It's so hard managing to live as a single person at the moment, everything is so expensive. And when you're going through a hugely emotional time, things do slip. Take care and don't give yourself a hard time xx

Re-watching this. You're very wise. It's just occurred to me that you're living SO richly ❣️
Budgeting, foraging, living creatively... and loving Jack. It looks a lot like perfection to me❣️. Not being glib, because I know it's way difficult,...but it's good. Really good ❣️
Thank you for the inspiration. You are amazing ❤️❣️🇿🇦🙏

I am always working out budget calculations on scraps of paper that no one else would understand 😂.
I have been taking out £20 a week in cash for fun money. It’s so easy to tap your card & lose track of all the little bits here & there. Cash definitely makes me more conscious of my spending 👍🏻

Everyone sometimes goes off track. We sometimes just need that temporary boost. I'm going off track as we speak 😂. Holidays coming up and unexpected £1000 for car mot has cleared me out so I'm having to increase my overdraft again 😢 BUT it's only temporary and I'm committed to getting back on track and starting to try get a 'sinking fund' together to avoid this type of thing ! It's just so hard. Thank you for your inspiration ❤

I regularly go off piste, it’s easily done. One month I can be in credit at the end, the next month I can be £1000 overdrawn and not know why, I’m not good at sticking to a budget, and I need to be! You’re so inspiring, I’m here for the ride!
The fakeaway looked spot on too!

Everyone relapses once in a while - but you acknowledge it so you can overcome it! Onwards and upwards. Look forward and continue to cut out any unnecessary items. You are doing it! I have faith in you! PS: Hello Jack - he is SO cute.

I’m sure you will get back on track. You’ve been through a lot. Do look at Olio. It might provide some basic items for free to allow you to spend on other items.

Hi Rechenda. Cash is a brilliant way of budgeting. Can I just make a little suggestion for your tax bill going forward which my daughter does. If you work out from your expected earnings what you are likely to pay in tax put that percentage away in a savings account. Don’t touch that account under any circumstances except to pay your tax bill. I hope you don’t mind me suggesting that.
    Love your channel.

Hi again, slowly making my way through your videos. I do go off plan A LOT and I’m always having to ‘make up for it’!!!
I do cash stuffing and I feel that it keeps me more focused and stops me from going off plan as much as I used to. Having said that, grief is something that affects every area of your life and needs to be acknowledged. You are doing amazing. Stay kind to yourself. Sending hugs 🤗

I live on my overdraft. I don't actually care anymore. Everything is too expensive. Food, rent, fuel, energy, travel costs.... I have 4 pet cats and 2 ferals that need feeding. Plus two sons still at home.

Don't be too hard on yourself, Rechenda. Rents in the UK are far too high for starters. I hope with the new government in, house buying schemes can help you, it's the least you deserve ❤ Jack remains adorable 🖤

Have you heard of cash stuffing? Don't really know how that works for some people. They take out money for specific things at the start of the month.I also noticed the cost of a coffee out is gone way uo. It's 4 euro. I did the grocery shopping online so will see if that's cheaper long run or will I still pick things up on top of that. Really went off budget when my Dad died as well. Grief makes you do strange things. You will probably make money selling some things.

Hi lady r i only ever spend cash i am old school. U need to reign it in i couldnt cope with no back up emergency funds of at least 2 thousand . I tell my girls food fuel and rent is essential fun is not its a treat only as and when you can afford it as me and daddy wont always be around as a back up . London sweden and the gym may have been necessary for your sanity at this time as u adjust to life without mum si that is what it is however it cannot be made a habit of if u want to get a bit of a nest egg gathered up. I know u will get back on track U have done it before. Hope u r enjoying your weekend . Talk soon px

Is your tax bill yours or your businesses? If its your business tax bill, it should come out of your business expenditure!
