead it🤪 I’ve been looking for something that I could use to do exactly what you have created. However might you create a work area on a smaller scale. Bracelet weaving is what I create most often and matching earrings. Possibly everything fitting on half of what you have now, width wise. Thanks for your awesome idea. 😃

Hi Roseanna, Thanks for your comment. I thought long and hard about what size to make my OGees Board. I design both large and small pieces. I settled on the size of the board that let me do everything I need to do. Some people have asked me for a smaller board, and one customer actually had 3 of my OGees Boards combined by a carpenter. She makes very large tapestries. There's no reason why you can't design small pieces on OGees Board. Regards, Orly

You do that complicated turn for odd count. I use the two needle method where your work is in the centre of your long thread, a needle on each end, and you work two rows with one needle then two rows with the other. So much easier!

Thanks Jeni, I'm not familiar with the technique you described but you can bet I'll be trying it. Thanks very much! Orly

Hello, thanks for your interest in my OGees Board. My website is www.OGeesSeedBeadingDesignBoard.com. I invented this handy dandy board and we manufacture in the US. Best, Orly

I’d like to learn how to use each part of the board… they aren’t labeled.. what’s what?.

Hello, the dimples in a straight row is for bead weaving. The dimples that are staggered are for peyote, peyote with a twist and brick stitches. The smaller dimples are for sizes 16/0 to 11/0. The larger dimples are for size 8/0 beads. Hope this helps.

@ mahalo’ I’ll need to sit and play.. it seems Tetious at first , but in the end it seems like it will save time in the process of stitching!

@@sharonquesnel2427 Aloha, The stitching does go very quickly. And it's very annoying to find the wrong bead 10 rows later. Stitching from the board eliminates this problem.

What happened to the sound!!!!???? Ugh!! I have no idea how you are putting it together. 😢

Sorry about the sound. This is a peyote stitch. Doing tutorials is not a talent I possess. I'm better at inventing design boards. :) There are many excellent RUclips tutorials. My video is intended to demonstrate the advantage of laying out the design on OGees Board and picking the beads up with needle and thread. Thank you.
